While Seii was busy setting the C and D-rank chakra beast corpses with ager values (their body's value was to him or Reina) on fire using a Fire Release Jutsu, a hooded man in dark attire was passing by approximately two kiloters away from their group.
He wore a black hooded robe that stretched only to his knees. He wore a full-sleeved, black high-necked t-shirt, a dark grey flak jacket, a maroon belt with several ninja pouches around his waist, a pair of black ninja pants, and standard ninja sandals.
He had brown hair, honey-colored eyes, and relatively pale skin, which distinguished him from most ninjas who had worked in the sun for years, completing various missions.
There was also a black, inverse-triangle tattoo right below his eyes.
His presence seed to be incredibly low. Although his body has chakra, there were almost no fluctuations outside, which would make even the greatest sensor-nin ignore his existence unless they specifically locked onto him.
Even the wielders of Byakugan would dismiss him as a low-level, Genin-tier ninja if they didn't extensively focus on him.
This nearly six-foot-tall man in a black outfit was just passing by and intended to stay in Hachijima town for a day or two.
However, suddenly, he stopped in his tracks.
The hooded man looked in the direction of Seii and his team and murmured, "This chakra…!!"
Beneath the hood, his eyes showed a hint of surprise.
His senses caught a chakra signature that was very familiar to him.
No, familiar wasn't the right word. He had never t the person who possessed the particular chakra signature he was sensing right now. That was for sure.
But the chakra signature his senses had caught felt very similar to the hidden leader of his organization.
He had only t the leader twice. But that was enough for him to recognize the horrible, oppressive chakra his leader radiated. It was as if the chakra was a whole tier above sothing that humans could possess.
The other key mbers of the organization who were directly under the hidden leader also had a faint trace of the leader's chakra.
It felt as if the leader had sohow injected his chakra or DNA into the key mber, giving them unimaginable power.
He wanted it, too. He wanted such power, too.
If he could get the leader's blessings…
If the leader also awarded him with the sa chakra or DNA sequence through the organization's advanced technology…
Then he could also attain power beyond asure, beyond the imagination of countless ninjas.
And now he sensed a chakra signature that was very similar to his leader.
Although this chakra signature didn't give him the dreaded, oppressive, inhuman feeling, the aura was quite familiar.
If he had to make an analogy, then it felt as if the leader and the unknown person with the familiar chakra signature were of the sa race.
He didn't know what was going on.
But…
"Although the possessor of the familiar aura has an enormous amount of chakra, at least twice as much chakra as my own reserves after my body modification, the quality of chakra suggests that the person is still not a Kage-level ninja."
"There is another person beside that guy who also possesses nearly the sa amount of chakra as I do. But that guy has also not entered the realm of a Kage."
"As for the last person…"
"Weak, nothing worth noting."
The hooded guy licked his lips as he sported a sinister smile.
"Excellent!"
"With my modified body, Kekkei Genkai, and ninja arts, I can capture my target and kill the other two."
"Even if I fail, escaping won't be a problem. If I want to run away, they could never hope to catch or fatally wound . Even a Kage-level ninja can't catch unless they have sothing that counters my Kekkei Genkai."
"Even if I fail, I can always track him and ambush him when he is alone."
"If I can't capture him alone, I can always bring reinforcents."
His expression beca fervent, and his eyes glead with madness.
"Soon…"
"Soon, I will be able to shatter the shackles of my current limits and raise my rank in the organization."
A person's chakra signature, specialty, and overall aura were highly dependent on the individual's DNA, bloodline, and physique.
After all, in most cases, the chakra was the result of the combination of the physical and ntal energy of an individual.
The fact that the hooded man could sense a similar aura from another person's individual chakra ant that the person's physique, DNA, and bloodline were closely related to the hidden leader of the organization.
If he could analyze the target's cells and chakra and transplant the DNA safely to his body using cutting-edge technology, his strength would soar.
More strength ant he could be a part of the inner circle of his group.
"Soon, I will be a part of the glorious circle."
He let out a crackling laugh for a few seconds before calming his nerves.
He looked in the direction of the chakra signature and muttered, "The target is just two kiloters away."
Suddenly, his chakra exploded outwards. He had already lifted the seal that concealed his actual chakra volu and quality from the sensory ninja's detection.
And then, in the blink of an eye, his figure vanished.
He moved so fast that it didn't even leave a flicker of an afterimage.
And it didn't seem like he was using any kind of movent-type Ninjutsu, such as the Body Flicker Technique, to achieve that kind of speed.
He was just incredibly fast, sothing that should have been impossible for anyone below the level of a peak Kage-level ninja.

While the hooded man was rushing toward them, Seii, Reina, and the Abura clan ninja were already prepared for battle.
I don't know who that guy is, but he suddenly burst out with a trendous amount of chakra. This chakra quality is nothing to scoff at, either.
And his speed is off the charts. Yet he isn't using any Jutsu to achieve such speed.
It's natural.
A special kind of chakra is running through his chakra network that helped him achieve this speed.
Fusion of two chakra natures to form a new type of chakra nature. The binding is incredibly stable, and it's spread throughout his figure as if it is a natural part of his body.
So, a Kekkei Genkai that boosts speed?
Without using any Ninjutsu, the hooded man had already covered 1,400 ters in less than seven seconds.
Right now, he was just another six hundred ters away from Seii and his group.
Seii observed all this with his Tenseigan as he focused most of his attention on the incoming ninja, who didn't look friendly at all.
After all, he could sense malice.
Malice toward him, Reina, and the supervising instructor.
They were definitely his targets.
He seed to suppress his chakra fluctuations to Genin-level sohow.
That was the reason why Seii ignored him when he entered the Tenseigan's farsight sensing range. After all, if he focused on "seeing" every visual object or being that entered his wide sensing range, his brain would be overwheld by the sheer amount of data.
To cope with this, he, just like most of the exceptional Byakugan wielders, focused on seeing only the things he wanted to see, while keeping the passive sensing ability of Tenseigan active.
If any chakra fluctuation raised an eyebrow, Seii would have instantly locked his gaze on the source of that precise fluctuation within milliseconds.
Soone with a Genin-level chakra fluctuation, which the hooded figure was radiating in his previous state before revealing his actual chakra to move toward them at great speed, was not worth observing.
But it seed that fate had other plans.
I see now.
A Kekkei Genkai that boosts speed.
Then it must be…
Swift Release!
Just as he ca to this conclusion, the figure of the hooded man also appeared like a phantom before him and his team.
Seeing the man in front of them and the pressure he was releasing, Seii's and Reina's expressions beca even more serious.
As for the Abura clan ninja, he was practically sweating.
What is this? What kind of monster did we cross paths with?
But before he could think of anything else, the hooded figure's voice suddenly echoed in the air.
"This feeling…"
"This sa feeling…there is no doubt about it now."
His gaze swept through all three individuals in front of him before settling on Seii.
He raised his hand and pointed his index finger toward Seii. "You. You will co with ."
