Manji did not distrust Kaguya.

He never planned for her to stay. Once everything was taken care of, he would send her back to where she belonged. Keeping her with him was never part of his plan.

Manji was even less interested in Kaguya's idea of going into business together.

Money also never interested him.

Any old artifact from Mount Myōboku's treasury could sell for tens of millions in the shinobi world. To Manji, money was just useless. If he ever took it seriously, he might even be able to make gold with Sage Arts.

"Still, there are more and more toads and White Zetsu on Mount Myōboku. Sooner or later, the mountain will need a real monetary system, or things will get unstable..." Manji rubbed his fingers together and started thinking.

He realized he needed soone to be the chief treasurer.

The shinobi world also needed soone to guide its flow of money from behind the scenes.

Lately, the world has beco more chaotic. It was slipping out of his control and resisting him.

He was not surprised by this. Because Manji had ignored the world for too long, faith in him had fallen sharply.

"Have I truly beco heartless?" Manji murmured to himself.

Maybe too much ti had gone by... It had been so long that Manji had forgotten he was once just a farr's child before he beca a Sage.

After thinking it over, he set the matter aside. Minor issues could wait. For now, he needed to focus on getting stronger.

In a flash, Manji returned to the great hall of Mount Myōboku.

He looked up at the high ceiling and raised his hand. The Six Paths Sword, which had hung there for years, ca down and landed in his palm.

Manji focused his power and tried to draw energy from the blade. In an instant, he pulled out a thin strand of pure Yin-Yang Release.

"The amount is small, but it is enough for now." Manji understood right away.

He did not dare take too much. If he went past the sword's limit, its core would collapse completely. If the Six Paths Sword broke, it would not be worth the risk.

Next, Manji used the power of the Dragon Vein inside him, wrapped it in Sage Chakra, and slowly combined it with the Yin-Yang Release in his hand.

"I cannot create the Pure Land out of nothing yet, but shaping a Reaper should be possible..."

He focused completely on blending the three forces. The chakra around him grew wild, and the air began to tremble. Soon, a tall phantom took shape in front of him.

It looked just like the Reaper that appeared with the Dead Demon Consuming Seal in the Naruto world.

"Not bad." Manji slowly pulled back his power and looked at the unconscious Reaper phantom, satisfied.

The Reaper's shadowy body stretched bit by bit. A faint light appeared in its empty eyes, and its pupils slowly ford. After a few seconds, a sense of self awakened deep inside, giving it real consciousness.

The Reaper raised its eyes and looked at Manji.

As soon as it was created, Manji had set an unbreakable rule deep in its soul.

[Manji's commands stand above all else. His orders take absolute priority.]

"Master." The Reaper held a short blade in its teeth. The old prayer beads on its chest swayed as it bowed deeply to Manji.

Manji stood with his hands behind his back, a slight smile on his face. "No need for ceremony."

This Reaper's abilities were copied from Manji's own Rinnegan.

His Rinnegan could seize and control souls, and now that sa power had been given to the Reaper.

"However, you have only just been born, and your power is still weak. If I asked you to face an extrely powerful soul, could you devour it successfully?"

Manji asked calmly.

The Reaper paused slightly before answering with so hesitation. "Master, may I ask what level of soul you an?"

Manji did not explain. He moved a finger, and a gentle force wrapped around a sleeping soul-shadow as it slowly erged.

It was the soul of Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo.

"How about this one?" Manji asked, testing it.

The Reaper stared for a mont, then shook its head seriously.

Manji then summoned the souls of Indra and Asura in turn. "What about these?"

"No."

The Reaper shook its head again. It was clear it could not yet handle souls that strong.

Manji nodded.

The Reaper was still new. It had not reached its legendary full power yet and could not seal anyone it wanted.

"Master, as long as you release and allow to harvest enough souls, my power will continue to grow step by step," the Reaper said in a deep voice.

Manji chuckled softly. His calm voice left no room for argunt. "That is exactly what I want. But I will not let you kill at random or devour innocent souls without limits."

The Reaper nodded and respectfully waited for Manji's arrangent.

"But I can set up a way for you to kill with permission. I'll take care of that myself."

Manji looked at the Reaper.

Then he took out a blank scroll and swiftly sealed the Reaper inside it.

........

"So the Reaper of the Dead Demon Consuming Seal was created by my own hands." Manji let out a thoughtful sigh. The Reaper was finished. Now it was ti to work on the Pure Land.

"Still, I should set the Reaper's path first."

Manji shifted through space and arrived directly in the southeastern region of the main continent.

The southeastern sea near Uzushio Island.

As soon as he arrived, the sounds of battle hit him. War cries filled the air. Chakra blasts and clashing ninjutsu thundered across the sea, and the whole area was caught up in war.

A fierce battle for the island was raging between the Uzumaki Clan and the Hōzuki Clan.

"So the Shinobi world is fighting everywhere..."

Manji hovered in the air and looked down at the battlefield, where both sides fought each other without stopping.

In the past, he had focused mostly on the constant fights between the Uchiha and Senju. Because of that, he rarely noticed the wars between other shinobi clans.

Fukasaku and Black Zetsu probably kept a closer eye on these clans than he did.

With a thought, a faint chakra glow spread around Manji. In an instant, he changed into an old man with white hair and a beard, wrapped in a heavy cloak.

Then Manji paused, as if he had just rembered sothing.

He quietly gave the Reaper another command.

Anyone who used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal would have to pay with their own soul. The Reaper would take their soul as the price for using the technique.

"Next, I need to find the right person."

Manji decided to give the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to the Uzumaki Clan.

Once the Uzumaki got such a powerful sealing technique, they would definitely use it.

When that happened, the Reaper would be able to collect souls and grow stronger.

After a hundred years of gathering souls, the Reaper would be strong enough to seal the tailed beasts.
