Seeing that none of the people below had been injured, Deidara smacked his lips in annoyance in midair.
"Not bad. You actually dodged everything."
Watching Naruto and the others rapidly close in, Deidara's eyes rolled.
"Didn't expect you guys to be this fast. In that case—try this!"
As he spoke, Deidara tossed the freshly molded clay to the ground. In the next instant, a massive clay dragon appeared. Its enormous body lood over the people below as it opened its gaping mouth.
Deidara leapt backward, abandoning the clay bird and landing atop the dragon instead. At the sa ti, the dragon's tail suddenly retracted by a segnt. After absorbing the stored energy from its tail, the dragon opened its mouth and spat out a miniature clay dragon.
The small clay dragon flapped its wings and dove downward like a suicide squad mber, charging straight at Naruto and the others below.
If they dodged, it would be difficult to keep pursuing Deidara. With that in mind, Neji gritted his teeth and unleashed Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm once more.
The Vacuum Palm collided with the miniature clay dragon, triggering a violent explosion in midair. anwhile, the group below continued to accelerate forward.
"Hah! You've got so skills. You can handle one—but what if I spit out ten?"
As he spoke, Deidara ford hand seals. With his movents, the long clay dragon tail retracted several more segnts, and the dragon opened its mouth again.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Ten more miniature clay dragons shot out, diving downward. At the sight of them, everyone's expression changed.
At the critical mont, Sasuke stepped forward. He pointed a finger, and Chidori Sharp Spear shot out instantly. The extended lightning spear precisely swept through all ten miniature clay dragons in midair.
In an instant, the clay dragons were split cleanly in two.
As Sasuke's Chidori Sharp Spear cut through the clay dragons, Neji's Byakugan suddenly flared. He spoke at once:
"Sasuke, his bombs have a weakness! The weakness is your Lightning Release. Any bombs hit by your lightning chakra turn into duds!"
Sasuke nodded calmly.
"I noticed that as well. That's why I'll need everyone's cooperation for what cos next."
Hearing this, Naruto imdiately perked up. He had already been furious from dealing with Deidara's explosives.
"Just say the word—how do you want us to help?"
Sasuke's three-tomoe Sharingan swept across everyone present before finally settling on Hoshiyomi.
"Lord Hoshiyomi, I know you're not particularly interested in this fight, but I'd like to borrow your sword."
Hoshiyomi raised an eyebrow. Without another word, he took the Grass Long Sword, Kusanagi Blade from his back and tossed it to Sasuke.
"Go ahead and put on a show. If you beat that guy, I'll give you a reward when we get back to the village."
Hearing this, a rare smile actually appeared on Sasuke's face.. He sheathed the sword at his waist and replied:
"Leave it to ."
Just then, Naruto's eyes lit up. He leaned close to Lee's ear and whispered a few words before asking:
"How about it? Can it be done?"
Lee's eyes sparkled. He raised a thumbs-up enthusiastically.
"Naruto-kun, I think we can!"
As he spoke, Lee began gathering power on the spot and activated the Eight Gates. This ti, he didn't hold back—he opened the Fifth Gate in one go.
After three years of training, opening the Fifth Gate was no longer difficult for Lee.
With the Fifth Gate open, Lee said nothing further and simply crouched down, preparing himself.
"Co on, Naruto!"
"Alright!"
Without a second thought, Naruto jumped onto Lee's back. Then, grinning excitedly, he waved at Sasuke.
"Get up here too, Sasuke!"
Sasuke froze for a mont and asked speechlessly, "What are you trying to do?"
Naruto broke into a grin.
"Isn't your Lightning Release the only thing that works on that bomb guy? But you can't fly up there to zap him yourself. So Lee and I will be responsible for throwing you up there!"
Looking into Naruto's sincere eyes, Sasuke paused. After a mont, he realized the idea was… surprisingly feasible. Suppressing his embarrassnt, he stepped on Lee's back and jumped onto Naruto's back as well. The three of them stacked together like a human pyramid.
Under Tenten's puzzled gaze and Guy's enthusiastic cheers, Lee let out a loud roar:
"This is my burning youth!"
After shouting that, Lee took off at full speed!
Neji understood exactly what Sasuke was trying to do. He exchanged a glance with Guy, and the two of them burst out with full strength to keep pace with the trio. Their role now was to provide cover.
Tenten twitched at the corner of her eye and turned to Hoshiyomi.
"Lord Hoshiyomi, what exactly are they doing…?"
Hoshiyomi smiled and reached out to rub Tenten's hair buns.
"Just watch carefully."
anwhile, Deidara hovered in the air, staring down at the smoke below, wondering whether he should throw out a few more clay dragons.
Just as he hesitated, a dramatically over-the-top shout echoed from below. He instinctively looked down—and saw Lee charging toward him at full speed with Naruto and Sasuke on his back.
Deidara burst out laughing at the sight. He lay back on the clay dragon, laughing for a long while before wiping tears from the corners of his eyes.
"What an entertaining little skit. As a reward for making laugh so hard, let show you the true aning of art."
As he spoke, Deidara pulled out a large lump of clay and began molding it rapidly.
"Art… is an explosion! Go—C1: Twin-Winged Bird!"
He hurled it forcefully, and the twin-winged bird expanded in midair, charging toward Sasuke and the others at several tis the speed of the earlier clay bird.
However, Lee and the others paid it no mind, because before it could even enter their attack range, it was blown apart by Neji's Vacuum Palm.
The trio continued their high-speed charge. After dodging several more waves of explosive attacks, they finally reached a point directly beneath Deidara.
Lee took a deep breath, stomped hard on a nearby tree, and flung Naruto and Sasuke off his back.
"Burn your youth, Sasuke and Naruto!"
As Naruto and Sasuke were hurled into the air, Naruto shouted excitedly as well:
"Let's na this technique—Lee-Naru-Sasu Barrage!"
As he spoke, Naruto gave the utterly speechless Sasuke another shove, using himself as a springboard to launch Sasuke even higher into the air.
Seeing Sasuke rapidly ascending, Deidara grinned and commanded the massive clay dragon beneath him to rise as well.
"What a great joke!"
But at that very mont, a terrifying bolt of lightning sliced through the dragon's wings. With Sasuke's full-powered swing, the wings were cleanly severed.
With its wings cut off, the clay dragon imdiately lost balance in midair and began to plumt.
Startled, Deidara looked up at Sasuke, who was suspended in the air, gripping the Grass Long Sword, Kusanagi Blade with a cold expression. Lightning still flickered along the blade—remnants of the Chidori Sharp Spear.
Sasuke stared down at him with a sneer.
"So, who's the joke now?"
