Takemura sat in Noa's house, the heavy tension showing clearly on his face. Nearby, Genta was just as stiff, though he tried to hide it so he would not scare Naruto. But Naruto could sense the dark mood perfectly, even at his young age. He was worried because he had really started to love his new ho. Before moving here, anger and sadness were all he had ever known, so he recognized those feelings imdiately. His eyes cast down, feeling the heavy weight in the room.

Noa had been missing for a couple of days now. The last thing Takemura knew was that the boy was busy with a task given personally by the Hokage. The fact that Noa had not spoken a single word about it ant it had to be sothing very dangerous.

What happened next only proved his worst fears. The quick arrival of the ANBU to seal away all of Noa's working scrolls said enough. Takemura had a bad feeling that it involved either a forbidden jutsu or very high-level fuinjutsu, and nothing good ever ca from accidents with those arts.

When Takemura visited the Hokage to demand exactly what Noa was working on, he saw sothing he never expected. The leader was sweating. Nervousness was clear on Fugaku's face, even as he promised that Noa would be fine and should return shortly. The Hokage’s own lack of confidence in his words only made Takemura’s fear worse.

Takemura balled his hands into tight fists, a protective rage burning in his eyes. "What did this village do to Noa? I won't forgive them... or the Hokage."

Naruto flinched, truly frightened by the older man's intense anger. Genta noticed the fear and the sadness behind Naruto’s downcast eyes, so he gently patted the boy's back.

"Big brother Genta... is Noa okay?"

A conflicted look flashed across Genta's face before he forced a calm expression. Putting a little bit of desperate hope into his voice as he replied, "I trust that Noa will be fine, Naruto. He is a tough one."

Hearing his son try to comfort Naruto, even though Genta himself was deathly worried about his friend, was the final straw. Takemura’s rage finally boiled over.

"Okay, that is it!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls. "I am going to the Hokage building, and I will get my answers even if I have to fight my way through the entire ANBU team! I am going to beat that new Hokage for whatever mistake he made, trusting sothing that dangerous to a kid!"

His chakra exploded, wild and out of control. He slamd his hand down onto the floorboards with so much force that a massive web of cracks spread through the heavy wood.

But in that exact second, a huge wave of chakra appeared out of thin air right in the middle of the large room. The space twisted, spinning wildly like a tornado trying to pull sothing massive into reality.

Reacting purely on instinct, Takemura flickered in front of Genta and Naruto, shielding them. They all froze in shock and fear, watching the crazy sight. The wild chakra finally gathered into a blurry shape.

Then, out of nowhere, Noa blinked into existence mid-air.

The wild chakra shape instantly collapsed, and Noa dropped, crashing hard onto the damaged floor.

"God damn it," was all Noa could say before he started groaning in pain.

Takemura shot to him imdiately and so did Genta. A look of terrible concern washed over Genta's face as he asked with a shaking voice, "Noa, what happened? Are you okay?"

Noa did nothing but keep groaning as Takemura’s eyes went wide. He noticed how alarmingly low the boy's chakra was and how badly he was injured. Noa had a deep cut extrely close to his eye. His entire body was covered in wounds and littered with ugly blue and purple patches. Dark blood pooled under so of those deep bruises, heavily hinting at severe internal damage.

Without a single word, Takemura scooped up Noa, who was still twisting in pain, and flickered toward the nearest hospital.

I opened my eyes slowly. I did not dare to move any part of my body. I rembered waking up to find the bear irritated, his crimson eyes shining with a deadly edge. "I had to stay here for a long ti to make sure you were not attacked by other animals. Make sure to pay for that." Before I could even respond, the world warped around and I was violently pulled from where I lay, appearing in my ho just to fall hard and make my bad injuries even worse.

I shook my head, trying to get my thoughts into order as I looked around the bed, noticing that moving my neck did not hurt much. That was a nice surprise.

The first face I saw was Ayaka. I cursed my luck, as I seem to keep running into her every ti I get seriously injured. She is one of the best dical ninja in the hospital, so I would say I got lucky. However, seeing the pure fury in her eyes, I started to sweat a lot.

I tried to escape her gaze and looked around the room, my shock growing with every second. I saw Shisui standing on the side, frustration clear on his face. Next to him was Itachi, who looked a bit concerned. Fugaku was there as well, watching with deep interest. Then there was Takemura, who was absolutely livid, shooting fiery looks at Fugaku. Finally, my eyes landed on Genta, who looked deathly worried before asking softly, "Noa... how do you feel?"

I started to move my body slowly, and to my amazent, there was barely any pain. I could sowhat vaguely feel that ti had passed, but my body had healed much faster than expected. I turned to Ayaka and said with a strained smile, "Thank you, Ayaka chan. Your work is, as always, perfect." A tick mark appeared on her forehead as she balled her hands, ready to knock unconscious again.

Fugaku coughed. "Thank you for your hard work, Ayaka, but I need to be alone with Noa for now." Ayaka sent a look that promised pain in my near future before she bowed slightly and left the room.

Fugaku looked at Takemura. The older man did not move, eting the Hokage's gaze with a challenge. Tension started to rise as Takemura said, "I want to know what happened. You cannot do this to one of our own without us at least knowing the reason for his disappearance."

My throat tightened a bit, and my chest filled with a warm feeling at the aning behind Takemura’s words. Shisui and Itachi moving protectively closer to Fugaku made the mood escalate further. Fugaku raised his hands to calm them down. "It is fine. I am sure Noa can explain what happened without any risk to the failsafe seal activating."

At the ntion of such a seal, Takemura stepped back slightly as he seriously considered leaving, not willing to risk my health.

I sighed and started speaking right away, not wanting to keep Takemura in the dark. "The task that you gave , Lord Hokage, requires to study summoning jutsus. In order to understand so important aspects, I learned, then perford, the summoning jutsu."

Shisui stared in complete disbelief as he asked, "You perford the summoning jutsu without having already signed a contract?"

The entire room fell into a shocked silence for a few seconds before Takemura reacted. "You stupid brat! That is like throwing your life away. Do you understand how dangerous that is?"

I wanted to speak up, however I could not deny that it was a stupid move.

I wanted to say sothing to lighten the mood, but the look in Takemura’s eyes left no room for jokes. Genta asked, looking puzzled, "Is it that dangerous to perform a summoning technique without already having a contracted animal?"

Takemura replied to his son with a warning tone while keeping his furious gaze on . "It is deadly. No one makes it unless they are extrely lucky. Even with the state that stupid brat ca back in, he was one of those lucky ones to be able to survive."

A huge grin appeared on my face, the confident smirk testing the limits of Takemura’s temper as I said, "I not only survived. I got a summon, too."

The entire room was stunned. Genta was the first to speak. "Really? Can I see it?"

Takemura’s fist rained down on his son's head, causing him to jump in pain and relaxing the tense mood a bit as I said, "Lord Hokage, I assure you that I will be more careful. The task should proceed smoothly from now on."

Fugaku observed for a long ti before nodding, pleased that the village had gained a new summoning contract. He probably thought that I had contracted a new animal clan, and that there might be a chance for more Konoha shinobi to sign contracts with that clan as well. However, he was going to be really disappointed once he learned about the solitary nature of my summon.

With a much brighter tone now, he said, "Make sure to do so. I will give more funds and any support personnel needed to ensure your safety. After all, we do not have many seal masters in the village."

I nodded. "Thank you, Lord Hokage."

As he left, Shisui narrowed his eyes and said, "We are not done. We will speak later." He then followed Fugaku. Itachi waved goodbye, a slightly shocked look still on his face as he turned and left as well.

Genta then spoke. "Dad, why did you hit ?"

Takemura responded, "You should never ask a shinobi about his summon. It is one of their most prized weapons and a hidden card. Unless he brings it up first, you should keep your curiosity to yourself." Genta nodded, a serious look appearing on his face as I smiled, happy that I have such amazing people caring for .

I looked around before saying, "Let us leave. I will use the window. I don’t want Ayaka to encounter without the Hokage’s protection."

As if she could hear from beyond the wall, the door slamd open, almost breaking in half. I saw her chakra practically leaking red from sheer rage as she approached slowly. I looked to Takemura for help, but he was already balling his fists as he spoke with a chilling tone. "Ti to teach you a lesson, you brat, for doing sothing so incredibly dumb."

Genta stayed in the corner, almost half covering his eyes as I scread for help, but no one heard .
