A wasn't angry at all. Instead, he smiled arrogantly. "You'll know whether you deserve it or not."

With that, he launched a fierce assault on Riku.

His speed was so fast, it turned into a blur of light.

Riku narrowed his eyes, brought his hands together, and roared, "Wood Style: Deep Forest Ergence!"

The mont Riku made the hand sign, both Yamato and Kakashi were completely stunned.

"Wood Style?!" they shouted in unison.

Kakashi had only been speculating earlier, but now it was confird.

Even Yugao was completely shocked. "No wonder Riku asked us to keep this a secret before…"

As Riku completed the jutsu, several saplings burst from the ground, rapidly expanding into towering trees. Thick vines whipped toward A with terrifying speed.

Crack!

A, who had been mid-charge, was suddenly caught mid-air by dozens of massive vines that wrapped around him in an instant.

"Argh!"

With A now restrained, Riku let out a roar and began pouring out all the chakra in his body.

Boom!

In the blink of an eye, the massive trees expanded even further, their trunks swelling to more than ten ters wide. Their branches and leaves flourished, and countless vines coiled tighter around A's body.

Dozens more massive trees erupted from the earth, surrounding the initial ones. They looked like towering warriors, wrapping around A continuously. No matter how violently he struggled, the chakra in his body was slowly being drained.

"Aaaagh!"

A tried to break free, but even as he roared, his chakra continued to be sucked away.

His chakra reserves were at peak Kage-level—but these trees could even drain the chakra of tailed beasts. What was a Kage-level ninja compared to that?

Crackle!

At that mont, Riku launched a bolt of lightning that shot more than 20 ters across the battlefield, striking A directly. Though the trees absorbed part of the attack, the bolt pierced through the chakra armor and struck A's chest dead-on.

The searing pain twisted A's face into a grimace. Looking at Riku standing calmly in the distance, he roared, "I'm not done yet!"

But that ant nothing to Riku.

He stood there, composed and unwavering.

As A's chakra continued to be drained, the hundreds of towering trees expanded even further, eventually forming a vast forest.

This alone showed the vast difference between Riku's Wood Style and Yamato's.

Currently, Riku lacked the imnse chakra of the First Hokage and had not studied Wood Style systematically. In fact, he had learned this technique simply by secretly observing Yamato.

Yamato, anwhile, stood frozen in place, completely stunned.

"Riku actually mastered Wood Style… Could the kekkei genkai he fused really be Wood Style?"

He couldn't believe it. Aside from himself, soone else had mastered Wood Style?

In theory, fusing bloodline limits was possible, but that didn't an it was actually achievable.

The ninja world was filled with bloodline limits, but most were genetic—manifesting only after countless failed fusions and generations of trial and error.

Yet Riku had done it—and with the most difficult one: Wood Style.

This ant Konoha now had another ninja who had awakened the Wood Release.

Yamato walked over, placed a hand on Riku's shoulder, and smiled. "I didn't think you'd actually pull it off. You must've gone through hell to get here."

Yamato knew better than anyone the price of awakening a bloodline limit.

He himself had gone through countless brushes with death before he could wield Wood Style.

Out of dozens of children experinted on, he was the only survivor.

Riku smiled quietly, saying nothing.

Kakashi and Yugao also stepped forward and joined them.

Yugao imdiately pulled Riku into a hug. "You won," she whispered, her voice filled with relief.

She had been so worried just monts ago.

Riku gently patted her back and smiled. "Of course I won, Sister Yugao."

Yamato laughed. "When I get the chance, I'll give you a copy of the Wood Style training materials. Danzo once gave a set—I didn't master everything, but you probably can. Honestly, I think your Wood Style is better than mine."

"I saw it just now—your Wood Style can absorb chakra just like Lord First Hokage's."

"To be more precise, your Wood Style is the sa as his. The only difference is that your chakra pool isn't as massive, and you haven't had enough training in it yet."

Riku paused, surprised that Yamato would offer the materials so freely.

He had been planning to browse so Wood Style techniques from the Forbidden Scroll when he got back.

Kakashi smiled and said, "Don't worry—I'll make sure this whole incident is handled discreetly. No one else will know you've awakened Wood Style."

He knew this was what concerned Riku the most.

Riku grinned. "As expected of you, Kakashi-sensei—you always get ."

Yugao gently wiped the dirt from Riku's face, took off her cloak, and draped it over his shoulders.

His clothes had been nearly torn apart during the battle.

Yugao treated Riku like a real older sister would—she had been by his side for years now.

anwhile, on Guy's side of the battlefield, C had just defeated Guy.

Guy had tried to open the Seventh Gate, but his body couldn't withstand the strain, and he was eventually overwheld.

Now C turned to look in Riku's direction.

"What the hell just happened? That kid… he actually took down A? That's impossible."

C couldn't believe it. How could that boy defeat A?

A was the strongest among them. He even had the secret soul-burning technique…

"It looks like there's no choice now. I might as well try to take him down. I'm going to die anyway."

With that thought, C unleashed all his remaining chakra and charged straight at Riku.

He hoped to catch Riku off guard.

But Riku's reflexes weren't sothing C—now exhausted—could match.

Standing in front of Yugao, Riku quickly ford hand signs.

"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Fla Bullet!"

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"

The combination of Wind and Fire was already a deadly B-rank combo. The Fire Dragon Fla Bullet alone was devastating—but with Wind Style added, its power was magnified several tis over.

BOOM!

BOOM!

Before C could even react, a massive fireball—over ten ters in size—shot toward him like a teor.

It moved too fast.

He couldn't even raise a defense before he was engulfed in roaring flas.

The sheer impact of the Fire Dragon Fla Bullet was already high, and with Wind Style support, it beca monstrous.

The blast surged forward for hundreds of ters before finally stopping.

When the flas died down, a huge trench—tens of ters wide and stretching hundreds of ters—scarred the battlefield in front of Riku.

C had been reduced to nothing but ash—obliterated without a trace.
