December of Konoha Year 56, at the cetery in the old site of Konoha, Land of Fire.
Kakashi, wearing a dark green trench coat, had his short white hair plastered to his cheeks by the wind.
He carefully hugged the baby in his arms and said, "Rin, slow down, the wind is a bit strong today."
Rin's eyes carried a gentle smile as she said, "I should have made you wear an extra coat. It's much colder here than in the Land of Water."
Kakashi looked down at the baby in his arms and said, "Ken's sleeping so soundly, still not awake yet?"
Rin leaned on Kakashi's shoulder and said gently, "The little one must be tired from playing."
Kakashi looked down at Ken in his arms. The baby slept peacefully, his small face rosy, occasionally smacking his lips. Their gazes t from ti to ti, and a gentle smile always appeared when they looked at each other, as if they were ant to walk together so intimately.
They walked to Obito's tombstone. Kakashi first handed Ken to Rin, letting her sit on a flat stone. He then squatted down and gently brushed the dust off the gravestone.
Rin, holding Ken, took out white chrysanthemums from a basket and handed them to Kakashi.
Kakashi neatly placed the white chrysanthemums in front of the tombstone and said, "Obito, we've co to see you. These past few years in the Land of Water, Rin has managed the ho very well, and Ken is also very well-behaved. Look, he's over ten months old. His hair is a bit like mine, but his face shape is a bit like yours."
As he spoke, he turned to look at Rin.
Rin gently swayed Ken in her arms and responded to Kakashi's gaze with a gentle look.
Kakashi squatted in front of the tombstone, chattering about their daily lives. "Rin is learning to make the dango you used to love, but she can't quite get the sweetness right. Rin smiled and nodded, reaching out to touch Ken's little face. "He loves to hear Kakashi tell stories about you from before. Ken seed to be woken by his parents' voices, slowly opening his eyes and curiously staring at the tombstone, waving his small hands. Suddenly, he grabbed Rin's hair that hung by her side.
Rin smiled, trying to pull her hair free, but Kakashi reached out first, carefully prying open Ken's small hand, his movents extrely gentle as if afraid of hurting him. "Don't pull mama's hair, mama will feel pain."
He helped Rin tidy her hair and then casually wiped the corner of Ken's mouth.
This scene happened to fall into Obito's eyes.
Obito's body was pressed against the cold wall, his fists clenched, making cracking sounds, and even his breathing beca heavy.
Watching Kakashi help Rin tidy her clothes, and the gentle smiles they exchanged when their eyes t, felt like sharp knives, stabbing deeply into his heart.
"How dare you desecrate Rin's body... create a clone... this false world..."
Obito's teeth ground together, making a cracking sound, and his Mangekyo Sharingan under the mask spun wildly.
He clearly rembered that it was Kakashi who had personally plunged his Chidori into Rin's heart, and it was Kakashi who had destroyed everything he had. But now, this murderer was actually using Rin's cells to create a clone and living such a happy life with her.
A wave of disgust flooded Obito's mind. He watched the warm scene of the two playing with the child together, every detail fueling his rage.
He wished he could rush out imdiately and tear apart this false happiness before his eyes.
This clone didn't understand Rin's preferences at all, and Kakashi was utterly unworthy of having such a gentle wife.
"Kakashi... you thief... you deserve to die..."
In Obito's chest, a fla seed to be burning, and the killing intent in his eyes grew even stronger.
This clone should not exist, and Kakashi should not have this happiness.
When Kakashi reached out again to tuck Rin's wind-blown hair behind her ear, Obito could no longer hold back. He suddenly rushed out from behind the broken wall, aiming a fierce blow at Kakashi's head.
Kakashi's ears twitched instantly. Years of combat instincts made him imdiately sense danger. Without a mont's hesitation, he imdiately picked up Rin and Ken and leaped away.
He instantly activated his Three-Tomoe Sharingan, his gaze fixed on the mysterious masked man before him. He recognized this masked man, having clashed with him many tis in the shadows over the years, and knew that the opponent possessed phasing abilities, making him a very dangerous man.
His tone was tense. "Rin, this man is very dangerous, quickly take Ken and leave."
"Alright, Kakashi, be careful then." Rin hugged Ken tightly and quickly ran into the distance.
Her eyes were filled with fear, yet she couldn't help but stare at the mysterious masked man, and the sense of familiarity in her heart grew stronger.
She felt that this figure was very kind, but seeing Kakashi's tense appearance, she began to worry about Kakashi.
Obito watched this scene, his disgust growing even deeper. It was just a clone, yet it even pretended to worry about Kakashi.
Kakashi really treated her as Rin, protecting her everywhere, this was simply an insult to Rin.
He sneered, his body suddenly becoming transparent, and he lunged towards Rin.
His goal was clear: to first eliminate this clone that disgusted him.
"Rin, run! He's after you!"
Kakashi's heart tightened. He imdiately activated his Body Flicker Technique, blocking Rin's path, and the blue light of Chidori illuminated in his palm as he slashed towards Obito's neck.
He dared not be careless in the slightest. With every attack, he thought of protecting the person behind him. Even his defensive movents were deliberately designed to shield Rin more tightly.
Rin retreated with Ken, but she constantly watched Kakashi's figure, seeing his arm cut by a chakra rod.
She couldn't help but exclaim, "Kakashi! Your hand is bleeding!"
She wanted to rush over to bandage him but was sternly stopped by Kakashi.
"Don't co over! Quickly take Ken and leave!"
Watching the deep affection between the two, the rage in Obito's heart grew even fiercer.
He wanted Kakashi to once again experience the pain of killing Rin back then, to let him know that he was unworthy of such happiness.
Genjutsu: Sharingan.
Kakashi's eyes instantly beca vacant, and his body stiffened in place.
In the genjutsu space, the scene from that year played repeatedly—the mont he personally killed Rin.
Guilt and self-reproach instantly overwheld him, causing him to lose all ability to resist.
Rin watched Kakashi's pained expression, tears instantly welling up, her voice choked with sobs. "Kakashi! Wake up!"
Watching the clone cry for Kakashi, the disgust in Obito's heart reached its peak.
