Han's pale beast-like pupils trembled violently as he heard Yagami mocking him.
At this point, he already understood the difference between them.
Even with Roshi fighting beside him, the two of them had still been crushed head-on.
Now Roshi was down, and Han was the only one left.

The greater the transformation, the easier it beca to lose oneself to the tailed beast's hatred.
Once that balance collapsed, the seal would break apart completely, and what remained would no longer be Han—
but a monster driven by pure destruction, one that wouldn't hesitate to turn even on its own village.
And for Han, three tails was already the absolute limit of what his sanity could endure.
"Hah…"
After a long, heavy exhale, Han opened his mouth and released a stream of white, murky breath.
Then his gaze locked onto Yagami again.
Slowly, the three tails gathered forward, converging in front of his forehead.
Red chakra and blue chakra began to condense there, layer by layer, like droplets gathering into a single point.
Before long, a sphere of highly concentrated chakra began to take shape.

Yagami lifted his right leg slightly.

Puzzled, Inuzuka Tsumuji reached down and rubbed the ninja hound's neck.
But Kurogane only whimpered anxiously, its limbs shaking as it stubbornly refused to move.
Sensing the fear coming from his ninja hound, Tsumuji raised his head and looked toward the battlefield.
In the distance, Yagami and Han stood hundreds of ters apart, both gathering power.
It was obvious at a glance that the two of them were preparing attacks on an entirely different level.
Even before the attacks were released, the stones scattered across the ground around them had already begun trembling and lifting under the pressure of their chakra.
"Kurogane, get back! Now!!!"
The mont he saw that, Tsumuji's expression changed, and he shouted at once.
Neither attack had even been launched yet, and the sheer pressure alone was already distorting the battlefield.
He didn't even want to imagine what would happen once they actually collided.

"Co on now. I've been waiting all this ti," Yagami said, raising his leg higher and pointing it directly at Han. "Don't disappoint ."
Han said nothing.
His expression remained savage and tense.
Then, after lowering his head and locking onto Yagami—
he fired.
"BOOM—!!!"
The Tailed Beast Bomb shot forward like a black teor, tearing through the air with enough speed to shatter the sound barrier twice over.
Where it passed, the earth was ripped apart by the violent shockwave, a straight trench being carved into the battlefield.
At the exact sa instant—
"Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?"
Yagami's leg snapped forward.
A brilliant laser, thick as a bowl and blazing with dazzling golden light, burst out from his kick and shot straight toward the incoming Tailed Beast Bomb.
It was even faster than the Tailed Beast Bomb itself.
The earth below was torn open by the pressure alone, another deep trench splitting across the battlefield.
"Bzzzzzz—!!!!"
In less than a blink, the two attacks crossed hundreds of ters and slamd into each other.
The entire battlefield fell into a strange, unnatural silence.
At the center of the clash, countless white rays of light flickered wildly, like stars being born and extinguished in an instant.
Everyone on both sides of the battlefield held their breath.
No one spoke.
No one moved.
All eyes were fixed on that point of collision, where the flashing white light only grew brighter and brighter.
And then—
"RUUUUMBLE—!!!"
The silence shattered.
A deafening explosion erupted across the battlefield.
Orange-red flas and golden light tore into each other violently at the center of the blast, devouring everything around them.
A massive mushroom cloud, hundreds of ters wide, surged upward and pierced straight through the clouds.
The shockwave swept out in all directions.
The ground split.
Rocks and dirt were hurled away like toys.
A violent windstorm blasted outward from the center of the explosion, roaring across the battlefield with enough force to uproot every tree within a hundred ters.
Even Roshi's unconscious body, lying off to the side, was blown away by the aftermath.
"Kurogane! Use Fang Over Fang—dig, now!!"
Tsumuji's voice turned shrill as he scread the order.
He had thought retreating several dozen ters would be enough.
But the scene in front of him looked less like a clash between shinobi and more like a natural disaster.
There was no ti to care about dignity anymore.
The mont Kurogane drilled into the ground, Tsumuji threw himself down and crawled into the hole right behind him.
A heartbeat later, the raging blast of wind scread across the surface above them.
One man and one hound barely escaped being swallowed by the aftermath.
