With her anger simring since early morning, Tsunade had to hold it in:
"I’ve thought about it carefully. I can’t agree to your proposal from last night for now. I’ll go back to the village with you and personally investigate when we return. Back in the village, Kazuki gestured at Tsunade, waved, and then vanished.
As for where Tsunade would go, it wasn’t his concern.
"Lord Hokage, Tsunade-hi has returned to the village."
In the Hokage’s office, the Third Hokage stood up excitedly upon hearing this.
He wasn’t sure if Tsunade would be willing to return.
The events back then hurt her deeply. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been running and hiding from the village all these years.
"It’s good that she’s back, really good."
Excitedly pacing the office, the Third Hokage asked:
"Notify Tsunade and Jiraiya to co see ."
The Daimyo’s matter couldn’t be delayed any longer; otherwise, all the Daimyos from various countries would co over.
"Yes."
The Anbu ninja respectfully complied, but suddenly hesitated and froze.
"What’s wrong?"
The Third Hokage looked at him puzzled. Didn’t I just tell you to notify them to co to the Hokage’s office?
"Lord Hokage..."
The Anbu ninja was silent for a few seconds, then lowered his head and replied:
"I didn’t see Lord Jiraiya."
"So, Tsunade returned alone?"
"No, she returned with Uchiha Kazuki, the captain of the police departnt, just the two of them."
Saying this, the Anbu ninja bowed his head even lower.

So that’s why you were hesitating. But why Uchiha Kazuki?

Thinking of her years of gambling addiction, Tsunade sighed and patted her forehead.
"Tsunade-hi, Lord Hokage requests your presence in the Hokage’s office."
The arrival of the Anbu ninja resolved Tsunade’s indecision.
"Got it, I’ll head there imdiately."
Since she couldn’t decide, she chose not to decide at all and went to the Hokage’s office first.
Without her reassurance, the Third Hokage wouldn’t feel at ease.
Making up her mind, Tsunade headed straight for the Hokage’s office.
Without knocking, she opened the office door. What seed like rudeness was actually the Third Hokage’s long-awaited anticipation.
The Third Hokage’s three disciples were all sowhat unconventional.
Tsunade barged in directly, Jiraiya liked to co through the window, and Orochimaru, who was sinister as a snake, was the most polite one.
"Old man, you really have aged."
Closing the door behind her, Tsunade glanced at the beaming Third Hokage and sighed.
"Tsunade, everyone ages. I’m glad to see you still so young."
"Cut it out! We’re all old."
Not only the Third Hokage, but even the Sannin were old.
Only Tsunade, thanks to her Yin Seal, could maintain the appearance of a woman in her twenties.
Uzumaki Mito was the sa until her health deteriorated, and she started showing her age.
"I won’t say much. I didn’t return to Konoha because of Jiraiya. As for the Daimyo’s matter, I actually don’t want to get involved. I want to rest and gather so information. I hope I won’t be too disappointed."

Tsunade then rembered she had followed Kazuki back to Konoha alone. Shizune should be with Jiraiya.
Indeed, habits are a terrifying thing.
Smiling self-deprecatingly, Tsunade moved her feet. She didn’t go to the Senju estate because she didn’t want to evoke mories.
