The two weeks following Naruto first official eting the Kyuubi were eventful.
The first two days He spent it training his body early in the morning and then spend the rest of the day with his mother and little sister.
The attack on his life and lost of his father and big sister took a toll on him ntally. But spending ti with his mum and baby sister made him lighten up. He may have lost so precious people, but he still has two people who are very close to his heart and he will put the upmost effort to protect them.
Considering that all his stuff, books and training equipnt ca from the fire capital after those two days, He spent those two days with his family and training his body.
As soon as His mother's clone brought His belongings from the fire capital, His training and studying routine resud even stronger than before. He was very excited when he got his things back especially his sword Yamato. But he was also a bit sad that he had to leave his animal friends behind. He wanted to bring them but he couldn't bring himself to take them from their ho. As for the fruit trees, he easily planted so new ones in the garden of the Senju compound.
On the 16th of October, The funeral for the fallen in the Kyuubi attack was held.
Hiruzen had stabilized the situation enough so the funeral can be held. The news of the kyuubi's attack on Konoha has spread to all the other nations. Hiruzen had to secure the borders of the land of fire. Nobody in Konoha wanted the other four nations to take the Kyuubi attack on Konoha as an opportunity to invade the land of fire.
Naruto attended the funeral with his mother who was carrying Mito in her arms. Dressed in black funeral clothes, Naruto put two white roses in front of Minato's and Kushina's pictures as tears fell from his eyes silently.
Most of attendees of the funeral watched Naruto silently. Even though they wanted to protest about his presence, no one was brave enough to say it. The news of Naruto killing so of the people who attacked him has reached all corners of the village. What terrified them even more is that He at eight years of age killed Shinobi including a jonin.
Even though most of Konoha's citizens think of Naruto as the Kyuubi, they are afraid to do anything fearing to die in his hands. By so way, Naruto's relation to Tsunade wasn't leaked. Those who knew about it kept their mouths shut fearing retaliation from Tsunade if Naruto got hurt beacuse of them. And to most of Konoha's population, Tsunade's presence with Naruto seed like she is keeping him in check. Even though Tsunade and Naruto don't share the sa hair or eye color, Konoha's population seems to be blinded by hate to see that most of Naruto's facial features are identical to Tsunade making them a mother and son.
To Tsunade, it seed to be for the best. Naruto's status as the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki is already leaked even though there is no real evidence behind it. This luckily kept him safe from assassination attempts or put in the Bingo book. No other shinobi village would waste man power or money on a re rumor. But if Naruto status as the Senju heir also got leaked, the consequences might be severe.
After the funeral ended, Naruto returned to his Training and studies. He had already processed the lost of Minato and Kushina before the funeral. He attended the funeral to say the final goodbye.
After the funeral by a couple of days, Most of the shinobi clan heads ca with their families to visit and welco back Tsunade for her return. They also ca to officially et the Senju heir as their first impression of letting him fend for himself in the village was already bad enough. Naruto t each family with just formal welcomings and a blank face.
But when the Uchiha clan head Fugaku ca with his family, Naruto t him with the sa welcoming and blank face but smiled warmly at Mikoto and her children much to Tsunade's surprise. Naruto explained to her that Mikoto was the only one to visit him or more precisely Mito during their stay in the hospital. Hearing that, Tsunade smiled at her and welcod her warmly.
Baby Sasuke seed to also enjoy the visit as he giggled and clapped his hands when Naruto took him from Mikoto to put him in the nearby crib where Mito was sleeping. Seeing Sasuke happy in Naruto's arms drew a smile on Mikoto's face but it caused Fugaku to feel surprised and a little bewildered as Sasuke took soti to finally stop crying when ever he was in Fugaku's arms. Fugaku's gloomy frowning face scared him and took soti getting used to seeing it.
In those two weeks, as Naruto promised, he visited the Kyuubi at least once everyday. They spent ti together in Naruto's Mindscape. The Kyuubi appreciated the gesture but it didn't reach the point of giving its na and talk about itself yet.
In this period of ti, Naruto found out that his chakra capacity increased multiple tis over. Now there is no one in the village that remotely has a similar amount. He also found out that his sharingan gained another tomoe making it a fully mature sharingan. If the Uchiha found out that an eight years old kid from outside their clan achieved a fully matured sharingan, They might die of anger and self-pity especially that the kid is the Senju heir.
Naruto also felt his instincts telling him that he could push the Sharingan to a new level. So while in front of a mirror, He pushed more chakra into his already active three tomoe sharingan. He was only able to glimpse apon his sharingan transforming to the shape of two overlapping shuriken before he felt an excruciating pain erupt in his mind and body. The pain was so great that it made his mouth open in a silent scream while he hunched over covering his eyes with both his hand. He instinctively cut the chakra flow to his eyes making his eyes return to their normal sapphire blue eyes and the pain subside.
'what was that? and why is it so painful? I never felt such strong pain before.' thought Naruto to himself as he fell to his knees and panted heavily. The pain and his effort to endure it made him really out of breath.
'That is the Mangekyo Sharingan. The next level of the Sharingan. Even though your chakra can support those eyes, the pain seems to indicate that your body and mind aren't mature enough yet to handle the strain that those eyes inflict on you. When you told before that you had the sharingan, I thought that you might achieve this level much later... You continue to surprise , Naruto.' said The Kyuubi from inside Naruto's mindscape in a bit of a proud tone. The stronger its Jinchuuriki the better. Naruto knew enough Fuinjutsu to loosen the seal by a very small amount so the Kyuubi can see and hear what happens outside while also communicate with him.
The Kyuubi still loathes The sharingan and the Uchiha clan, Uchiha Madara and The masked Uchiha in particular. But it made a clear exception for Naruto. The boy ca to visit it daily at least once to talk and keep it company. No one have ever done that. He even told it about his bloodlines as a sign of trust.
When the Kyuubi first known that Naruto has the Sharingan it was extrely alard due to its past experiences with these eyes. But it soon cald down a lot as Naruto never gave him the sa dark feeling that it could feel from other Uchihas. In addition, Naruto is always welcoming and happy to see or talk to it. The bright and warm feeling of his chakra is a clear indication. The boy seems to keep his promises well.
The Kyuubi chuckled to itself in a bit of irony. Its new Jinchuuriki has four out of five thods that can be used to suppress it. And Naruto never remotely threatened it with the use of any of them. The Kyuubi really lucked out with its new Jinchuuriki. A strong host with a huge potential, but still extrely kind to those who deserve it.
Now talking about Tsunade's ultimatum in Danzo's case. When the news reached him that Hiruzen has already agreed to Tsunade's conditions, It caused him to have a rage episode that ended with his ho office completely destroyed.
To him that was outrages, After all what he did for the village, is this how he is treated? To lose his Root and council seat all together was a heavy blow to him the he won't take silently. He cursed Tsunade and her son while promising to have his revenge. He still had a few Root Shinobi who are fiercely loyal to him after all.
At present ti; in the Hokage office;
Tsunade is standing in front of the Hiruzen as he summoned her earlier.
"I called you to discuss about Naruto's enrolnt to The shinobi academy" said Hiruzen while smoking his trusty old pipe.
" You surely must be kidding, Sensei. You want to enroll my son, who all of the village know he is capable of killing Jonin, in to the academy with other children?" asked Tsunade in bewildered tone.
"I know he is strong, Tsunade. But currently his only anchor to the village is you and the attack on him made everything worse. I just want him to make so friends his age. He can graduate after a couple of week. just make him encounter children his age range for a bit first." said Hiruzen.
Tsunade stayed quiet for a bit before saying: "Fine Sensei. I will talk to him about it."
" That is all i ask" said Hiruzen with a smile to which Tsunade nodded before leaving the office.
A while later; In the Senju compound;
Tsunade sat with Naruto who had a towel around his neck with his hair being quite ssy. He had just finished talking a shower after an intense physical workout.
Tsunade told him what she and Hiruzen discussed making him silent for a while thinking.
" I am ok with the arrangent mum. I am actually quite intrigued to see what the acaday is like." said Naruto making Tsunade nod.
"Mum" called Naruto after a period of silence making Tsunade look at him.
"Be more careful when dealing with the Sandai and his advisors." said Naruto in a serious tone greatly surprising Tsunade.
"Why do you say that Naruto?" asked Tsunade in a surprised tone.
"Don't worry I will still respect him and call him Saru-jiji. But don't you find the period of his rule strange.?" said Naruto making Tsunade give him questioning look.
"Firstly he gave that man, Danzo, His own Anbu-like organization that he seems to used to undermine The sandai's authority repeatedly. Two shinobi organizations with different leaders in the sa village is never a good thing." said Naruto making Tsunade nod slowly
" Secondly, During his rule, The Senju clan was reduced to just you and . Uzushiogakure, where the Uzumaki used to live, was destroyed leaving you, Mito and I as the last of their lineage. This village continuously lost its Kage-rank shinobi to mysterious and weird incidents. All of that happened while the Sandai and his advisors clans seem to be doing well maybe even thriving. Don't you find that suspicions?" said Naruto seriously making Tsunade think deeply.
After staying for a while she looked at Naruto with a serious look and said: " what you are saying does seem suspicious but it is still an extrely dangerous thing to say. Never ever discuss this with anyone. Only discuss it with , ok? I will look into it." Making Naruto nod before leaving to go and start his studies.
Tsunade sat quietly thinking about what she heard from her son. so of his concerns have been on her mind before.
Her expression hardened. She is going to look in to these concerns quietly.
