The Third Hokage won’t, but the Hokage will.
This ans the winds have changed outside.
Now that the Third Hokage is no longer in power, the new Hokage definitely won’t tolerate Danzo’s behavior.
And with such authority right after taking office, it’s undoubtedly Tsunade as the new Hokage!
Because when the Third Hokage retired, if Jiraiya beca Hokage, he would consider the Third’s feelings and wouldn’t push too hard.
But Tsunade’s different—she’ll simply take him down.

Kazuki continued to hint at Danzo, adding so shocking revelations.
"It’s said that the Anbu is undergoing restructuring and a cleanup. It’s incredible—many spies planted by certain people have been caught, and the Hokage is furious!"
Tsunade!!!
Danzo, with a grim face, turned away.
He didn’t want to talk to Kazuki anymore; he wanted a mont to calm down and figure out his next steps.
Originally, when Danzo was thrown into prison, he wasn’t overly worried since he had allies outside, and the Third wouldn’t abandon him.
His remaining people outside would find a way to contact him and rescue him.
Now, it seems like all of that is gone—completely gone.
The Third has retired, and the pawns left in the Anbu have been cleared out. Given Tsunade’s hot temper, the remaining allies are unlikely to escape being purged.
This leaves Danzo’s years of plotting with nothing left to show for it.
Perhaps he only has this broken body and a tarnished reputation remaining.
While Danzo ignored him, Kazuki didn’t let up.
He continued to strike at Danzo’s sore spots.
"Poor Third Hokage, due to his poor judgnt, allowed soone to abuse their power and commit countless atrocities. The Third Hokage, to calm the villagers and the Daimyo, had to admit his failure and accept that he’d misjudged soone."
"..."
Misjudged soone?
Poor judgnt?
Is that what Sarutobi said?
Danzo, turning his back to Kazuki, clenched his fists tightly within his sleeves.
Kazuki could mock him for his actions without remorse; he could even say, "I did everything for the village."
Danzo wasn’t afraid of slander or doubts. As long as he achieved his goals, he would use any ans necessary.
But the Third’s shifting of bla was like a knife, stabbing Danzo right in the heart.
"Hahaha..."
Seeing that he’d set the tone, Kazuki chose to stop, avoiding pushing Danzo too far all at once.
There’s plenty of ti left; it’s more enjoyable to collect interest slowly rather than overturning everything at once.
"Jiro, go find a few logs about two ters long, as thick as an arm, and make sure they’re dry. I have a use for them."
Taking out a sealing scroll, Kazuki produced a reclining chair, lay back on it, crossed his legs, and just stared at Danzo.
Unfortunately, a heavily provoked Danzo didn’t even want to face him, standing silently against the wall.
"Logs?"
First, it was twine and sticks, and now he wants logs? Why has the captain started behaving strangely since entering the prison?
Filled with doubts, Jiro didn’t ask what Kazuki intended to do with the logs and went to get them.
Soon, the items arrived.
To prevent Kazuki from pulling any more stunts, Jiro brought over a log with a stern face, feeling embarrassed by the strange looks from other ninjas in the prison.
Getting up from his reclining chair, Kazuki took out a new kunai and began cutting the log into small pieces, transforming into a carpenter as he made little toys out of the wood.
"Itachi."
Working with the wood, Kazuki called out without looking up.
"Captain."
Itachi stepped forward, bowed slightly, and stood beside him.
"Hollow out the wood at your feet. I need two barrels."
"Yes."
Itachi didn’t question Kazuki’s strange request, taking out a kunai and beginning to hollow out the wood.
"By the way, what kind of person do you think Danzo is?"
Itachi’s body froze for a few seconds, then continued working while replying, "Power-hungry and ruthless, willing to do anything for power."
This was Itachi’s conclusion from working under Kazuki.
"What did Shisui once say about him?"
"..."
Itachi almost cut himself with the kunai but quickly steadied himself. After a pause, he answered.
"Shisui once said that Danzo was a revered figure to him and his clan, a pivotal figure in resolving conflicts between the village and the clan."
"Was he right?"
Kazuki continued working with the wood, as though he was just chatting casually with Itachi.
Itachi fell silent once again.
"You’re a smart person, so you should understand that what you see isn’t always the truth. You were deeply influenced by Shisui. I was always worried you’d beco another Shisui. It seems I was wrong. Don’t blindly trust others. Sotis family, friendship, and even love can cloud your judgnt."
"Oh, by the way, do you have a girl you like? I’ve heard you’re quite popular in the clan and village. Many girls say they’d marry into the Uchiha clan for you."
Amid the serious conversation, Kazuki suddenly changed the topic.
Is this really the ti to talk about this?
Itachi’s mouth twitched slightly, but he still replied honestly, "There isn’t anyone I like at the mont."
For Itachi, this kind of thing was still far off.
"Is that so? I think you should consider marrying the daughter of the sweets shop or dango shop owner since you like sweets so much."
*Cough, cough!!!*
Itachi nearly choked.
Everyone else burst into laughter.
Even Kaze, the usually reserved mber, couldn’t help but laugh. If not for Kazuki’s presence, they might have teased Itachi as well.
Damn Uchiha kid!!!
Hearing Kazuki and the others joking and laughing outside, Danzo found it unbearable. It was like they were purposely mocking him.
This Uchiha kid is still just a child, even if he’s clever. Look, now that they’re laughing, his face has turned red.
Seeing that he’d broken Itachi’s composure, Kazuki decided to stop teasing him.
"Speak up. I’ve noticed you watching a lot lately as if you have questions."
"Yes."
Blushing slightly, Itachi bit his lip and finally voiced his question.
"Captain, it’s about genjutsu usage..."
With Shisui stationed at the Daimyo side, Itachi had no one to train with, leaving him stuck in his practice.
