Although Hashirama made a blunder, thanks to the dicinal concoction and Seii's already strong physique, his pain quickly faded after he subrged himself in the dical bath.
Fortunately, after that little commotion, the remaining chakra infusion training session had gone well without a hitch.
Of course, he could still feel the pain caused by cellular-level mild evolution, but the dical concoction made it bearable. Its gentle dicinal energy entered Seii's body through his pores and revitalized his skin and muscle cells.
Still, he could have avoided all that extre pain if his uncle hadn't forgotten about the dical concoction in the first place.
Seii swore that he would ruthlessly take away at least half of his savings by gambling against him.
Although Hashirama's gambling luck wasn't as abysmal as Tsunade's as depicted in the original Narutoverse, he still lost nine out of ten matches.
Perfect opportunity to rob his uncle blind.
Anyway…
By the ti he woke up from his sleep the next day, he felt his body as light as a feather. His cells seed to be highly active, giving him a refreshing feeling.
As for his fear of feeling sore after an intense and painful chakra infusion exercise last night, no such thing troubled him.
According to his uncle Hashirama, the dicinal energy from the concoction made cellular evolution a slow and gradual process, rather than a violent one.
This repaired even the tiniest muscle tears, reinforced his muscles and skin, and solidified his physical foundation while he rested and slept at night.
After learning about it and confirming it with his father, Seii threw caution to the wind and earnestly began practicing the chakra infusion technique.
His schedule was fixed.
Three tis a week.
He continued to shuffle between infusing chakra into his skin and muscles, and his bones.
He also intensified his Taijutsu and Kenjutsu training to accelerate the initial physique enhancent that was set to occur in two months.
His skills improved rapidly during this ti.
The chakra infusion technique had also been recorded by his system, allowing him to grind its proficiency points with each session.
Although his life beca extrely monotonous with nothing but the academy, training, missions, and even more training, Seii didn't mind at all.
Apart from training, casting supernatural Ninjutsu, and spending ti with his family and friends, he had nothing to do that he could particularly enjoy.
This world lacked any mode of conventional entertainnt that Seii used to enjoy during his previous life on Earth.
No video gas. No internet. No exciting board gas. No special effect movies. No fantasy novels.
Not a single fucking proper source of entertainnt at all.
Don't even talk about the live performances and songs of this world. They were bland as hell.
And even if he heard soothing tunes or songs, his first reaction had always been to disrupt his chakra flow to break through any possible form of Genjutsu.
He wasn't paranoid. In fact, this was proper caution.
Even the Senju clan had terrifying Genjutsu specialists who relied on sound as a dium to trap others in Genjutsu.
Of course, his clan wouldn't hurt him. But the hidden spies that might be roaming in Konoha could.
Who could say what insane, lethal thod the spies from the foreign nations might pull to kill a prodigy like him before he could mature and beco a headache for the other Shinobi villages?
With the lack of proper entertainnt and the threat from enemy ninjas, chakra beasts, and the otherworldly Otsutsuki clan mbers, he couldn't help but train every day to improve his strength.
Unless he reached the Super Kage-level of combat prowess at the very least, he couldn't rest easy at all.
It was not only about his own survival, but also about protecting his friends, family, and ho from the unseen threats.
So, he had never relaxed his training intensity.
In fact, as a soul coming from an Earth that lacked any supernatural elents, he rather enjoyed this feeling of manipulating chakra and controlling other natural elents.
No matter how old he got or how many tis he experienced the miracle brought by chakra, the novelty and excitent never faded.
So, just like that, days passed slowly but steadily like water passing through a narrow stream. And in the blink of an eye, one month had passed by.
--------------
Konoha, Land of Fire, July 16, Year 14 of Konoha Calendar
It had been a month and a half since the first sester of the Ninja Academy had begun. And Seii had already completed three out of the village missions so far.
Two during the last month and one during July.
Now, he just needed to complete another mission this month to spend the rest of the month however he wanted.
The two missions he had completed last month had both been C-rank bandit extermination missions.
And his first mission this month was a B-rank mission, where he had to eliminate a small group of C-rank chakra beasts with a B-rank Elite chakra beast leader.
Why did he pick a B-rank mission all of a sudden?
Well, he didn't want to pick one.
But his efficiency-loving father, who was also the Hokage of the village now, thought that sending Seii into C-rank missions would be a huge waste of the village's manpower from the point of view of the leader of Konoha.
Although Seii was just ten this year, his combat prowess had already reached the Elite Jonin level.
In fact, with his tactical intelligence, massive chakra reserves, combat efficiency, and a huge arsenal of powerful techniques, he could take down multiple Elite Jonin-level ninjas or a chakra beast of A danger rating.
Sending such a powerhouse to clear bandit lairs? What a waste!
Tobirama thought about pulling Seii out of class and officially declaring him a Jonin of Konoha multiple tis.
But after thinking for a while, he decided against it.
It was better to let him graduate officially while forging deep bonds with the promising talents of the S-class students, who would likely beco the pillars of Konoha within two decades.
However, it didn't stop him from dumping higher-ranked missions on Seii. All within school rules.
So, just when Seii was enjoying the nice sunny weather and morning breeze, and thought that he would take an easy beast extermination mission, he was ruthlessly summoned to report in the Hokage building at 9 AM by a passing ANBU.
The reason?
He was going to participate in a freaking A-rank mission.
Seii was dumbfounded.
He hadn't even beco an official Shinobi. But he was still being summoned to carry out an A-rank mission by the ruthless capitalist boss of a Hokage.
And worse, that boss was none other than his father.
He could only imagine how insane his actual workload as an official ninja would be if he had to be summoned to the Hokage's office as an academic student right now.
Would he still have to work overti like a corporate workhorse even in this world of superpower?
The future already seed bleak.
Forget about it.
He would deal with it when the ti ca.
After feeling a bit emo for a few monts, Seii arrived at the Hokage's office at 8:55 AM.
As he walked into the office, he saw a group of four Konoha ninjas—one Elite Jonin, two Jonin, and one Special Jonin—who were already standing across from his father, who was scribing sothing on a scroll.
He understood already. These four Konoha ninjas would be his teammates during this particular A-rank mission.
With such an impressive line-up, the mission was bound to be a critical one.
Well, to be fair, almost every A-rank mission was a critical one from a Shinobi stronghold like Konoha's point of view.
So much so that every A-rank or higher missions were directly assigned by the Hokage instead of the missions departnt.
As Seii's thoughts kept wandering, the clock hit nine. And right on cue, Tobirama also put his pen down and stared at the five ninjas standing across his table.
While sitting on the Hokage's seat, he leaned forward, put his elbows on the table, and clasped his hands.
He stayed silent for a few seconds before speaking, "Since you are all here, let's start the briefing."
