After dinner, Kyoshin gathered the squad for a eting. "The mission is basically complete. Once Ishida finishes his business tomorrow, we'll escort him back to Iwagakure, and the mission will be over."
Deidara grinned and complained, "This is seriously boring. We ca all this way just to sell so junk. Makes want to blow all his cargo sky-high!"
After hearing that, Kyoshin actually felt a sense of relief.
This counted as one of Deidara's friendlier states.
If it were the original version of him, he'd already be thinking about blowing people up instead.
Kyoshin ignored the remark and continued, "A ninja's training requires constant effort. We can't afford to slack off today either."
"Next, I'm going to teach you all one of the most basic abilities."
He paused for a mont, glanced at everyone, and asked, "Who here still can't tree climb or water walk?"
Deidara chuckled. "That's kid stuff!"
He had once received a scroll from Kyoshin on chakra control training, so tree climbing and water walking were things he'd already practiced.
Kurotsuchi's education had also included those fundantals.

Kyoshin nodded. "I know you don't like people telling you what to do. Unless they're as strong as Lord Tsuchikage."
Deidara's heart skipped a beat, and a bad feeling instantly crept over him.
"Then let's fight again."
Kyoshin's eyes shifted into scarlet Sharingan. The three tomoe rotated slowly within his pupils before converging toward the center, rging into an utterly black circle that looked strangely ominous.
Deidara beca a little excited after hearing that. "Alright! Hm... what's that?"
Then he frowned and glanced at the nearby inn. "We should probably move farther away first. I don't want to end up with nowhere to sleep tonight."
Kyoshin crossed his arms. "No need. Just attack however you like."
"Quit looking down on ! Hm!" Deidara instantly exploded in anger, one hand reaching into the pouch at his waist for clay.
But at the sa mont, an overwhelming pressure crashed in from all directions, swallowing Deidara like a tidal wave.

Deidara's eyes widened. Sweat seeped from his forehead, his heart felt like it was about to leap out of his throat, and his body beca frighteningly stiff.

Kyoshin closed his Sharingan, and his expression softened.

"Then is there anything you dislike about it?"
