For the last seven days, Seii had been going through a crazy grind at hell-level difficulty.
The first three days, which were Seii's holidays, he went through two complete chakra infusion trading sessions under the supervision of his 'beloved' uncle, Senju Hashirama.
If that were all, it would still be fine.
But no, he also had to endure intense physical workouts and nearly bone-breaking Taijutsu training.
His Taijutsu sparring partner?
It was the God of Shinobi, Hashirama, himself.
Fortunately, although Hashirama was a bit of a goofball, he knew when to hold back to train the younger generations of ninjas.

But Seii didn't complain.

The combination of the system's proficiency upgrade panel and Senju Hashirama as an instructor was almost divine.
To put it simply, Seii made more progress in his Taijutsu over these seven days with Hashirama than he did in seven weeks of his usual solo training.
His progress was practically visible to the naked eye, which made Hashirama even more excited, leading him to increase the physical and Taijutsu training difficulty by a notch.
But to Seii, all this random stuff didn't matter right now.
Because today, Seii felt like he could make a breakthrough to strengthen his physique.
His skin, muscles, tendons, and bones were brimming with infused chakra, ready to evolve to the next stage.
Just a little push, just one more chakra infusion session would be enough for him to break through his shackles and drastically improve the power of his physique.
So, he was eager to start the chakra infusion training session as soon as possible.
He had read about the benefits of the first major physique enhancent in the clan records. And now, it was about ti to experience the very sa thing himself.

Today was the eighth day since Seii restarted his chakra infusion sessions after returning from the Kitakari town mission.
Seii had already gone through three chakra infusion sessions in the last seven days, and today, he would start the fourth.
In the special training room, Seii was quietly preparing the dicinal bath. His uncle, Senju Hashirama, was standing beside him.
Soon, Seii stood up and said, "Okay. The dicinal bath solution is ready now."
Hashirama smiled and added, "Very well."
"It's about ti you achieve your first major physique enhancent, building a solid physical foundation for the next major enhancents."
"I can already sense it."
"The cells of your skin, muscles, tendons, and bones have already been brimming with infused chakra, which pushed their current adaptation capability to their absolute limit."
"Now, they just need a little push."
"The gentle energy of the dicinal herbs and one more session of chakra infusion will force these cells to break through their limits, triggering a controlled evolution in a positive direction."
"This will make your bones stronger and muscles denser and more explosive, reducing lactic acid accumulation and muscle tissue fatigue."
"Your tendons and ligants will beco more flexible, and their tensile strength will increase several tis, helping you move your body more flexibly."
"Naturally, your dexterity will improve, too."
"Finally, your skin will beco more elastic and resilient."
"As for the deeper benefits and other factors, you will naturally see it with your own eyes and feel it yourself after you complete the first major physique enhancent."
Seii listened to his uncle silently and slowly nodded his head.
He knew that his physique stat had reached the very limit before a major breakthrough.
According to his system's evaluation, his current physique stat was 19. So, if he could cross this threshold and reach 20, its effect on his physique would be more than just the deceptively simple and lackluster one point or 5% increase.
No. His physique will at least get a 100% enhancent. Afterwards, for every one point increase, his physique would probably improve by 20% to 30% per point until he reached another major threshold of 29 points.
Then, it would be ti for another major upgrade.
But this is a talk for another ti.
Right now, Seii was completely focused on finishing the chakra infusion session.
He was excited, but he kept his composure.
Hashirama added, "Alright. Take off your clothes, get into the dical bath, and start infusing chakra into your skin, muscles, tendons, and bones."
Seii didn't waste any ti.
He discarded all his clothes except for his underwear and fully subrged his entire body into the dicinal solution, while keeping only his head out of the surface of the liquid.
Without further delay, he started extracting wisps of chakra from his chakra pathways and chakra points (tenketsu) before slowly rging them into his skin, muscles, tendons, and bones.
Soon, his entire body began to itch, and he began to feel a mild ache in every part of his body.
Fortunately, the dicinal liquid acted in ti as its dicinal properties entered Seii's body through his pores.
Its gentle energy soothed Seii's aching body as the dicinal properties were constantly guiding the body cells to break through their limits and evolve as gently as possible.
The pain didn't completely go away. It was still there. But Seii gritted his teeth and held on.
Ti kept moving one second at a ti. And in the blink of an eye, nearly two hours passed by.
Soon, Seii noticed his body undergoing a trendous change. And this wasn't subtle at all.
His body cells refused any more chakra infusion and began to mutate drastically.
His bone cells were becoming stronger, tougher, and began to gain unique shock absorption properties. The tensile strength of his ligants and tendons kept increasing.
His muscle tissues were becoming denser and more tightly packed. The amount of energy stored within them started growing, and the muscle's burst power surged.
His skin cells also changed. They were coated in a natural layer of chakra on a microscopic level, causing Seii's physical defense to surge several tis.
The peripheral nerves, blood vessels, and chakra pathways also received a boost. However, he couldn't determine the extent of the boost they received.
Everything was going well. The only problem was the pain.
It was painful. Way too painful.
The pain of the rapid evolution of the physical body in real life was no joke.
He had been deceived by the novels and ani of his previous life, where the protagonist and other people made one breakthrough after another with a smile on their faces.
Who was the bastard who said that breaking through the physical limits would feel like receiving a comforting massage? What happened to the feeling of taking a relaxing, cold bath on a hot sumr day?
Those novels deceived him.
Forget about receiving a comforting massage. Right now, all he was feeling was pain. It felt as if thousands of deadly, venomous ants were crawling inside his body and chewing his very being with their pincers.
I swear…
If I ever beco strong enough to travel back to Earth, I would beat the shit out of these misleading bastards and let them feel the fraction of pain I am feeling right now.
Ouch…damn it.
Seii, you have to hold on.
Pain is temporary, power is eternal.

Why is the ti flowing so slowly?
While Seii was in the middle of cursing, his body continued to evolve.
And after a little over ten minutes, Seii finally felt the pain subside.

He slowly clenched his fist again and again as if he were trying to feel power hidden in his muscles.
Soon, the pain he was feeling was completely gone.
And his whole body felt light, as if a huge burden was taken off his back.
He felt more alive. He felt like he was reborn.
Soon, the Otsutsuki bloodline's imnse vitality and the remaining dicinal energy within the liquid healed his body completely.
He felt completely refreshed.
At this ti, Hashirama's voice echoed in the room again.
"Congratulations, my dear nephew. You have achieved the first major physique enhancent."
