Sasuke stepped forward, glanced at Yakushi Kabuto, and asked, "Did you really gather detailed information on the participants in this Chūnin Exam?"

Kabuto smiled. "Of course. Just na a few, and as long as you confirm their identities, I can bring up their information."

Sasuke thought for a mont. "Then let's see Gaara from Sunagakure, Rock Lee from Konoha, and Hyuga Neji."

After Sasuke spoke, Shikamaru chid in, "And Riku~."

Riku looked at Shikamaru and smiled. "Why investigate ? Wouldn't it be easier to just ask directly?"

Looking a little embarrassed, Shikamaru scratched his head and said, "I just wanted to make sure you're really that strong."

Ino glanced at Riku with a grin. "What? Are you upset?"

Riku shook his head.

In truth, Sasuke had wanted to bring up Riku too—but since they were on the sa team, it felt awkward. Now that Shikamaru had said it, that made things easier.

Naruto, however, was visibly irritated. "All those guys are the ones Sasuke thinks are strong—damn it, what about ?!"

He fud silently. Everyone always focused on Sasuke and overlooked him.

Hearing Shikamaru's suggestion, Kabuto was briefly taken aback, then chuckled. "So you really don't know anything about Riku, huh?"

In truth, Kabuto didn't know much about Riku either. But the information he did have was already enough to shock Sasuke and the others.

He crouched down and laid out four ninja info cards in front of him.

Forming a seal with both hands, he began. "Let's start with Gaara from Sunagakure."

"He's already completed a B-rank mission. Impressive—very few Genin ever get assigned B-rank missions."

"However, since he's from another village, the information available is limited."

Sasuke frowned as he looked at the card. "As I thought, that guy's dangerous."

He knew well how difficult B-rank missions were. They typically involved life-threatening danger and often attracted enemy ninja—just like their earlier mission in the Land of Waves. That mission had definitely been above C-rank difficulty, even if it was originally labeled as such. In reality, it was closer to B-rank.

And if Riku hadn't been there... they might have died.

Completing a B-rank mission unscathed was already impressive. What was even more terrifying was that Gaara had done it alone.

Kabuto moved on. "Next is Rock Lee."

The card displayed Lee's profile.

Kabuto had a good impression of Lee. Though he relied entirely on Taijutsu and lacked ninjutsu or genjutsu ability, his physical prowess was extraordinary.

"Now, Hyuga Neji."

Kabuto pointed to the card, and Neji's stats appeared.

Kabuto looked surprised. "His stats are even higher than Rock Lee's. In fact, among Konoha graduates in recent years, his numbers are the highest."

"As expected of the Hyuga clan."

Hinata looked at the card and smiled softly. "I knew Big Brother Neji was amazing."

Still, it was a sha. As a mber of the branch family, even techniques like the Gentle Fist, Eight Trigrams Palms, and Rotation had all been self-taught. For a ninja from such a prestigious clan, that was pitiful.

They had more resources than most civilian ninja—but less than they should have.

Riku patted Hinata gently on the head. "Looks like your big brother really is sothing."

Hinata looked up at him, her cheeks flushed, and smiled sweetly. "Yeah."

Seeing Hinata act so adorable, Ino felt a surge of jealousy. Damn it, using this mont to act all cute with Riku—Hinata, you're sneakier than you look.

Ino had no idea what Hinata was actually thinking. She was just happy that Riku had praised Neji.

Sasuke frowned. But since he hadn't fought Neji before, nor seen him in action, he didn't have a strong impression and didn't take it too seriously.

Then Kabuto was ready to reveal the last card—Riku's.

Even other students nearby crowded around in anticipation.

Seeing the crowd, Riku frowned slightly, clearly uncomfortable. He knew Kabuto didn't actually have detailed intel on him, but he disliked being stared at like this.

Just as Kabuto was about to flip the card, even Sakura squeezed in to see.

With a puff of smoke, Riku's card was revealed.

When they saw the information, everyone's eyes bulged in disbelief.

"No way… Are you kidding ?!"

Gasps filled the room.

All eyes turned to Riku. None of them could believe it—how could soone like him still be a Genin? Was Konoha insane?

Sasuke stared at the card in shock. A chill crept down his spine.

Kabuto had known about this information in advance, but he pretended to be surprised. "He's only a Genin, yet he's completed an S-rank mission. That's terrifying. And now he's taking the Chūnin Exams… unbelievable."

Sasuke looked over at Riku. He had suspected for a while that Riku was hiding sothing. But seeing it confird still stunned him. "He's done an S-rank mission… No wonder he could kill a Jōnin. Anyone capable of completing an S-rank mission would be strong enough to take down a Jōnin…"

Everyone was in awe.

A twelve-year-old Genin who had completed an S-rank mission? That kind of feat hadn't been seen since the days of the Third Great Ninja War.

Back then, even Kakashi had been promoted to Jōnin at age twelve—and he had led teams on S-rank missions too.

So yes, soone like Riku could exist. But in this peaceful era?

It was unheard of.

Riku wasn't just a prodigy—he was the kind of prodigy who'd stand out even during warti.

Everyone had heard of Kakashi the Copy Ninja, one of the Leaf's most famous geniuses.

But now, looking at the stats, Riku at twelve might actually surpass Kakashi at that age. Of course, it was hard to judge from a data card alone.

Strangely, Riku's stats on the card were labeled with question marks.

Even Kabuto hadn't been able to determine the full extent of Riku's abilities.

Now, every Genin present looked at Riku with a new kind of respect—and fear.

Even the three Oto-nin (Sound Village Genin) who had been planning to attack him quickly scrapped that idea.

They rembered the sheer pressure Riku had radiated earlier—the kind that crushed their will like a weight on the soul. Now it all made sense.

He was a monster.

One thought echoed through everyone's minds:

In the upcoming exam… just don't let him be the opponent.
