"You know … and you ca here specifically," Orochimaru's hoarse voice slithered through the air.

His lips curled into a smile, tongue darting out to lick them. His snake-like gaze fixed on Obito's white mask.

Obito's voice was steady. "Yes. I sought you out. It wasn't easy, your bases are scattered everywhere, especially around Konoha. Who knows how many more you've hidden?"

"Then why?" Orochimaru's eyes narrowed.

"Why co to ?"

"I have sothing in mind. I wonder if one of the Legendary Sannin would be interested in a deal."

"A deal…?" Orochimaru let out a cold laugh.

"Let's see if you're even worth negotiating with."

His hand shot up.

Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!

Several pythons burst from his sleeves, fangs bared as they lunged.

Obito's hand crackled with lightning. With a flick, countless sharp thunder needles shot forth.

Chidori Senbon!

In an instant, the snakes were pierced and nailed to the earth at Orochimaru's feet.

"Oh…?" Orochimaru grinned, intrigued.

From the shadows, two massive snakes slithered forward, striking from both sides.

Obito didn't flinch. Lightning spread across his body in a blazing aura.

Chidori Nagashi!

The snakes froze mid-strike, convulsing as electricity surged through them. Seconds later, they collapsed, smoking and charred.

Obito raised two fingers, pointing directly at Orochimaru. Lightning condensed into a blade at his fingertips.

Chidori Eisō!

The spear of lightning shot forward, piercing Orochimaru's head. The body crumbled into dirt.

"Enough gas," Obito said flatly.

Behind him, a whisper of movent. Orochimaru's real body lunged like a serpent, blade clenched between his teeth, aiming for Obito's heart.

Obito's scarlet Sharingan glowed beneath his mask as he turned slightly, eting Orochimaru's strike with calm indifference.

Orochimaru froze, eyes widening. The blade hovered just an inch from Obito's back.

"Had enough?" Obito murmured.

Clicking his tongue, Orochimaru swallowed the blade back into his throat. A grin spread across his face.

"Anyone who seeks out always talks of deals. Naturally, I must test their worth."

"And now?" Obito asked, eyes narrowing. "Do you think I qualify?"

"Heh… you do." Orochimaru's gaze lingered greedily on the crimson eyes staring back at him.

"So, you're Uchiha."

"Don't get any ideas." Obito's voice hardened. His Sharingan pulsed with power.

Orochimaru stiffened, sweat forming on his brow as the illusion pressed down on him. After a mont, Obito released him.

"Put away your hunger. These eyes aren't for you to covet."

Orochimaru straightened, brushing dust from his cloak as though nothing had happened, though his tongue flicked across his lips unconsciously.

These eyes… splendid.

They reminded him of a boy he'd once glimpsed so ti ago.

"If this is truly about a transaction, then at least give your na," Orochimaru said.

Obito's tone was low, asured. "I am the Uchiha who cannot die. You may call … Madara."

Orochimaru's eyes widened. "Madara?! Surely, you jest."

"Oh?" Obito's voice carried no humor. "Do I look like I'm joking?"

His Sharingan spun before Orochimaru's eyes, three tomoe rotating, then rging into a more complex, sickle-shaped pattern.

Orochimaru's breath caught.

"This is…!"
