"Minato, tell exactly what you were doing," Tsuna says, looking at him while crossing her arms with a questioning look.
Minato had already taken a bath and returned to the place, imdiately leaving as soon as he saw them to avoid being questioned right away and went to the bathroom, he changed his clothes afterward and returned to the kitchen. Although they were relieved that the blood wasn't his, they still looked at him with suspicion, wondering where he had been and with whom he had fought, because that was definitely human blood.
"I was training, then I ca across a group of ninjas from the Wind Country on the South Coast," Minato ended up admitting, there was no reason to hide it after they caught him.
"South Coast? What do you an? It's hundreds of kiloters away," Hanabi comnted, a bit surprised.
"It's true, but I can use the raijin to teleport there," he spoke calmly. "Since I needed to find a very calm place to train and it ended up being the south of the country."
"Well, that's amazing," Mikoto admitted.
"If he said he was facing Ninja from the wind village, then I believe him, Dattebane," Kushina declared.
"Well, anyway, I'm surprised with you. What are you doing here?" Minato finally asked, after all that confusion, seeing that the girls were calr. But still scratched his head wondering since when his house beca so accessible...
"We ca to surprise you. We don't know what will happen next week, but it's quite likely that we will part ways. And we are all your friends, so we decided to do sothing for you. We just didn't imagine that we would find a blood scene," Tsuna said still with a sowhat suspicious look.
"Well, and what are you doing there in the kitchen?" Minato said, feeling grateful for that.
"We were making a cake. Co, let's eat. We were almost done before you arrived," Kushina spoke with a big smile.
Although Mikoto and Hanabi were more reserved, they enjoyed the evening, they ended up serving themselves with the cake made by the girls while they talked and Minato comnted on his current training a bit and listened to the girls, their conversation yielded so laughter, while the five people talked, Minato looked satisfied at the four won. It would be their last tis together, as far as he knows, so he wanted to enjoy it, since, even Hanabi being the person he knows the least there, still, he could consider one of his best bonds. And he had also made a promise to her and intended to fulfill it in the future.
The night went on while the four girls and Minato ate and laughed, until the night finally ended and Minato, at least, took everyone ho. After that, he returned with the Raijin and rested, satisfied.
Minato still continues training, still going to the South Coast, eting Guren, as they continued their training. Then, finally, the week passed and the long-awaited day arrived: the day of the academy approval. Unlike just doing the three basic jutsus, the students, at least, had to do a rank B jutsu to pass, since this was the class that the village invested the most resources in its history and hoped to find a large group of elite jōnin coming out of there in the future.
The morning period started with written exams and the 3 basic jutsu, which everyone did well in. During the midday period, the class was quite united during lunch while they comnted on the next stage.
"Man, doing a B jutsu... when you're 11 years old... that's so problematic..." Shikaku Nara murmured.
"It won't be that difficult..." Chouza Akimichi comnted eating a snack.
"..." Inoichi Yamanaka was silent.
"You always complaining about things, Nara." Tsuna comnted on the side.
The conversation continued, Minato didn't participate much in it, but occasionally talked with them, since he was thinking about other things.
As soon as the class returned, all the children headed to the training field. The teacher Fuuma was waiting with so Jonin and even the Hokage showed up. Doing the classic test of the circuit, Kunai throws, and even a sparing with jutsus like the previous years, all the children perford these tests, with Minato continuing undefeated, Akuma Uchiha ca out of his fight against Minato with a lot of anger after losing again, never even coming close to winning the first in the class.
Then ca the final test, performing a level B jutsu. Despite consuming almost all the children's chakra, and them practically fainting as soon as they perford the jutsus at that age, the vast majority succeeded. Kushina used a large water jutsu, Tsuna perford a great earth jutsu, Hanabi also did a great earth jutsu, and Mikoto perford a great fire jutsu.
Minato was called and executed a series of jutsu creating the chidori in his hand. The lightning appeared, surprising everyone, with the Jonin evaluating him performing a Rank A jutsu, as the only one in the class, while everyone was drawn to the lightning sparking from Minato's hands. Mikoto seed to have been enchanted by the Jutsu, from what Minato noticed.
As soon as the tests were over, the teacher began to distribute the headbands with the leaf symbol with a blue fabric to tie around the head. Minato was satisfied; he had finally beco a ninja, with his maximum score in record ti, feeling finally like a genin with his headband tied on his forehead. He was the best student in Konoha's history, however, the village had no idea of his real power, which pleased him, since he managed to hide it for years, otherwise, he would have big problems if the Hokage or his group of elders had discovered his abilities, as they might see him as a threat.
Minato ended up celebrating with the class, since Chouza Akimichi invited everyone to a large barbecue restaurant. Although he did not have as great a friendship with the class as he did with the girls, he went with them. They celebrated together with the entire class. The next day, they were going to pick up their Jonin teachers. So, all the children were anxious.
Thus, after returning ho late, Minato rested and returned to the academy the next day, already knowing who his teacher would be. Many students were already waiting impatiently, however, one person was missing.
"Where is Kushina, Senju?" Mikoto asked, looking at Tsuna's side, which was empty at that mont.
"She had to be called to sothing else, her situation is a bit different from ours..." Tsuna comnted with a sowhat sad look.
Minato knew why, but stayed silent with a bitter feeling about it. 'I'll see her later...' He murmured internally.
Then, Professor Fuma appeared, "Hello everyone!" He announced almost in tears. "Before we start, as a teacher of this class, almost every year, I am very proud of all of you. You have beco splendid ninjas, a pride of the Village, and will make the Village even prouder in the future, protecting all the people from this place. Rember, the will of fire is strong in all of you, and it won't be long before we hear of your great deeds. So, I am very proud to have been part of your growth. I hope to see you soday when you are in great positions." Fuma started to cry, like a baby and everyone seed to feel sothing for the teacher, since, like it or not, Fuma was a part of everyone's childhood there, almost with a paternal vision.
"Now let's start with the next step..." He said swallowing his tears and began talking about how things happened, about their Jonin and how the teams would be ford. "Now to the teams." He announced, picking up a clipboard with the nas and speaking the first teams.
"Team 1: Chouza Akimichi, Inoichi Yamanaka, and Shikaku Nara." He declared, and Minato was not surprised by the trio.
"That sounds like a lot of work..." Nara comnted as always.
"Team 2: Hizashi Hyuga, Hiashi Hyuga, and Tsu Inuzuka!" Fuuma announced again, and Minato saw it as a team completely geared towards tracking.
The teacher continued announcing the teams until team 6 caught Minato's attention.
"Team 6: Tsuna Senju, ...." Minato did not pay attention to the other mbers, but to Tsuna, who looked not very surprised and exchanged so looks with him.
"Team 7: Mikoto Uchiha, Hanabi Hyuga, and Minato Namikaze!" Minato was surprised with his na declared last, many looked at him at that mont and even murmured how he could be in a team with two girls and it was unfair to all the other boys.
"It looks like we're together..." Mikoto murmured with a certain joy in her tone, and Hanabi didn't seem to dislike the combination, Minato also nodded in satisfaction.
The teams continued to be called, and there ended up being 9 teams instead of 12 due to so students not being able to pass over the years and being transferred out of the elite program.
"With that..." Fuuma lowered the clipboard and looked at everyone, "I can only wish you good luck!" He said while starting to cry again, no longer seeming like a Chunin of the village. "Now, I am leaving. The other teachers will co and call you to take you to a place where you can talk about your future. Goodbye!" He left the room amid tears, and everyone bid him farewell as well.
A mont later, Jonins began to enter the room, calling their team by number. And, at one point, Tsunade Senju, famous in the village, entered and faced all the children who swallowed hard at her gaze, while Minato seed amused by it.
"Team 6, let's go outside!" She declared as an order, and her daughter stood up before nodding one last ti to Minato and leaving with her future teammates.
"Our teacher seems to be the last..." Hanabi murmured, with only 4 teams remaining while more and more Jonins entered the room.
At one point, a pale man entered, and Minato saw Orochimaru looking at him for a mont, which made him a bit uncomfortable with those eyes staring at him; he wasn't the only one, many children were creeped out by the elite Jonin, a while later, he called team 9.
In the end, Hanabi was right as the last team was called, leaving only Minato, her, and Mikoto in the room. A mont later, a person entered, wearing a Jonin vest and with white hair. Minato murmured: "He finally arrived, at least it wasn't as late as Kakashi." He smiled, and Mikoto looked at him before asking: "Who is Kakashi?" Minato just smiled at her "It's nobody special right now..." He said before turning back to Jiraiya staring at them with a fun smile.
Jiraiya, who was already in the middle of the room, pleased, looked at Minato among the girls. "Well, it looks like you are my students, and it looks like we ended up in the sa team, little Minato, what a coincidence..." he says, leaving Minato with a small smile, with this guy pretending ignorance.
He continued speaking to his 3 seated students. "Well, then let's go upstairs, since I want to start with the introductions," he declared. Doing so, he disappeared from the spot, and the 3 future students began to stand up.
