He was forced to accept a brutal reality—
This monstrous Karin was sothing they could not deal with at all.
In front of her, the so-called ninja ranking system beca a ridiculous joke.
Genin? One palm strike—shattered.
Chūnin? Torn apart with a casual grab.
Elite jōnin? They might dodge once, maybe twice—but once that ghostlike speed caught up to them, the outco was no different.
Under Karin's hands, all lives were equal.
The only difference was that elite jōnin could struggle a few seconds longer. Nothing more.
Her speed caused the vast majority of attacks to miss entirely, and her absurd durability and regeneration rendered the rare hits aningless.
She was like an inexhaustible, indestructible killing machine—efficiently and joyfully carrying out her work of "purification."
"It's over… it's all over…"
The village leader muttered in a daze. The greed and ambition he once held had long since been swallowed by boundless terror.
Now, his only thought was no longer how to seize that so-called inheritance—
But how to survive.
Staring at the red figure laughing freely amid mountains of corpses and seas of blood, he felt as though he were witnessing not only the end of Kusagakure, but the beginning of a terrifying future for the entire shinobi world.
"How is this possible… how is this possible…"
He murmured blankly, his voice hoarse and dry.
"This is completely unreasonable… How old is Karin?! What kind of power is that supposed 'inheritance'? How can it be this strong?!"
Recalling how she ignored all attacks and harvested lives with a re wave of her hand, a sense of utter absurdity surged through him.
Then—
Unwillingness and jealousy bit into his heart like venomous snakes.
"Why her?! Why was she chosen?!"
He slamd his fist into the ground, looking half-mad.
"I'm the leader of Kusagakure! I'm the one qualified to wield that kind of power! Am I not worthy?!!"
All his sches and ambitions were nothing but a pitiful joke before such absolute power.
That "inheritance," so close yet forever out of reach, shattered like a reflection in water—taking with it his dignity, his ambition…
And his body.
All of it smashed into nothingness.
Karin stood at the edge of the village, glancing back at the towering flas and billowing smoke behind her.
Fire greedily licked at what remained of the buildings. From within, faint, trapped screams occasionally surfaced—only to be quickly swallowed by the crackling of the blaze.
She tilted her head slightly, listening to those dying cries.
Not the slightest hint of pity appeared on her face. Instead, she smiled—pleased, satisfied.
To her, this was the final movent of impurity being completely cleansed.
A beautiful sound.
"There are still… quite a few outside, aren't there?"
Karin murmured softly.
She rembered that so people had been understood to evacuate earlier—escaping a complete "cleanup." That felt like a small blemish.
Those who hadn't escaped in ti, however, had already beco one with these ruins.
She glanced down at her clothes, long since soaked through with blood and now darkened and stiff from the heat. Wrinkling her nose slightly, she showed a hint of distaste.
She brushed herself off casually, then looked around, vaguely identifying her direction.
In truth, there was no need.
To her, anywhere could be a stage for purification.
In the end, she chose a direction at random and stepped forward.
That petite, blood-soaked figure—silhouetted by flas reaching toward the sky—walked away from the place where she had endured endless humiliation…
And which she had personally turned into hell.
She did not look back.
For her, this was only the beginning.
The beginning of a long journey—carrying out the Demon God's will, purifying the entire tainted world.
Inside a personal spatial domain, Yin An stared at the scene displayed through a Water Mirror Technique.
Karin, like a tireless killing machine, was pursuing fleeing villagers. Wherever she passed, only spreading bloodshed and despairing screams remained.
Yin An felt his scalp go numb.
"No—wait—this—"
He pointed at Karin in the water mirror, montarily at a loss for words.
"Karin… she's completely gone berserk?!"
This was far beyond his expectations.
Originally, he had rely intended to give the poor girl a "Demon God" as a psychological anchor—a source of emotional support.
And then grant her enough power to protect herself and escape her suffering.
In his original script, Karin would at most take revenge on those who directly persecuted her in Kusagakure, then leave with her newfound strength—perhaps becoming a morally gray wildcard in the future.
Who could have imagined that she would imdiately activate indiscriminate slaughter mode?
She hadn't spared ordinary villagers.
She had even started burning the village down.
"Wait a second… this skill, 'Devil's Whisper'(Advanced genjutsu influence)…"
Yin An suddenly rembered the mind-corrupting ability he had added on a whim. His expression turned strange.
"Don't tell … this thing can even brainwash its own user?!"
He carefully observed Karin's ntal state and realized her thoughts were now completely consud by a twisted fanaticism.
Her original intent of revenge had been overwritten by an extre belief—
Purify the world to please the Demon God.
The darkness and hatred in her heart had been infinitely amplified by that ability, eventually turning back to dominate her will.
"Good grief… seriously, good grief," Yin An said helplessly, scratching his head with a wry smile.
"Did I seriously ss this up? The skill ended up reverse-brainwashing its owner?"
Stroking his chin, he watched Karin's crazed figure flicker in and out of the sea of flas. After a long sigh, he muttered with a tone of resigned indifference:
"Ah, whatever. Forget it."
"This shinobi world is already chaotic enough."
"Sky projections, divine techniques, serpent monsters, Knights of God(ancient shinobi clan)…"
"One more rampaging 'Purification Witch' doesn't really change much, does it?"
He shook his head, as if tossing this "minor accident" aside.
But then—
His eyes lit up again.
Touching his chin, he revealed that familiar, mischievous smile he always wore before stirring trouble.
"Still… when you think about it, this actually isn't a bad storyline."
"A girl burdened with oceans of blood and hatred, granted power by a 'Demon God,' declaring vengeance and 'purification' upon the entire world…"
"Tsk tsk. The plot, the conflict, the character arc…"
"Maybe next ti the sky projection appears, Karin could be the 'main character' for once? Let the shinobi world see just how dazzling—and terrifying—a so-called 'ordinary person' can beco when pushed to absolute despair."
At that thought, Yin An suddenly felt that Karin's unexpected rampage…
Was actually kind of interesting.
No longer troubled by how far things had deviated from his original plan, Yin An instead began enthusiastically plotting how to turn this out-of-control revenge fire—one he himself had ignited—
Into the next spectacular drama that would shake the entire shinobi world.
