After discerning his whereabouts, Shun pondered for a mont. He did not imdiately notify Minato and Kakashi. Obito was extrely fast, and if they waited to assemble a team, they might miss the optimal tracking opportunity. He decided to pursue Obito alone first to confirm Ken's safety.
Then, Shun used the Flying Thunder God Technique, and his figure vanished from where he stood. When he reappeared, he was already in a forest in the Land of Fire.
This location was closer to the Land of Iron, making it the best starting point for pursuing Obito.

Shun walked up to Obito, looking down with a cold tone. "Obito, how does it feel to kill Rin with your own hands?"
Obito struggled to get up, his voice filled with anger and unwillingness. "That was just a clone, it wasn't Rin at all! Stop spouting nonsense!"
Shun suddenly laughed, his laughter tinged with a hint of mockery. "Hahaha, Obito, you don't actually think that only Edo Tensei can revive people, do you?"
He paused, his gaze becoming playful. "Let tell you honestly, I revived Rin. If you hadn't been so impatient and killed Rin, perhaps you would have discovered that she wasn't a clone at all."
"No... what you're saying is... false... she was just a clone!"
Obito felt as if he was struck as if by lightning, staggering back a few steps. He clutched his head and squatted on the ground, shaking his head frantically.
He had a lingering suspicion but he wasn't sure and he still held onto the hope that the Rin he had just killed was rely a clone.
The scene of Rin's death flashed through his mind. He had pierced her heart with Wood Release, yet she hadn't hated him. Instead, she had gently reached out, wanting to caress his face.
"Obito... you must have... suffered a lot... these past years..."
"She recognized ... yet I killed Rin... I killed Rin with my own hands."
Imnse pain and regret instantly overwheld his reason.
He suddenly stood up and violently slamd his head against a nearby large tree, blood streaming from his forehead, yet he seed to feel no pain. He just kept slamming into the tree.
"I killed Rin... It was ... I deserve to die."
In the shadow of a large tree, Black Zetsu and White Zetsu were secretly observing the scene before them.
"Obito's been broken, we can't let him keep harming himself."
Just as Obito was spiraling into collapse and attempting to continue self-harming, a black shadow suddenly shot into his body.
