If it were outside, that would be one thing, but now Kazuki has directly co to the Shimura clan grounds to humiliate him. This kind of behavior is unbearable for anyone.
"Die, brat!!!"
Kazuki ca to the Shimura clan grounds himself to humiliate people, to insult the Shimura clan. Even if sothing happens to him here, the village won’t trouble him because of Kazuki’s behavior—he’s digging his own grave.
If you’re the one seeking death, you can’t bla others.
Unable to tolerate it any longer, the Shimura clan leader attacked. Several kunai flew toward Kazuki.
"Wind Release: Vacuum Wave!"
Every ninja family has its unique skills. Although the Shimura clan isn’t a bloodline limit family, most of them are highly skilled in Wind Release. As the clan leader and an experienced Jonin of the village, the Shimura clan leader’s strength was nothing to scoff at, despite Kazuki’s constant belittling.
The kunai pierced through Kazuki’s body, but it was only an illusion.
Having anticipated this, the Shimura clan leader wasn’t concerned and released a powerful wind from his mouth, sweeping it toward Kazuki.
"Hasn’t anyone told you, you’re too slow?"
A kunai slashed toward the Shimura clan leader’s throat.
"Brat, who do you think you’re underestimating!!!"
The Shimura clan leader’s body suddenly exploded, turning into a wooden log. Kazuki showed a look of surprise.
"....When did this happen?"
"Of course, when you approached . Our clan has quite a bit of intel on you, Kazuki. I’ve wanted to kill you for a long ti, and now you’ve delivered yourself to my doorstep."
The Shimura clan leader’s eyes were filled with hatred.
The battle had already erupted, and the Shimura clan leader believed that even if he couldn’t defeat Kazuki, his clansn would soon surround the area.
With the support of his clan, the Shimura clan leader was confident he could take Kazuki down.
"As long as we’re cautious of your Genjutsu, your threat, Kazuki, will...."
The kunai pierced through Kazuki’s body again, but the Shimura clan leader’s smug expression froze, for it was another illusion.
Several ters away, Kazuki raised his hand and sighed, patting his forehead.
"Is that all?"
"Damn brat!!!" Once again humiliated, the Shimura clan leader’s face turned pale with fury, roaring in anger.
However, an uneasy feeling rose within him. He began to notice sothing wrong. He was on his clan’s grounds, fighting an enemy, so why hadn’t anyone co to help yet? The commotion from the battle should’ve alerted his clan.
Yet, no one appeared.
The area was eerily quiet. So quiet, it was almost frightening. Even the chirping of insects and birds had disappeared. Could it be...
Genjutsu!
The realization hit the Shimura clan leader, his heart sinking, his expression growing increasingly grim. "When..."
"When you first saw ." Kazuki shook his head, disappointed. "Sorry, but this is your clan’s grounds. You didn’t think I’d foolishly engage in a battle here and let your people surround , did you? A fool is still a fool. Your sense of vigilance is terrifyingly poor. You were caught in Genjutsu and didn’t even realize it, still expecting your clan to save you."
A sharp pain spread from his heart throughout his body. The Shimura clan leader looked down in shock at his chest, now bleeding.
"Given your brave performance, I’ll send two of your clan elders to accompany you. No need to thank ; it’s only fair. On behalf of the entire Uchiha clan, I’ll see you off."
The kunai in Kazuki’s hand began to rotate, shredding the Shimura clan leader’s heart.
’So, is this how I, an old man, die at the hands of a brat?’
The Shimura clan leader’s eyes, losing their color, longed to take one last look at his enemy, but his body no longer moved.
Kazuki threw the Shimura clan leader’s corpse into the Kamui dinsion, a slight smirk on his lips.
"Obito, I hope you like the gift I sent you."
Frequent use of Kamui to enter the other dinsion, even stuffing corpses inside, would undoubtedly catch Obito’s attention. Kazuki needed to draw Obito’s focus back to Konoha.
Returning ho, Kazuki changed out of his combat gear, cleaned up, and stood in front of the bathroom mirror, looking at his eyes.
"What a pity. It’s not really mine, after all."
Kamui was strong, ranked among the top of all Mangekyō Sharingan abilities. Unfortunately, Kamui belonged to Obito.
Kazuki could borrow Obito’s Sharingan, but he didn’t want to rely on it forever.
The eyes ultimately weren’t his own.
It was ti to swap his eyes again. Looking at the Sharingan in the bottle, Kazuki’s mouth twitched slightly.
Laughing maniacally while digging out and replacing your own eyes, even feeling joy from it—perhaps only Madara Uchiha could understand such madness.
Kazuki couldn’t comprehend it. Could pain really bring pleasure? Having dealt with the Shimura clan leader, two elders, and Asuma as interest, Kazuki wouldn’t need Kamui for a while. So, he had to replace his eyes again.
It hurt, but it had to be done.
Better a short pain than a long one. Kazuki lifted his hand and once again perford eye surgery on himself without anesthesia.
At the mountain graveyard, Obito furrowed his brow slightly.
Was it just a trick of the mind? Or had Kakashi already mastered the power of the Mangekyō?
Puzzled, Obito entered the Kamui dinsion and saw three new corpses lying inside. He fell into deep thought.
Was it Kakashi?
Or did soone treat the Kamui space like a garbage dump!!!
A wave of rage surged from Obito’s body.
anwhile, Kakashi, unaware of the bla being pinned on him, was in the Daimyo’s mansion.
Just off duty, Kakashi knocked on Asuma’s door.
It was ti for a shift change, but Asuma was nowhere to be found, so Kakashi had to co look for him. Kakashi and Asuma had been classmates, and though they were practically strangers now, he knew Asuma’s personality.
If Asuma had decided to slack off and run away, it would be a real headache.
Sure enough, there was no response to his knock.
Kakashi forced the door open, only to find Asuma’s room completely empty—not a soul in sight.
Had he run away, or had he gone out to relax?
After hesitating, Kakashi turned to leave and sought out the Daimyo’s guards to ask if they had seen Asuma.
"Honorable ninja, we have not seen your companion."
The Daimyo’s estate was the most prosperous in the Land of Fire, but its security was laughably poor. Aside from the palace, which had better defenses, the rest of the city was so easy for ninjas to infiltrate that it was like walking in and out of a brothel. If Asuma didn’t want to be found, he could leave without being noticed by these ordinary guards.
