Natsuki and the others smoothly returned to Konoha's main camp in the Land of Rain.
"Natsuki, go directly to Tsunade."
Jiraiya instructed.
Although Natsuki said he had already found inspiration, Jiraiya did not ask further, because he did not know how to make antidotes.
"Alright."
Natsuki nodded.
He also greeted Mikoto, then turned and went to the laboratory where Tsunade was.
"Tsunade-sensei."
Natsuki walked in.
"Is the mission complete?"
Tsunade looked him over twice. After confirming he was indeed uninjured, she nodded slightly and asked.
"It went very smoothly. We've already rescued the captured Konoha ninja."
Natsuki paused for a mont, then said, "When I was fighting Kandachi, I suddenly had so ideas."
"What ideas?"
Tsunade froze slightly and could not help asking.
She had thought the sa as Jiraiya. She had not expected Natsuki to really gain inspiration after going out once.
But inspiration was only inspiration. Whether it would be useful for the antidote was still unknown.
"Using poison against poison."
Natsuki answered.
The Curse Antidote provided by the Gordon Template was essentially a compound made from deadly poisons.
In Black Clover, it also required curse magic and poison magic.
After being localized, the curse magic and poison magic had been removed, leaving only seven deadly poisons.
"You an finding a poison comparable to Hanzō's poison?"
Tsunade shook her head and said, "There is no such deadly poison in the shinobi world."
Using poison against poison was not a new concept to her.
Simply put, so dicinal ingredients were poisonous, but when balanced with other dicinal ingredients, they could be used to save people.
"Multiple poisons can be mixed together."
Natsuki changed the subject and said, "I think this is a possible approach. We can try it."
"It is indeed a feasible approach, but it will require a lot of ti."
Tsunade rubbed her brow and said, "There are many poisons in the shinobi world. Which poisons are needed and how many are needed all have to be tested."
"That can't be helped."
Natsuki comforted her, "Neutralizing Hanzō's poison was never sothing that could be done in a short ti."
Although he already knew the formula, it would not be good to tell Tsunade directly.
Besides, these seven deadly poisons still needed to be refined, and three of them were synthetic poisons.
The most troubleso poison was even related to Chiyo's poison.
Tsunade sighed and said, "It seems it's ti to return to Konoha. This laboratory is too crude and isn't enough for poison testing."
Natsuki nodded.
He had already stayed in the Land of Rain for about a week.
Overall, his gains were quite good.
Not only had he unlocked Kirito's reaction speed, he had also awakened the Gordon Template, which was especially effective against Hanzō.
In a certain sense, it was also especially effective against Chiyo and other puppet users.
Of course, Hanzō, Chiyo, and the others did not rely entirely on poison for their strength.
It was just that without poison, their strength would be greatly reduced.
"There's no ti to lose. We'll go see Orochimaru now."
Tsunade ended the experint and walked outside.
Her antidote experints during this period had all yielded nothing, which was why she had agreed to Natsuki's poison-against-poison experint.
After Orochimaru saw Tsunade and Natsuki, he waved his hand and had the other ninja in the main tent leave.
"Orochimaru."
Tsunade got straight to the point and said, "It will be difficult to make progress on Hanzō's poison in a short ti. We plan to return to Konoha and continue our research there."
"Alright."
Orochimaru nodded and said, "The seriously ill wounded cannot be delayed any longer either. You will escort them back."
As the battlefield commander, he knew the situation with Tsunade's antidote research each day, so he knew what she said was the truth.
"Sensei."
Natsuki suddenly thought of sothing and asked, "Did you extract mories from Kandachi's corpse?"
"Jiraiya is handling that matter. There should be results soon."
Orochimaru answered.
"Maybe his mories contain the antidote formula."
Natsuki guessed.
"I don't think that's very likely."
Tsunade shook her head and said, "Poison is too important to Agakure. Hanzō would not let a second person know the antidote formula."
Natsuki actually thought the sa.
But his main goal was not the antidote formula.
Before long, Jiraiya walked in.
"Any valuable intelligence?"
Orochimaru took the initiative to ask.
"We found out the locations of several Agakure outposts. It will be quite helpful for the upcoming war."
Jiraiya smiled and said, "This rescue mission was very worthwhile."
"No antidote formula?"
Tsunade asked.
"No."
Jiraiya said regretfully.
"Then was there Hanzō's swordsmanship?"
Natsuki blinked and asked.
"There was indeed a set of swordsmanship in his mories."
Jiraiya froze for a mont, then handed him a scroll without much concern and said, "His swordsmanship is here."
"Thank you, Jiraiya-sama."
Natsuki took the scroll and thought to himself that he was one step closer to mastering six kinds of swordsmanship from the shinobi world.
"Although Hanzō's swordsmanship is good, it isn't conventional swordsmanship and doesn't match your habits."
Orochimaru comnted, "Aside from that, the reason his swordsmanship is troubleso is because both he and his weapon carry deadly poison."
Fighting in close quarters against a swordsman whose entire body was poisonous was terrifying just to think about.
"I just want to use it as reference."
Natsuki explained, "I might encounter Hanzō in the future."
"Mm."
Orochimaru said nothing more.
"The matter is temporarily settled. We'll return to Konoha now."
Tsunade said decisively.
"Ah?"
Jiraiya asked in surprise, "You're leaving?"
"Natsuki proposed the idea of using poison against poison. We'll only have the proper conditions to research it after returning to Konoha."
Tsunade explained.
"Using poison against poison?"
Jiraiya took a deep breath and said, "Alright, I'll escort you for a while. I hope you can develop the antidote soon."
Tsunade nodded.
After leaving the main tent, Jiraiya imdiately made arrangents.
Natsuki stood in place and thought for a mont, then decided not to say goodbye to Uchiha Mikoto.
It was warti now, so there was not much to say. Besides, before too long, they would definitely et again in the Land of Rain.
After all the wounded were carried onto stretchers, Tsunade and the others set off for Konoha.
Jiraiya only stopped after escorting them out of the Land of Rain.
Perhaps because of this, their return trip was quite smooth. They did not encounter any Agakure or Sunagakure ninja.
"Take them to Konoha Hospital. Natsuki and I will go to the Hokage's office."
After they arrived in Konoha, Tsunade gave the order.
"Yes, Tsunade-sama."
The other ninja responded, then left with the wounded.
Tsunade and Natsuki soon arrived at the Hokage's office.
After receiving permission, the two walked in.
Tsunade imdiately explained what had happened over the past few days.
"You've already done very well."
Hiruzen nodded, praising them as he said, "As for Hanzō's poison, it would be best if it can be neutralized, but don't force it if it can't."
"I understand."
Tsunade knew that Hiruzen was worried she would get stuck on it, spend a great amount of ti trying to detoxify it, and end up losing more than she gained.
"However, when you have ti, you can try Natsuki's approach."
Hiruzen added, "If there are any poisons that are hard to find, you can ask Anbu for help."
"Alright."
Tsunade did not refuse.
With the village's help, the poison-against-poison experint would be more likely to succeed.
After all, a village had many resources.
"Natsuki killed Kandachi during this mission, which is a great contribution."
Hiruzen said with a smile, "You can ask for a reward or save them for now."
"Thank you, Hokage-sama."
Natsuki imdiately answered, "I don't know what reward I want for now, so I'll save it first."
After the mission report ended, the two returned to Mito's residence.
"You're finally back!"
When Nawaki saw them, he imdiately beca excited.
"Natsuki!"
Kushina jogged over to Natsuki.
Nonō was a step slower, so she could only follow behind her.
Tsunade smiled and did not mind being ignored by the two little girls.
"Did you encounter Hanzō during your trip to the Land of Rain?"
Nawaki asked curiously, "I heard his strength is very powerful, not inferior to the Kage of the Five Great Villages."
"We didn't encounter him."
Natsuki shook his head and said, "But his poison really is powerful. There's currently no way to neutralize it."
"Sis, even you can't neutralize it?"
Hearing this, Nawaki turned to Tsunade with a surprised expression and asked.
"Your sister isn't omnipotent."
Tsunade flicked his forehead and said, "You all keep chatting. I'm going to Konoha Hospital. There are so things I need to do."
"Natsuki, hurry and tell us about this mission!"
Kushina said with great interest, "I've never been to the Land of Rain!"
Natsuki chuckled and roughly told them about the process of this mission.
"Does it rain every day?"
Kushina frowned and said, "That sounds hard to accept."
Occasional rain was fine, but rain every day would indeed make people annoyed.
"Being able to defeat so many enemies is really impressive."
Nawaki said enviously.
"It's fine. After one more sester, we'll beco official ninja."
Natsuki said with a smile, "When that ti cos, even if you don't want to go out on missions, it'll be hard not to."
"I hope my teammates are all of you."
Kushina said expectantly.
Nawaki wanted to speak, but in the end, he said nothing.
As the Kyūbi Jinchūriki, there was a high chance Kushina would not be allowed to have teammates.
After chatting for a while, everyone continued training.
Although winter vacation was already halfway over, half of it still remained.
Natsuki's plan was to learn Hanzō's swordsmanship and Water Formation Wall.
He ford hand seals with both hands and created a shadow clone.
The shadow clone went to learn Water Formation Wall from Nawaki.
He opened the scroll Jiraiya had given him.
Hanzō's swordsmanship was actually sowhat similar to Mifune's swordsmanship, with speed as its focus.
The only difference was that the weapon he used was a sickle attached to a chain.
Natsuki had seen Salamander Shintatsu's sickle before, so he could project it.
Besides, he was learning Hanzō's swordsmanship only to et the unlock condition of a character template ability.
When fighting, he definitely would not use it.
(To be continued.)
