And besides, he didn’t have any other options left. To protect Hinami and the clan from starting a civil war, this is the best thod he could think of.

During all these years, she had noticed that many of the characters that were ntioned had different personalities than what was described. For example, we can take the world-famous Monkey Hiruzen Sarutobi.
In the original work, he was said to be a kind person who was very indecisive and would always hesitate when his gay friend Danzo ca to him with a dark plan. But from Izanami’s observation, that monkey was not indecisive at all.
Izanami had noticed many tis how he would disagree with Danzo on sothing, and after their quarrel, he would secretly send soldiers for Danzo’s help. Hiruzen always says that he didn’t want the Uchiha clan to rebel and wanted to accept them.
But Izanami knew that he was actually converting the Uchiha family’s land and fortune. The reason he even relocated them was that his Sarutobi family needed so land for their increasing population.
But what made Izanami feel even more disgusted about him was the Uzumaki clan massacre. This man, Hiruzen, went there with all his trusted elite ninjas and massacred many elders so they could rob all of the inheritance of the Uzumaki clan.
After robbing everything, they then took Kushina, who was at that ti was selected as the main heir, and rushed out of the clan without even looking at the other Uzumaki clan mbers.
This betrayal was also one of the reasons why the Uzumaki clan, which was very strong and had the power of a small ninja village, was destroyed in just two days. With Hiruzen killing most of the elders who were in charge of maintaining the barrier of Uzushiogakure, the other ninja villages were able to enter Uzushiogakure easily.
You know if this sudden betrayal hadn’t happened, then Uzushiogakure may have still survived. You know, fūinjutsu is a bug-like skill that would allow mortals to even challenge gods.
So with such a cheat code with them, how could the Uzumaki fail to protect themselves and lose to the enemy within just a few days?
Well, fortunately, Izanami was there in ti, or else the Uzumaki clan would definitely have been exterminated by Hiruzen.
In the original series, none of these dark things are actually ntioned. And so Izanami always had to use various ways to truly understand people's characters in order not to make a fool of herself.
“ I was testing whether you would be a worthy business partner. “ Izanami said as she took a fan from sowhere and used it to cover her face.
“ I see.“ Hiashi, who had cald down, sighed inwardly after hearing this. It seems he had not beco a sinner in the clan.
Izanami kept her smile, but only Hinami, who knew her better than anyone, knows that Izanami at this mont is very happy.
Although she didn't know the full plan, Hinami could guess so of what Izanami would have done if Hiashi failed this test and wanted to kill her or silence her.
In the worst-case scenario, although Izanami wouldn't kill him,, she would make sure the Hyuga clan would go into a civil war where the main family would have to pay a very deep price. And of course, the Hyuga family would also have to suffer many calamities one after another until the whole clan is destroyed.
Either that or, in the best-case scenario, Izanami would just make the whole Hyuga clan go bankrupt to the point where they would have to sell all of their belongings to finally pay off the debt.
Izanami is perfectly able to do each of these two, and Hinami didn't doubt even for a second that Izanami would spare the Hyuga clan.
