Who hasn't daydread of terrorists invading their school?

Okay, that ca out wrong.

Those early sumr days right before sumr vacation, at the start of the school year, really did lend themselves well to daydreaming. The sweltering heat, the clear skies, the mind-numbing lessons… Who wouldn't stare out the window and imagine themselves heroically saving their classmates from a squad of trained gunn or from a crazed maniac swinging a sword? And getting a kiss from the most beautiful girl in school as a reward…

The situation Sakura now found herself in wasn't all that different— except she was now the most beautiful girl in school, and her "classmates" would be just as eager to kill her as the terrorists.

"…hang on, where are you going?" Sakura yelled at the trio of Suna-nin walking away from her. "Haven't you co here to steal our scroll? Stay here and fight us!"

A few hours after the exam had started, a squad of Suna Genin had shown up to check them out— one big-breasted kunoichi, one tall and gaunt ninja, and one Calvin Klein model.

Following the flow of Sakura's inner monologue, one might have thought they'd take advantage of Team Asuma's mont of weakness to attack— but instead, they'd just laughed… and then they'd just turned on their heels and walked off, without even checking if they were in possession of the scroll they needed.

"Water…" groaned Chōji. "So… thirsty. So… hot…"

Chōji was still plastered to the inner side of the wall encircling the Demon Desert, completely immobilised. Unfortunately for him, the adhesive web Sakura had accidentally produced had baked under the desert sun and hardened into sothing harder and tougher than tempered steel.

"I told you not to eat so many salty snacks this morning!" snapped Ino. "There's no more water, you drank it all already!"

By noon, a faint sll of bacon had started wafting from Chōji's body, probably from the sun slowly turning him into crispy pork. Or maybe he had a sausage in his pocket, and he was happy to see Sakura?

"The barking of a defeated dog," snorted the Sand kunoichi, who was visibly her team's leader. "I heard your team was composed of two dics, so I wasn't expecting much… but I wouldn't have imagined that you wouldn't make it even two steps past the starting line before losing to another team!"

Apparently, their opponents thought Chōji's situation was the work of a rival team, rather than being self-inflicted— which, sohow, was a bit less humiliating.

"What makes you think this isn't so trap we've cooked up to lure you in?" Sakura desperately called out at them. "I swear we still have our scroll, just co and get it! You can trust us! We're totally trying to lure you into a trap!"

Sakura would've gladly seized the Sand team's scroll right there and then, but the problem was they were out of her effective range. If she could just lure them a little closer, beat them up and take their scroll…

Hopefully, if it was the one her team needed, she'd be able to wrap up the second phase of the exams and finally move on to the real task Lady Tsunade had entrusted her with…

"So, for the past 30 minutes, when you were trying to pry the fatso out of there… was that all part of this devious trap of yours?" the thin man sniggered. "If so, points for dedication, very realistic performance…"

It was at that mont Sakura realised the Suna team had gone from three mbers to two. Where had the pretty boy gone…?

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING FAT!?" roared Chōji. "I'M PLEASANTLY PLUMP— SUPER MULTI-SIZE JUTSU!"

Unfortunately for Chōji, he needed to make a seal with both of his hands to perform that particular Jutsu.

After hours of carefully chiselling at the concrete-like webs binding him to the wall with the Chakra Scalpel Jutsu, Sakura and Ino had only managed to free up one of his arms, so there wasn't much he could do apart from shaking his enlarged fist nacingly. Apparently, he didn't need to perform hand signs to perform the Partial Multi-Size Jutsu any more, which was convenient.

"Look!" shouted Sakura, reaching into her cleavage and pulling out a heaven scroll. "Is this the one you people need?"

And with that, Sakura whirled around on the spot and took a swing at what looked like empty air behind her… and her fist connected with sothing invisible.

"Did you seriously think I didn't see you sneaking up behind ?" said Sakura smugly, her eyes turning crimson. "Your shoddy Transparency Jutsu can't escape these two eyes of mine!"

She could see a man's outline shimring in front of her as clear as day.

No matter how lightly her opponent stepped on the dusty soil underfoot, no matter how the technique bent the sunlight around him to make him look see-through… as long as there was chakra involved, the Sharingan would see it as colours!

The invisible man turned visible once again. Sand swirled around his fists, forming into constructs: a sand hamr and a sand shield. Looked sturdy— but ultimately pointless.

"Th-those eyes!" the pretty boy stamred. "What—"

"Made you look," said Sakura sweetly, the twin tomoe in her pupils rotating rapidly. "Good night!"

The boy's eyes rolled back in their sockets, and he crumpled into a heap at Sakura's feet. He had made the fatal mistake of looking into an Uchiha's eyes. It was no wonder they said you should never face a mber of the Uchiha clan without backup— one glance was all it took!

"Kōji!" yelled the kunoichi in alarm. "What's wrong!?"

And now, Team Asuma had the upper hand— in the second phase of the Chūnin exams, either every mber of the team passed, or no one did. Mr K-pop star's teammates couldn't just leave him behind and run off with the scroll; even if they reached the central area with both the Earth and Heaven scrolls, they'd still fail on a technicality.

"Multi-Size Jutsu!"

While Sakura was fighting the invisible man, Ino had run up to Chōji and lent him her fingers, so that he could complete the Super Multi-Size Jutsu. The earth shook as he expanded, crushing the wall behind him under his weight as he outstripped the structure in height.

The two remaining Suna Genin blanched in fear as Chōji lood over them.

"Shishio!" the kunoichi barked at the gaunt man.

"On it, Ano!" Shishio stamred. "Polarised Sand Formation: Hot Sand Camouflage Jutsu!"

The two Sand-nin's figures grew hazy like a mirage, and they quickly turned transparent.

"Sakura, you can still see them, right? I'm going to link our minds to yours!" yelled Ino, who was hanging onto Chōji's shoulder for dear life. "Mind Body Transmission Jutsu!"

Ding! Mind reading attempt detected. Deploying counterasures!

"Is there sothing wrong with your head!?" Ino howled, as an unstoppable torrent of images poured into her and Chōji's minds. "Sakura, quit thinking about lewd things!"

"I can't, my mind does that on its own!" said Sakura helplessly. "Cut off the connection!"

If there was one thing her System was good for, it was preventing people from reading her thoughts… and only that. Other than helping power up the Host, its next greatest priority was preserving the secret of transmigration, and it would go to any lengths to stop the truth from coming out!

In other words… if Ino took over Sakura's body, the System wouldn't care. But if she tried reading her mind, then it would retaliate!
