As Seii and Sorata rushed toward the AA-rank mutated Fire Demon, both of them took out their new weapons from their own storage seals.
It was an AA-rank chakra beast they were going to fight. Using normal weapons against it was plain suicide. After all, you wouldn't want your simple steel blade sprinkled with a little bit of chakra tal dust to lt upon contacting the beast's body.
Special cases needed special weapons.
Sorata took another short sword from his storage seal space. The blade of this sword was pure black with faint patterns that glowed slightly when Sorata channeled his chakra through it.
Its edges were sharper than his usual ninja short sword, and it was at least 5x more durable than standard chakra tal weapons.
A perfect weapon for a Uchiha ninja who had taken his Kenjutsu and chakra flow skills to a rather high level.
On the other hand, Seii took out a pair of silver-colored, tallic, thin gloves from his storage seal space and put them on imdiately.
Although the pair of gloves looked like simple satin formal gloves for n, they were far from simple.
Made of a unique blend of highly conductive chakra tal, bone dust of an S-rank chakra beast, and a portion of a high-tier chakra beast core, the pair of gloves was a powerful artifact.
It was very durable, could block powerful thrusts and slashes from extrely sharp weapons, was highly conductive of chakra, and had foreign chakra blocking capabilities.
It also had chakra amplification properties that could boost the power of chakra or Ninjutsu released from his hands.
In a nutshell, for Seii, who had mastered the Chakra Enhanced Strength, Taijutsu, several Chidori variables, and other Ninjutsu that could be channeled through his hands or fingers, these gloves were nothing short of a divine artifact.
If he still failed to subdue the AA-rank mutated Fire Demon with these gloves, his own Elite Jonin-level strength, and the aid of his fellow ninjas, he might as well quit being a ninja, open so business in Konoha, marry a beautiful wife, and live a simple life.
Of course, if he could, he would rather live a simple life while mastering various Ninjutsu, experinting with the supernatural power of chakra, and increasing his personal strength in a relaxed manner.
However, this world and the future threats left him with no other choice.
Enemy ninjas were still manageable. Chakra beasts were fine, too. But he just couldn't ignore the threat of the extraterrestrial Otsutsuki clan mbers and place his hopes on the child of prophecy and future protagonist characters like that idiot Jiraiya.
Now, his uncle Hashirama and his father, Senju Tobirama, were around in this alternative Naruto universe, too. But he refused to be a simple Kage-level ninja, who was nothing in the grand sche of things.
Then there was that freaking Otsutsuki Isshiki lurking sowhere in the dark, too.
Only his own power was the best safety net, the best insurance.
Seii shook off his random thoughts and focused on the mutated Fire Demon, when he and Sorata were less than twenty ters away from it.
"I'll go first," said Seii as he charged forward.
He reinforced his entire body with chakra to appear in front of the mutated Fire Demon in the blink of an eye, clenched his right hand into a fist, gathered chakra in it, and punched the chakra beast with all his strength.
The demon, of course, sensed him. Seeing the incoming fist radiating terrifying power, the demon tried to block it using its elbow.
The mont the elbow and the glove-covered fist hit, Seii detonated the gathered chakra.
Chakra Enhanced Strength
BOOOOOM!!!
A horrifying shockwave spread outwards as the impact force of the punch made the demon skid backward for tens of ters. The elbow of the demon, which was protected by extrely hard and hot Lava Release armor, cracked and deford.
However, such an injury was nothing to the AA-rank mutated Fire Demon. The deford elbow and the cracked bones healed within seconds.
The demon finally spoke, "Not a bad power. But do you think it would be enough to take out? Do you think that if you had the numbers, you could kill ?"
Seii narrowed his eyes. It was his first ti facing an AA-rank chakra beast. He knew that once the chakra beasts reached this level, they could speak in the human tongue.
But this was still a refreshing experience, which would have been even better if the demon's face weren't so hideous.
At that mont, Uzumaki Benitsu finished forming his hand seals and gathered water chakra in his throat.
Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique
Benitsu released a torrent of water from his mouth. It quickly ford a fifteen-ter-long serpentine water dragon that charged at the mutated demon with the montum of a speeding train.
"Tsk~"
"Little tricks"
The demon said disdainfully as it activated its own unique innate skill, Stone Snake.
The ground rumbled as a huge snake-like construct made of stone ca out of it and hit the water dragon construct, dispersing it before charging toward Uzumaki Benitsu with its remaining power.
The red-headed Uzumaki simply used the Body Flicker Technique to dodge it, letting it hit the place he was standing just a mont ago.
Baaaaang!!
The huge snake created a huge crater when it hit the ground, destroying everything within a twenty-ter radius.
anwhile, the mutated demon used another innate skill, Explosive Steps, to appear in front of Uzumaki Benitsu, who had just ended the Body Flicker Jutsu. It would be hard for him to use the sa Jutsu to dodge it within the limited fraction of a second.
So, he simply jumped backward using his chakra-reinforced body.
The demon sneered. Now that Benitsu was mid-air, it would be hard for him to dodge his next attack. So, activated another innate skill, Lava Sphere, which would blow up with a devastating explosion as soon as it hit the airborne ninja.
Unfortunately for the demon, Benitsu wasn't alone.
Just as the demon was about to release its skill, a sharp blade coated in sharp wind chakra appeared right before its neck. It was Uchiha Sorata who was waiting for the right mont to take action.
At the sa ti, multiple sharp spears of earth erupted from the ground around it, trying to stab its legs, hands, and several vital parts of its torso.
These spears appeared because of the Earth Release: Earth Flow Spear, cast by Senju Haku.
Left with no other choice, the demon had to abandon the activation of the Lava Sphere skill, which it wanted to use to kill or injure Uzumaki Benitsu.
Instead, it activated a powerful, wide-area damage innate skill, Radius Blast.
An absurd amount of chakra was poured out of the demon's body as it ford a circular, red ring around it.
"Fuck," cursed Uchiha Sorata as he activated the Substitution Technique at the last mont.
And just as the wooden log appeared in his place, the fiery red ring around the demon's body exploded, repelling everything around it with a shockwave containing scorching flas.
BOOOOOOOM!!!
The shockwave and the exploding flas engulfed and destroyed everything within a twenty-five-ter radius around it. Even the spears of the earth lunging toward its body crumbled into dust, leaving not even a sign of it.
The area around the demon turned into a scorching ss as the high-temperature flas began to lt the cracked ground.
Uchiha Sorata reappeared around seventy ters away from the demon. His heart was beating wildly as he muttered, "I almost got killed."
Senju Haku's lips twitched a little, too. "What kind of broken area-effect ability is this?"
He wasn't wrong. This ability was indeed broken. Now, you couldn't even get close to the demon without worrying about getting blasted into pieces and scorched into ashes at the sa ti.
anwhile, Seii, who was gathering a huge amount of lightning chakra in his right arm, noticed that the demon's overall chakra capacity dropped by at least 5% after using the last area-effect innate skill.
Although the skill is extrely powerful, the demon might not be able to use it constantly because it costs a lot of chakra.
Still, we must be careful.
Seii thought inwardly as countless deep purple bolts of lightning slithered around his arm and the area around him.
Then, he pointed his arm and index finger toward the demon, who had just released the Radius Blast skill, which ant it wasn't prepared to release another large-scale innate skill within the next one or two seconds.
Electric arcs crackled around him, and he finally cast his Ninjutsu.
