Now reading: Chapter 55 55 from Naruto: Lost to Hinata on Purpose, and Now Everything's a Mess, a Action novel by UzumakiKushina21.

Kakashi, Yamato, and Guy were the first to charge toward the trio labeled A, B, and C.

Normally, Jōnin-level battles didn't escalate too intensely from the start—but this ti was different. The three enemies all specialized in taijutsu, reinforced with ninjutsu, making them especially dangerous.

The intensity was imdiate.

Kakashi had already activated his Sharingan at the beginning of the fight.

The clash between the six of them was fierce and destructive. Within minutes, the nearby buildings were reduced to rubble under the force of their attacks.

"Boom—!"

At that mont, four other figures approached from the east, west, north, and south, heading straight for Riku and Yugao.

"I didn't expect our targets to be a Genin and a kunoichi," the man from the East sneered. "How ridiculous. But since you're so eager to die, we'll oblige you first."

East and West charged toward Riku. The talismans on their bodies glowed ominously.

A sharp rise in chakra followed—both of them reached elite Chūnin or even Special Jōnin levels in a flash.

Yugao drew her katana in a smooth arc and rushed forward to intercept them.

Riku, anwhile, glanced calmly at the figures approaching from the North and South. "So you two are my opponents," he murmured.

The North and South shinobi had remained silent the entire ti, but Riku could sense their strength. Their movents were synchronized—they were clearly a coordinated unit.

A red glint flashed in both of their eyes as the talismans on their bodies lit up.

Their chakra surged rapidly.

"Oh?" Riku muttered. "That spike in chakra... It's comparable to a Jōnin's. And they're still in control—not swallowed by the curse seal. Impressive."

His insight startled the pair. How could this boy know about the seal's side effects?

Without a word, both drew their blades—twin katanas glinting under the fading sun.

"A matched pair," Riku comnted, smiling slightly.

The mont he finished speaking, both shinobi vanished.

Clang!

Riku blocked South's slash—but the blade from North slipped past his defenses, piercing straight toward his heart with terrifying speed.

Blood sprayed.

From a distance, Yugao's eyes widened. She had been locked in fierce battle with East and West but couldn't help crying out in shock.

"Riku—!"

But in the next instant, Riku's body vanished into a puff of white smoke.

Zzt—!

A crackle of lightning burst behind North.

Riku reappeared silently, his chakra blade—Raijin—piercing straight through North's chest from behind.

Blood erupted as North gasped in disbelief. Not only had he failed to kill Riku, but he hadn't even registered the boy's movent.

Struggling for breath, North turned to South with a desperate whisper: "Watch out... this guy's not normal..."

Then silence.

Riku withdrew the blade with a wet squelch, letting North's body collapse limply at his feet. The red-stained Raijin dripped with blood.

He raised his eyes and locked onto South.

"You're next," he said calmly. "But here's a tip: never underestimate a shinobi just because of his age."

South's expression shifted. Without hesitation, he ford a rapid string of hand signs.

"Limit Release!"

He ignited his own chakra.

South had imdiately recognized that Riku was out of his league. To defeat soone who could take out North so easily, he needed to go all in.

If it ant dying, then he would take Riku with him.

"RAAAAH!"

South roared as the chakra within him exploded outward. His muscles swelled, eyes bloodshot, veins bulging—his speed and reaction ti spiked dramatically. His body was now burning chakra at an unsustainable rate, similar to when Might Guy opened the Eight Inner Gates.

Across from him, Riku didn't even flinch.

"Your chakra level just surged to Elite Jōnin," he observed, "and your body's keeping up... Interesting. But based on the nature of this technique, you must have killed at least 5,000 people to unlock it."

It was a chilling assessnt.

South didn't respond. He blasted forward, leaving sonic cracks in his wake.

"Die!"

He was in front of Riku in a blink, throwing a thunderous punch aid at Riku's chest.

The shockwave alone ripped through the air.

Riku's eyes narrowed. "Taijutsu? Let's see if you can overpower ."

He t the punch head-on.

BOOM—!

The force of their clash shattered the ground beneath them. A crater over ten ters wide ford instantly, and the surrounding terrain was reduced to rubble.

South collapsed to the ground monts later, blood pouring from his mouth, bones shattered.

Riku stood over him, completely calm.

"Not enough," he said. "You don't have what it takes to shake —not in taijutsu. Your explosive strength is decent, but still far from my level."

This was Riku's true area of expertise: raw physical power.

Even without augnting techniques, his chakra-enhanced strength was nearly on par with Tsunade's fad monstrous strength.

Without another word, he raised a hand.

A bolt of lightning arced through the air.

Zzt—!

The spear of chakra shot into South's chest, vaporizing his heart and leaving a blackened hole the size of a bowl.

South never even scread.

Two enemies down.

East and West, still locked in battle with Yugao, hadn't even noticed what had just happened.

After knocking Yugao back with a heavy punch, the two turned toward Riku simultaneously.

"Seal Release!"

They both ignited their chakra without hesitation, sacrificing their lifespan for power.

They knew—anyone who could wipe out North and South so quickly was soone far beyond their current level.

Yugao, now bleeding and exhausted, was barely holding on. She hadn't been able to handle even one of them, much less both at once.

She tried to rush toward Riku to help, but the enemy's movents were far too fast.

In the blink of an eye, East and West were charging toward Riku.

But Riku remained still.

He raised two fingers.

"Lightning Style: Thunder Spear."

Crack—!

Two spears of pure lightning shot from his body like javelins.

They pierced through East and West's bodies before they could even reach him.

Their montum carried them forward.

Just as they were about to hit Riku—

Zzzzzz-BOOM!

The lightning arcs surrounding his body exploded outward.

Their bodies disintegrated instantly—reduced to ash.

The electrical storm surrounding Riku crackled violently, lighting up the battlefield with flashes of blue.

Within a ten-ter radius of Riku, arcs of lightning danced across the rubble, scorching the earth.

Yugao stared in horror, her body covered in goosebumps.

It wasn't just awe—it was raw, primal fear.

The sheer force of the lightning surrounding Riku triggered every survival instinct she had. She had never seen chakra used like this—not even by Kakashi.
