Inoiki controlled all those giant shuriken-shaped blades with his psychokinesis, and he was about to send them flying toward Kabuto. But suddenly, his expression changed. Similarly, the smile on Kabuto’s face, the smirk that had been there the entire ti, disappeared as well.
Both of them had felt it.
A huge chakra pressure was rising from the Third Division battlefield. It was so overwhelming that even normal ninjas who were not sensory types could feel it in the air. The enormous surge of chakra spread across the battlefield like a storm, pressing down on everyone.
A cold wind passed through the area as the ground beneath them seed to tremble faintly.
Inoiki, using his sensory technique, Observation Haki, was able to tell exactly who it was. It was none other than Obito, and this huge chakra pressure rising must be from the Ten-Tails.
This ans the Ten-Tails had started to revive.
Naruto was totally fine, so Obito had not been able to obtain Naruto’s chakra. If he was able to revive the Ten-Tails, then it must be by using the reanimated Kinkaku and Ginkaku brothers. After all, they possessed the Nine-Tails’ chakra within them.
So that was his plan...
At that ti, Kabuto looked toward Inoiki and said, "It seems that I was used as a distraction."
Inoiki also knew what Kabuto was talking about, and he imdiately understood Obito’s plan. Obito had been waiting for him and Kabuto to fight. Once both of them beca occupied, with Inoiki focusing all his attention on defeating Kabuto, removing the reanimated ninjas, and sending them back to the Pure World, that would be the perfect mont for Obito to act.
After all, Kabuto was not so weak person. He was an extrely dangerous opponent, especially after his transformation into this non-human, non-animal snake dragon.
Inoiki sighed, knowing that the process was already in motion and that the revival of the Ten-Tails could no longer be stopped. And now that he had already started fighting Kabuto, he could not simply leave him here. If Kabuto escaped, then maybe he might even be able to evade his senses, and that would be bad.
Kabuto was a genius. There was always a chance that he might devise so other thod to control the reanimated ninjas without having direct contact with them through those chakra lines that could only be felt by powerful ninjas.
Inoiki looked toward Kabuto and said, "I wasn’t planning to use my full strength against you, as it was not that necessary. I could have controlled you even in a slower fight, but it seems that I have to hurry now."
After saying this, Inoiki no longer held back.
Using his psychokinesis, he imdiately seized control of Kabuto’s body.
Kabuto instantly felt as if he was being held down by an invisible force. The air around him beca unnaturally thick, almost suffocating, and the space around him itself seed to lock into place.
The ground beneath Kabuto cracked slightly.
Kabuto imdiately used his full strength, and even then, he was barely able to move. Veins bulged across his face as he forced his muscles to respond, his body trembling under the pressure. At the sa ti, he decided to struggle fiercely.
The snake protruding from his abdon soon morphed into Orochimaru’s snake face.
Its jaws opened wide with a disturbing hiss, and the force behind the technique was enormous as it imdiately shot forward to attack Inoiki.
Inoiki looked toward Kabuto and said, "From the mont this war began, I haven’t used my full strength. You don’t really think that I was fighting at my full strength, do you?"
After saying this, Inoiki disappeared.
In the very next mont, he appeared right beside the giant Orochimaru-faced snake that had been rushing toward him.
Kabuto’s eyes widened.
Not only had Inoiki appeared beside Orochimaru’s snake face, but his sword had already entered directly into its open mouth.
Then, without hesitation, Inoiki swung his sword.
This was not so simple sword swing.
Using his psychokinesis, Inoiki created a cut in space itself.
The entire body of Orochimaru’s snake form was instantly severed apart. The slash did not stop there. Kabuto himself was also cut across the abdon area, and even the cave around them was split apart by that terrifying spatial severance.
For a brief mont, the entire cave seed to freeze.
Then the walls cracked apart.
Massive lines spread through the stone, the ground split open, and huge chunks of rock crashed down from above with deafening force. Dust and shattered debris filled the air.
When Inoiki cut through space with his sword, he had basically used his psychokinesis to forcefully create a severance in the area around his blade. Wherever the sword traced, space itself folded in half and split apart.
And because of that severance, for the briefest instant, a thin black line appeared in the air.
A single black line.
It was difficult to notice in the dimly lit cave, but that black line was the wound in space itself.
Then, just as quickly as it appeared, it healed on its own.
After severing space itself, Inoiki had technically already defeated Kabuto.
For the first ti since the beginning of his battle with Inoiki, Kabuto was truly horrified.
Until now, he had been confident that he could definitely defeat Inoiki. But now, that possibility seed completely out of reach. The way Inoiki had cut space itself had caught Kabuto entirely off guard.
Kabuto had never expected that Inoiki, with his ability to directly teleport from one location to another similar to the Flying Thunder God Technique, a space-ti ninjutsu, would also be able to sever space itself.
That was sothing entirely different.
And with this, Kabuto was definitely defeated.
Even if he wanted to resist desperately, what was the use? Inoiki was already standing directly in front of him, holding him by the neck.
At the sa ti, all those different blades that had been floating around combined together once more, forming Inoiki’s giant sword again.
Without wasting another second, Inoiki, while still holding Kabuto by the neck, disappeared from Kabuto’s base.
The cave vanished around them.
In the next instant, Inoiki appeared directly in front of Itachi, who was resisting the attacks of Dan Kato and his spiritual techniques.
Without ceremony, Inoiki threw Kabuto down in front of Itachi.
Dust rose from the ground.
Inoiki then said, "Leave all that. Deal with him first. What do you need? Should I hold him or sothing?"
Itachi looked toward Kabuto for a brief mont, then nodded.
"It will be for the best if you can hold him."
Inoiki nodded after hearing this.
Holding Kabuto from the back of the neck, he forced Kabuto’s half-cut body upright. Kabuto’s severed abdon was already healing automatically. Flesh, scales, and muscles twisted together unnaturally as his body regenerated at an alarming speed.
But Inoiki did not care.
Kabuto’s body was already under his total control.
After forcing Kabuto to look directly toward Itachi, Inoiki did not simply stand there.
The giant sword that had also been teleported here by Inoiki suddenly broke apart once more, transforming into around a hundred flying knives.
All of those flying knives were covered in crackling lightning.
The air around them buzzed sharply.
Then, in the very next second, all those knives shot across the battlefield at a speed surpassing that of lightning.
The ninjas fighting against the White Zetsu and the reanimated shinobi were only able to see sky-blue streaks of light flashing across the battlefield.
Wherever those streaks passed, the heads of the White Zetsu would explode apart.
For the reanimated ninjas, their chest areas, arms, or legs would be completely destroyed, making it much easier for the shinobi fighting them to restrain them.
And they imdiately did so.
Sealing squads quickly moved into action and started sealing the reanimated ninjas one after another.
With Inoiki’s presence on the battlefield, the battlefield that had been filled with chaos suddenly ca completely under control.
