After nearly three days of holding out, Danzo finally lost his composure.

Kazuki kept tornting him in various ways, humiliating him. Danzo could endure most of it, but this was truly unbearable.

If he didn’t comply, Kazuki was likely to spray him with urine. Even if he missed, the cell would be left reeking, filled with the stench of urine.

This was sothing Danzo simply could not tolerate.

"So, are you going to eat or not?"

Kazuki aid the water gun at Danzo, completely ignoring his demand to see the Third Hokage.

Do you seriously think you’re in a position to make demands?

Danzo was shaking with anger, while Kazuki was smiling smugly.

Danzo was practically grinding his teeth in frustration, suppressing his anger as he begrudgingly picked up the food pill and threw it into his mouth.

He wasn’t afraid of hunger, but he was afraid of being soaked in bird pee or trapped in a stinking cell.

"Is that it?"

"Hahaha..."

Kazuki laughed proudly, tossing the water gun to Itachi.

"Watch him. Spray him every ten minutes, and if he dares glare at you, use kid’s urine on him tomorrow."

Itachi. "..."

Couldn’t this glorious task be given to soone else? I really can’t handle it.

Imagining himself preparing the water gun with kid’s urine and spraying Danzo a few tis left Itachi visibly uncomfortable.

"Hahaha, Itachi, believe in yourself—you can do it."

Patting Itachi on the shoulder, Kazuki collapsed back on his lounge chair, laughing.

As for Danzo, he was visibly shaking with anger.

He probably never imagined that one day he’d suffer such humiliation; never in his wildest dreams did he think he might be sprayed with kid’s urine.

Looks like there’s no escaping it now.

Looking over at Kazuki, who was laughing uncontrollably, and the other seniors cackling along, Itachi could only reluctantly accept the task.

"Uchiha brat, do you know what will happen if you keep doing this?"

Kazuki had torn all pretense with Danzo; there was no more politeness. Danzo tried a different approach, knowing Itachi’s potential as Shisui had once said Itachi would surpass him and could even replace him.

Danzo hoped to break through using Itachi.

"Apologies, this is the captain’s order."

When the ten minutes were up, Itachi sighed and sprayed Danzo, coolly replying as Danzo seethed with fury.

Danzo’s tornt had officially begun.

He was continuously sprayed with water and only given one ration pill a day for food.

Though it kept hunger at bay, it had a serious drawback. overuse weakened the body, and poorly made, low-quality ration pills could even be toxic.

Kazuki certainly wasn’t about to supply Danzo with high-quality ones; it was enough that he got the crude version.

Trying to be picky? Absolutely not.

In just a few days, Danzo’s once-cozy cell beca a swampy ss.

It was hard to find even a dry spot to sit, and Danzo himself had grown thinner, with sunken eyes and his cheekbones starting to show.

Worst of all, he couldn’t get any proper rest.

Kazuki kept coming up with new ways to "entertain" him.

While Danzo suffered in Konoha’s prison, things in Konoha were far from calm. Tsunade’s determination had quickly reshaped the ANBU, which took a toll on those with unique abilities, especially the Yamanaka clan, as constantly invading others’ minds and mories was a draining task.

After stabilizing the ANBU, Tsunade turned her focus to other departnts.

First up were the Finance and Logistics Departnts.

"Tsunade, what’s the aning of this?"

The mont Finance and Logistics underwent reform, two advisory elders, Koharu and Homura, couldn’t sit still. They had been handling village matters when Tsunade blindsided them.

"I haven’t asked you two elders why you barged into the Hokage’s office, disrupting my work."

Tsunade wasn’t about to coddle them like the Third Hokage used to. She would handle them as necessary.

You’re so eager to stir up trouble for ?

Fine, I’ll strike first, using this chance to regain authority.

In the past, the Third Hokage had delegated control of Finance and Logistics to Koharu and Homura, which allowed Danzo to bypass the Third and acquire large amounts of funds and resources.

The two elders rarely limited Danzo, as long as he wasn’t excessive, often turning a blind eye.

But now Tsunade had decisively taken back control of these departnts, leaving the two elders in a panic. They went straight to the Hokage’s office, demanding an explanation from Tsunade.

"Tsunade, stop changing the subject. Finance and Logistics have been under our managent for a long ti. What’s your intention in reclaiming them now?"

Koharu, known for her fiery temper, took the lead in complaining, while Homura stood by as backup, as they had often done.

"What do I an?"

Tsunade couldn’t help but laugh at their audacity.

"From Konoha’s founding, it was clearly established that Finance and Logistics are under the Hokage’s direct control. The Third Hokage entrusted these departnts to you because he trusted you, but that was his choice. I, Senju Tsunade, will now personally oversee them. Do you two elders have an issue with that? Or do you want to go over the records of how Root and Danzo were able to acquire massive amounts of resources and funds from these departnts?"

I haven’t even started questioning you two.

Where do you get the nerve to cause a scene here?

The two elders, who had co in fuming, suddenly went silent as Tsunade’s anger flared.

Damn it, the fire was now on their side!

They knew this day would co, but not so quickly and fiercely.

Tsunade had pinned them in one move, yet she didn’t press further, easing up slightly.

"The two of you have done so much for the village; I acknowledge that. However, the Finance and Logistics Departnts are critical. As the Hokage, I need to manage them personally to prevent the mistakes of the past. Are you two unwilling to support that?"
