Aerial Fortress, inside the deck pavilion.
Stare~
Shion's eyes drifted occasionally to the two massive peaks on the left, still inexplicably shocked.
"Haven't you seen enough yet?" Samui returned to her usual calm and cool deanor.
"It's not like you haven't asured them with your own hands. Do you still think they're fake?"
"You... You... I... I..."
Shion's pretty face instantly flushed red. She couldn't accept such explosive words being spoken in a public setting.
She hurriedly looked around.
Seeing that Honoka was observing the koi in the stream and Kada was nowhere to be seen, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Samui, don't say things like that here... If Honoka hears, I'll die of sha."
"Oh~" Samui teased, "Shion, you really should exercise to improve your stamina."
"Every ti, you faint after just a few rounds. Your face goes pale yet flushed; it's quite ridiculous."
"I... My stamina is just like this. I was born this way; I'm afraid I can't change it."
"By the way..." Shion suddenly leaned in, whispering into Samui's ear.
"Don't you think there's sothing wrong with that white paper? It seems different from Lady Konan's ordinary white paper."
"It can actually extend white threads that are controlled so flexibly—the length and diater can be adjusted at will. It's no different from being alive."
"And Lady Konan uses that white paper to interrogate us every ti."
"It works great, doesn't it?" Samui glanced at her, remaining calm.
She had discovered the anomaly of that white paper long ago.
But so what? That was Lady Konan's secret; she wouldn't speculate or ask questions.
When it was ti to know, she would naturally know.
Samui hugged Shion, speaking ambiguously, "Don't worry about whether it's paper or not. As long as it works well. Isn't being 'tailor-made' a good thing?"
Their eyes t, and Shion, like a frightened rabbit, imdiately looked away.
Lovely blushes appeared on her cheeks, and she lowered her head, wishing she could bury it in her chest.
Just thinking about those various scenes made her body go weak. It was too shaful...
The door to the new world had been welded shut; there was no going back.
Honoka released the colorful koi she had been playing with back into the flowing water and walked into the pavilion.
Looking at the two acting strangely, she quickly leaned in close to them, excitedly asking, "What are you talking about? Is there a secret?"
"Quick, tell ! Good sisters should share properly."
We can't share this with you, unless...
Samui and Shion exchanged a glance, smiled, and said nothing.
Kada appeared on the deck, walked to the edge of the pavilion, and asked with a chuckle:
"It's almost noon. What would you like to eat?"
Honoka was imdiately distracted by the ntion of food. She stopped fussing over secrets and shouted loudly:
"Uncle Kada, I want at! Lots and lots of at!"
Since coming to the Sky Ninja Fortress, the thing she looked forward to most every day was alti.
The food cooked by the chef here was a hundred tis more delicious than what she ate on the Summoning Island.
Uncle Kada was also very kind and always satisfied her requests.
Uncle Kada nodded and looked at the other two won. "And you two? What would you like to eat?"
Shion raised her hand shyly. "Un... Uncle Kada, I want to eat that braised fish from last night."
Samui said coolly, "I rember there are still ingredients left from the Land of Lightning. Please make so Land of Lightning specialties."
She feared it would be difficult to return in the future, so she wanted to taste the flavor of ho.
"Alright, I'll go prepare it right now."
"Uncle Kada," Honoka stepped forward. "It's been three days. When will Lady Konan return?"
Kada stopped in his tracks and pondered. "I'm not sure either, but Lady Konan ordered us to wait here."
"Don't worry. You know how powerful Lady Konan is; she won't be in any danger."
Having personally witnessed Lady Konan's battles several tis, he had a blind trust in her power.
He feared there were few in the entire ninja world who could rival her.
Lady Konan was the sun. Her light would sooner or later shine upon the entire ninja world, making everyone submit.
Loyalty!
Kada's heart was filled with strength, his blood boiling with enthusiasm.
"Where is Ryuzetsu?" Honoka looked behind Kada.
She hadn't been seen for days; who knew what she was busy with?
"Lady Konan previously ordered Ryuzetsu to form an Anbu unit. These past few days, Ryuzetsu has been busy training them and has gone out to gather intelligence."
"Is that so?" Honoka clenched her fists. "Then I can't fall behind. After eating, I'll continue training!"
"Samui, please drill hard."
Samui nodded coolly. "Don't worry, leave it to ."
After all, she used to be an Elite Jonin of Kumogakure and one of the core high-ranking officials. Training a Jonin would be a piece of cake for her.
She looked at Shion beside her. "Shion, after we eat, you have to co too."
"Huh??" Shion's face instantly turned bitter. "I don't need to, do I? I don't know how to fight..."
"No!" Samui was firm. "You must co. Your stamina is too poor."
"Even if you are born that way, you can strengthen it through training."
"Lady Konan said you had overdrawn a large amount of life force and your lifespan is short. She specifically instructed to watch over your physical training."
"In the future, Lady Konan will have a way to replenish your life force and restore your normal lifespan."
Missing life force? Just inject it again.
Alex had plenty of ways to do that.
Shion opened her cute little mouth but finally mumbled, "Alright, I'll listen to Lady Konan."
If her life force really could be replenished, she didn't want to die so early.
Now that she had changed her way of living, she was very satisfied with this lifestyle.
Unlike before in the Land of Demons, where she was indifferent to life and death, she wanted to continue living now. To live longer.
Seeing no other requests, Kada turned to prepare lunch.
He hadn't taken more than a few steps when suddenly his vision blurred, and a familiar figure landed in front of him.
His reaction was fast; he barely paused.
He imdiately bowed. "Lady Konan, you've returned."
His tone was joyful and excited.
Lady Konan was the backbone of the entire Aerial Fortress.
Only when she returned could everyone feel truly at ease.
"Lady Konan!" Honoka ran over hurriedly.
Shion and Samui also stood up and ca forward to greet her. "Lady Konan."
"Mn." Konan nodded calmly, looking around at everyone. "Did anything happen in the last three days?"
Kada reported, "Lady Konan, the Aerial Fortress has been hovering at high altitude for the past three days without anomaly."
"The subordinates have been taking turns keeping watch, and we haven't spotted any White Zetsu approaching."
Konan nodded to acknowledge the information.
Now that White Zetsu possessed flight capabilities, they posed a new threat to the Aerial Fortress at high altitudes.
Fortunately, the sky was vast enough, and the Sky Ninja Fortress was hidden deep within the sea of clouds, making it difficult to detect.
Kada continued his report. "Lady Konan, Ryuzetsu is leading the newly ford Anbu to the Land of Fire to scout the recent situation in Konoha."
"Intelligence shouldn't be sent back for another few days."
"Good. You've done well," Konan offered a word of encouragent.
Then she walked downwards. "Carry on. I'm going back to my room to rest."
Alex couldn't wait to copy those two Sage Arts, and she also wanted to witness the power of the unique Sage Arts of Ryuchi Cave.
