The joint training formally started, and the first evaluation was chakra control.

The relatively younger children were asked to perform leaf concentration exercises to showcase their control over their chakra.

anwhile, those who are 8 or older were asked to demonstrate tree-climbing and water-walking.

Of course, Seii chose to participate in the last two tasks.

Seii passed it with full marks as well.

Each candidate had to hit 15 stationary targets with Shuriken, Senbon, and Kunai.

Everything was fine until the Taijutsu evaluation.

His instructor was a Special Jonin.

Hashirama looked serious and said righteously, "Not at all. I was worried about you."

'Did you think I would believe that?'

'If I didn't know the true side of this so-called "God of Shinobi", I would have believed you.'

'But now, no chance.'

He knew very well that his uncle was having fun and secretly gloating as he watched everyone getting thrashed.

Just then, Hashirama patted Seii's head and said with a sincere smile, "But you really did well over there. Good work. I will treat you to a barbecue at Yakiniku Q before we head ho."

Feeling his genuine care, Seii finally smiled back and said, "Then I will dry your wallet today."

After about 30 more minutes, the Taijutsu evaluation finally ended.

Senju Haruto walked back to the center of the training ground once again.

"Alright, kids. Good job keeping up with the evaluation so far."

"I will give you 15 minutes to rest, and then I will pair you up for the one-on-one combat drill."

"Each match will only last 5 minutes. If you can defeat your opponent within this tifra, you win. Otherwise, we will halt the fight after 5 minutes."

After a 15-minute break, the match-up was finally determined.

Seii's opponent was a 12-year-old kid, Senju Kyojuro.

"Senju Seii. Senju Kyojuro. Please co up to the duel ground."

Seii and Kyojuro wasted no ti, and they entered the duel ground quickly.

Kyojuro smiled and said, "Let's have a good match, Seii-kun."

"Of course, Konoha's archite-...I an Yamat…cough cough…yes, Kyojuro."

Hearing his reply, Senju Kyojuro was a bit confused. He felt as if he was unknowingly insulted. But he didn't think too much about it.

Maybe Seii-kun was a bit shy.

'Oops! I slipped up!'

Seii inwardly cursed. But when he saw that Kyojuro didn't show any unnatural reaction except for a slightly confused face, he knew he was saved.

He sighed in relief and quickly adjusted his ntal state.

His first actual combat against another opponent other than his father was about to begin.
