Blood sprayed violently from Danzo's chest wound.
He coughed up blood, glaring with ferocious eyes at Sasuke—whose hand had just pierced straight through his heart.
Yet, even while dying, Danzo's gaze remained cold and calculating.
"Sasuke, move!"
Shigure's warning echoed a split-second before Sasuke instinctively leapt back.
A kunai sliced through where Sasuke's head had just been—only grazing his cheek.
The Danzo Sasuke had skewered… suddenly dissolved like a fading illusion.
Sasuke touched the cut on his face, stunned.
How was Danzo still alive?
A new figure appeared several ters away—Danzo, intact.
Leaf shinobi watching outside the barrier erupted in confusion.
"W–Was that genjutsu? We saw him take a fatal blow!"
"When did it affect us too?"
"But the barrier is up—how could we be caught in a genjutsu from inside?"
"And we have a Jinchūriki right here! That shouldn't be possible!"
Nothing made sense anymore.
Sasuke narrowed his eyes.
"…What just happened?"
Shigure's lips curved.
"You'll see soon enough."
[Great Sage: Analyzing…]
1%… 2%…
Even the Great Sage struggled to decipher what had occurred.
That alone spoke to the unnatural nature of the Uchiha's forbidden ocular jutsu.
Danzo suddenly tore open the bandages around his right arm.
Gasps erupted everywhere.
Not only was the arm covered in pale Hashirama-like flesh…but dozens of Sharingan stared back from it—blinking open one by one.
Sasuke's Sharingan flared blood-red, veins bulging around his eyes.
Speculation no longer mattered.
Danzo Shimura had grafted the eyes of Sasuke's clan onto his own flesh.
Jiraiya's voice trembled in rage.
"Those are Hashirama's cells… mixed with the Sharingan."
Tsunade's fists clenched, erald chakra flickering faintly around her knuckles.
Her grandfather's body—violated.
Her clan's eyes—desecrated.
Danzo had gone beyond unforgivable.
"Danzo! You deserve to die!"
Danzo glanced toward Tsunade and the watching Konoha forces.
Even ANBU and Root mbers stared at him with horror and revulsion.
He was a monster now—and he knew they saw it.
His voice cracked with bitterness:
"What do you fools understand? Without great power, how would I protect Konoha? This—" he pointed to his grotesque arm
"—is my sacrifice!"
WHOOSH!
Shigure blurred forward—only afterimages remained in his wake.
He leapt high, spinning like a drill of pure light—
CRACK!!
His heel smashed into Danzo's face, distorting it grotesquely and sending him crashing into the barrier so hard the air rippled outward.
Landing lightly, Shigure looked down at him in disgust.
"So gross."
Danzo rebounded off the barrier, snarling—humiliation overwhelming him.
"You brats…! I sacrificed everything for Konoha—and you dare call disgusting?!"
Shigure tilted his head toward Sasuke.
"What do you think?"
Sasuke's reply was ice-cold.
"Disgusting."
Danzo's rage boiled over.
"Very well. I'll send you both to the Pure Land—where you'll never complain again!"
His hands blurred through signs.
Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets!
Invisible slashes of air shot toward Shigure and Sasuke—silent and deadly.
But Sasuke's Sharingan traced every movent with crystal clarity.
I won't let him escape justice again.
On the opposite side, Shigure casually raised his hand, drawing his blade. He swung it through the air—
No chakra enhancent.
No visible jutsu signs.
Only raw physical strength.
Yet his sword strikes clashed cleanly with Danzo's Wind Release bullets, cutting the invisible blasts apart.
Even Sasuke's expression twitched.
He blocked Wind Release… with pure strength?
Shigure's growth was becoming downright terrifying.
"I'll pin him down," Shigure said coldly.
"You finish him."
Before Sasuke could respond, Shigure bent his knees—
—and vanished.
A faint glow pulsed along his body as he accelerated, bursts of light flickering under his feet with every movent. Each flash propelled him forward, making him move like a blur, like light itself bending around him.
Sasuke watched sharply.
He's generating thrust with every step… precise, directional chakra release.
No wasted movent.
No delay.
Even for a Sharingan user, the level of control Shigure displayed was monstrous.
Shigure closed in—
He drew Zangetsu, his sword carving arcs of silver light.
Danzo barely saw the attack before—
SPLASH!
His grotesque right arm was severed at the shoulder.
THUD!
Two brutal strikes buried into his abdon, crushing muscle and bone. Blood sprayed from Danzo's lips as he staggered backward, breath ragged.
Cold sweat gathered on his brow.
Shigure's speed and strength were far beyond human.
"Chidori Stream—"
Sparks erupted along Sasuke's body.
"Chidori Blade!"
Lightning surged down the length of his sword as he dashed past Danzo.
SHNK!
The blade pierced through Danzo's neck—a deadly, precise killing strike.
Blood trickled down the edge of the sword—
But Danzo's hand shot up, grabbing Sasuke's lightning-covered blade even as it scorched his flesh.
He looked into Sasuke's eyes—
—and smiled, blood spilling from his mouth.
Shigure's expression darkened.
"…This is bad."
