For example, the Caged Bird Seal of the Hyuga clan imposed severe restrictions on the Byakugan of the Branch family mbers.
(A/N: If those unfamiliar with Naruto, Byakugan is the unique kekkei genkai of the Hyuga clan that manifests in their eyes, similar to the Sharingan of the Uchiha clan.)
This seal made it impossible for the enemy ninjas to steal Byakugan from the Branch family mbers of the Hyuga clan.
Why?
That's because as soon as a Branch family Hyuga mber died or got their eyes gouged, the Caged Bird Seal would imdiately act and destroy these eyes.
However, this cursed seal technique could also allow the Hyuga clan's Main family mbers to control the Branch family mbers.
Just by weaving a few secret hand seals, the Main family mbers could inflict terrible pain on the branch family mbers at will.
Unfair? Yes.
But what could they do? This world was inherently cruel.
Another example of a Juinjutsu Seal is the Self-cursing Seal.
This seal could literally restrict the movents of an enemy. However, if the enemy flared up a large amount of chakra, they could lift the restrictive effects of this cursed seal.
That was why it was best to use this cursed seal as a trap to surprise the enemy or use it alongside the Chakra Suppression Seal after defeating the enemy to capture them.
Although the Sealing Techniques weren't all-powerful, if used wisely, they could be very convenient.

But when it ca to utility, there were only a few things that could surpass it.
Low on chakra?
Use Fuinjutsu Seals to store your own chakra before heading to the battlefield.
Iwagakure ninjas are constantly moving underground and targeting you?
No problem. Bring a Fuinjutsu Grandmaster, cast a Fuinjutsu Battlefield, and restrict your enemy's access to the natural earth. Now, they would only waste more of their chakra to cast Earth Release Ninjutsu, and they couldn't move underground.
At least, not until they broke the barrier of the Fuinjutsu Battlefield and got out of the Sealing Technique's range.
Facing a weird immortal Chakra Beast who just couldn't be killed?
Cast a Four Symbols Seal and seal them completely after defeating and weakening them to the extre.
However, in the whole Shinobi world, Fuinjutsu experts were quite rare.
Most Shinobi didn't even bother learning Sealing Techniques.
Even if they learned them, they know very few rudintary or necessary Fuinjutsu Seals at best.
