-------------------------------------------------------------

Even though he had experienced this kind of situation many tis, Jiraiya still couldn’t get used to it.

After all, a pot of stewed insects in all sorts of colors really didn’t et human dietary standards.

With his mouth full of bugs, Jiraiya threw up on the spot, vomiting ssily.

"Jiraiya, you’re still the sa as always. Why can’t you just enjoy a bug feast? You can’t stomach it, and neither can that kid Minato."

"I appreciate your kindness, but I’ll pass on the bugs. What did you two want to see for?"

Even though he knew perfectly well why, Jiraiya still played dumb.

"What do you think?"

As toads of Mount Myōboku, though their bodies were just tiny, Fukasaku and Shima stared at Jiraiya with dissatisfaction.

What did we want to see you for? Don’t you have a clue?

Under the unfriendly gazes of the two toads, Jiraiya drooped his shoulders dejectedly.

"Alright, what happened before was my fault. It involved Gamabunta and even made him fight with Manda. Is Gamabunta’s injury okay?"

"Hmm, it’s not too serious. Manda’s strength is only so-so. Gamabunta and he are old rivals anyway."

Jiraiya’s attitude was good, so Fukasaku nodded with satisfaction and reminded him:

"Jiraiya, this matter has made many toads quite unhappy. You need to be more careful next ti, understand? Even if that child is Minato’s descendant."

"Ahaha, there shouldn’t be a next ti."

The toads of Mount Myōboku needed an explanation for what had happened before. Fortunately, Jiraiya apologized, and his attitude was good. This should be enough to shut up those toads who had complaints.

Actually, it was just an accident. After all, Jiraiya hadn’t wanted to see Manda and Gamabunta fight.

Who knew why Manda had gone crazy, charging straight at Gamabunta and biting him with its mouth wide open?

Jiraiya had been completely dumbfounded at the ti.

After this incident of the summoned creatures fighting, Jiraiya didn’t dare to use Sasuke to provoke Naruto again.

As for Naruto’s training and practice... well, let’s just let things take their natural course.

Although he had experience taking care of children, the children he’d looked after before—whether the trio of Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato or Minato—were all much easier to handle than Naruto.

At least they weren’t as mischievous and troubleso as Naruto.

After several rounds of this, Jiraiya was left with quite a shadow.

He was afraid that this kind of stimulation would affect Naruto.

So, for the ti being, it was better to keep him and Sasuke separated. Out of sight, out of mind.

"If there’s nothing else, I’ll head back now."

"Jiraiya, are you sure you don’t want to try the feast I made with care?"

"....."

"No, no. Naruto is still waiting for at the ran shop. I’m afraid he’ll get worried if I’m away too long."

Jiraiya broke out in a cold sweat. He really wasn’t used to the food in Mount Myōboku. The Ichiraku Ran in Konoha was much tastier.

Afraid that the two toads would insist on him staying for the feast, Jiraiya made a quick escape.

The fight between two giant summoned creatures on the training grounds didn’t cause much of a stir. At most, it beca a topic for the villagers to chat about after als.

If it had been the Third Hokage, he would have imdiately sent people to control the

public opinion and try to keep Naruto out of it as much as possible.

Unfortunately, Tsunade wasn’t the Third Hokage.

What about Naruto?

The jinchūriki was also a person of Konoha. Were they afraid of people finding out about him?

It wasn’t like he was so kind of disgrace!

Besides, what was the use of hiding it? That black-hearted fellow Danzō had already spilled all of Naruto’s secrets. It was too late to try to hide things now.

Since there was nothing left to hide, they might as well let things take their natural course and treat him as a mber of Konoha.

Although the Third Hokage had approached Tsunade about this, she hadn’t paid him any mind.

There was too much official business to handle. Who had the ti and energy to bother with this?

After Sasuke, Naruto beca the second student in the class who didn’t need to attend school and could focus on training and practicing in private.

After Jiraiya returned, Kakashi was successfully freed from his duties. He handed Naruto back to Jiraiya, leaving him to teach the boy at his own pace.

"What? Do you want to give Naruto another challenge?"

Glancing at Jiraiya, who was carrying alcohol and quite a bit of food, Kazuki lowered his head and continued reading the docunts:

"Let make this clear first: I’m very busy and don’t have ti to drink with you. If you want to drink, you can go find Tsunade."

Kazuki had never been particularly interested in drinking. If Jiraiya had nothing better to do and ca to him for a drink, he was definitely looking in the wrong place.

"No, no. I ca to find you. Drinking with Tsunade is no fun."

Jiraiya quickly waved his hands, placed the things on the table, pulled over a chair, and sat down. Izumi, who was nearby, seed to want to say sothing but stopped herself.

She wanted to remind Jiraiya that there were many important docunts and scrolls on the table, but seeing that Kazuki didn’t react, she could only swallow her words.

’I give up. Instead of going to find Tsunade or your love-hate rival Orochimaru, you co to .’

Kazuki closed the docunt:

"Izumi, you can go out and take a break. If you have nothing to do, you can find Shizune to go shopping or grab sothing to eat."

After sending his little secretary away, Kazuki asked, "Alright, what is it?"

Jiraiya opened the bag, picked up a piece of at, stuffed it into his mouth, tasted it, and praised:

"I didn’t expect the things sold by you Uchiha to be so delicious."

Wasn’t this nonsense?

Although the Uchiha were a bit rigid and neurotic, did that an they didn’t need to eat?

Kazuki really wanted to kick Jiraiya out.

Seeing that Kazuki was growing impatient, Jiraiya finally got to the point.

"Naruto’s training progress is quite good. This kid really has talent. I can see Minato in him."

Minato?

Don’t joke around.

Kazuki crossed his arms, not buying it at all.

You see Minato in Naruto?

Sorry, but what I see in Naruto is you, Jiraiya!

Aside from his hair, this kid had nothing in common with his father.

"Alright, I mainly wanted to talk to you about Naruto’s training. I want to teach him the Rasengan, but I’m worried it might not be good for Naruto to learn these things too early."

"What’s wrong with it?"

It was sothing that would be taught to Naruto sooner or later. Was there any difference between learning it a little earlier or a little later?

It might even help Naruto and the Nine-Tails get along sooner.

"In the past, children graduated at seven or eight years old and went to the battlefield to kill enemies. Is Naruto still a child? A few years earlier, a troublemaker like him would have been led onto the battlefield by his teacher. Don’t tell that Sasuke can handle the darkness, but Naruto can’t."

The thods Orochimaru used to teach Sasuke were exceptionally dark, yet Sasuke was perfectly fine. Instead, his strength kept increasing, and he grew stronger day by day.

anwhile, Jiraiya was still worrying about these pointless issues with Naruto.

"Ahaha."

Jiraiya instinctively wanted to scratch his head, but when he noticed Kazuki’s expression turning sowhat unpleasant, he quickly stopped himself.

After all, it wasn’t very hygienic to scratch his head with the sa hand he’d just used to grab food.
