Few months later;
Naruto's days in the academy were utterly boring.
The teachers ignore him as much as they could due to hatred and fear but Naruto didn't care. Everything that is being taught in the academy he already knows along ti ago. He really is disappointed by the level of the academy curriculum for all its years. It is laughably easy for him.
He told his mother about the situation which she reported to the Sandai. At first, Hiruzen wanted Naruto to at least complete a whole year in the academy before graduating, but after so talks with Tsunade and Naruto they all agreed to let Naruto graduate at the end sester. Naruto's graduation will be the fastest in the academy's history.
Naruto won't the youngest to graduate but he sure will be the fastest.
As for his classmate, he ignored them as they did to him. The only ones that ever interested him are three.
The first two he got to know were older than him by a year or two. In the first couple of days in the academy Naruto used the break period to quickly eat and catch up with his kenjutsu training with his trusty wooden sword in academy training grounds.
In one of these breaks as he was training, two academy students approached him and asked about his kenjutsu training.
They introduced themselves as Yugao Uzuki and Hayate Gekko. Yugao is pretty young girl with brown eyes and a long straight purple hair while Hayate is a young boy with dark eyes and a short brown hair. They were both very interested in kenjutsu, that is why they approached Naruto. Naruto was quite happy to make two friends that were near his age and have sothing in common which was their love for kenjutsu. But sothing worrying caught Naruto's eye's.
Hayate's skin complexion seem to be very slightly pale in an unhealthy way and his breathing seem to be very slightly uneven with an occasional cough. This things may go over the heads of most people but not Naruto. With his deep studies in dicine he knew sothing was wrong. He advised Hayate to get checked in the hospital which Hayate brushed off saying that it is nothing to worry about and it would go away soon.
In the future, Hayate will co to deeply regret not taking Naruto's advice.
The other academy student didn't interacte with Naruto, but his constant change in emotions that Naruto felt when ever that student looked at him made Naruto pinpoint him.
Naruto found out that this student is called Iruka Umino. Iruka is a young boy with brown hair with dark eyes. But what stands out is the long scar that runs horizontally on his face above his nose which seed very new.
Most tis Iruka looks at Naruto with hatred and loss, other tis he looks at Naruto with regret and sadness. This changes in emotions is quite puzzling to Naruto. All in all the boy didn't approach Naruto and Naruto left him alone.
All the other academy students seems to avoid him either because of their fear, hatred or because their parents told them to do so.
After about a week in the academy, Naruto started to send a shadow clone in his place. He only went in person if there was a need to which was very rare. The only one who knew about Naruto skipping academy classes was Tsunade which she had no problem with as Naruto used that ti in his own Training and studies.
Naruto's daily schedule for those months was packed. The early morning is were most of his physical workout and Training is. Most of the ti he trains alone which was convenient as he works on his Taijutsu and Kenjutsu styles and incorporate his bloodlines with is them, specially the sharingan. Soti his mum joined him in the training to continue training Naruto in her own Taijutsu style. Naruto also trained with Guy whenever he was available as he is often absent from the village due to missions.
Shinobi can't stay idle in the village in this critical ti period, especially Jonin like Guy.
In the late mornings after Naruto shower and clean himself, He could be found in his Mother's office in the hospital training under her in everything that is related to dicine and dical ninja. When he returned ho in the evening, he trains his control over his chakra Natures with his shadow clones and also dispel the clones he made during the early morning in patches so he won't overload his brain. These clones were responsible for studying books, scrolls and Fuinjutsu.
His Fuinjutsu skills is coming up nicely. Soon enough he will enter the Master rank of Fuinjutsu by Uzumaki standards.
Anything that didn't require his imdiate attention or anything physical he left it to his shadow clones which is a huge helper as they accelerated his training progress by years maybe even decades.
There was also so progress in his relations in his the village. Firstly, he t another Uchiha nad Shisui who is a year older than him. He t him when he ca across him training with Itachi in a training grounds near the uchiha clan compound. Itachi introduced them to each other and they went along quite well after that. The three of them trained with each other sotis and beca quite good friends. Their friendship is unkownto the villae masses for now, but when it evidently beco known it will cause quite the stir in the village.
The heir and the genius of the Uchiha being friends with the Senju heir will cause quite the ruckus among the clans and Hokage's circle.
Secondly, Naruto ca to know the Ino-Shika-cho families and beca quite close to them.
Flashback;
Naruto was going ho after leaving the hospital. He left on his own a bit early today as his mother beca busy with sothing that ca up and she is going to be ho quite late.
As he walked, he reflected on his training and how he is quickly progressing thanks to the shadow clones. He also smiled a relived smile as he thought about them. They are really a godsend for his training and also in taking care/ keeping an eye on Mito. Who would have thought that taking care of babies is such a hassle. Don't get him wrong, he loves his baby sister dearly, but as she grew, she beca even more handful to deal with. The mories of his clone, that helps his mother's own clone to take care of Mito, tells him all what he need to know. Even his mum said that taking care of Mito is a challenge for her as he was quite a calm baby compared to Mito.
As Naruto was walking towards the Senju compound he ca across a familiar park with a children playground. He always ca across this park when he ca back from the hospital so their was nothing new. But today sothing caught is senses and eyes. In a quiet corner of the park, under the shade of a tree sat two familiar n. Naruto knew them as he t them before when they ca to visit him and his mum. Shikaku Nara and Inoichi Yamanaka, The clan heads of the Nara and Yamanaka clan respectively. They are also the Jonin commander and the head of the intelligence division respectively.
Naruto is puzzled on why people of their standing are in a park but it has nothing to do with him. He was about to leave when his eye fell on what was between the two n, It looked like a board ga of so sorts that intrigued him as he was unfamiliar with it. He also wanted to know what kind type of board ga would interest two of the greatest minds of the village. As he looked back at the two n he found out that they were looking back at him with a hint of surprise on their faces. He sighed internally, he now had to go greet them out of respect.
A few minutes earlier;
"Leaving the serious talk behind, how are your days going, Shikaku?" asked Inoichi.
"They are quite troubleso, either at work or ho or at work. It is my first alone ti in weeks." said Shikaku with a tired sigh.
Both n were very busy since the attack of the Kyuubi while also being a first ti parent. The past two and a half month were very hectic and tiring for both of them. Even now as they take a break to play shogi, they discussed their work while playing until Inoichi cut it by asking Shikaku about his day.
"that bad huh?" asked Inoich with a chuckle as he moved one of his peices.
"Yeah, every ti I go ho Yoshino want to do sothing as if I was relaxing all day. That troubleso woman will be the end of . I thank my lucky stars that Shikamaru is a quiet baby or I would have lost my mind by now." said Shikaku with an irritated tone as he scratched his head while moving one of his Shogi peices.
Inoichi chuckled lightly before saying: "well my friend, It is the opposite for . My sweet Ino is very tiring to handle. I can't even get enough sleep at night from how often she cries. Break tis like now is really a blessing, don't you think?" as he tried to make a plan for his next move
"Yeah it really is. This is my first ga of Shogi in weeks. can you believe how troubleso that is?" said Shikaku, as soon as he finished talking his eyes looked to the side allowing him to see a familiar young boy making him pause and look at him.
"I feel you Shikaku. I also haven't visited my clan's flower shop in weeks. At least we have sothing in common." said Inoichi as he move one of his peices. He then looked at Shikaku to see what his next move will be only to see him looking to the side. He followed Shikaku's line of sight to see what is he looking at only to be surprised by a familier young boy.
Both of them watched as the boy walked towards them until he stood near them.
"Good afternoon, Nara-san and Yamanaka-san." said Naruto repectfully.
"Good afternoon, Naruto. Quite the surprise to see you here. Shouldn't you be in the academy at this ti?" said Shikaku as Inoichi nodded.
"I really don't learn anything new from the academy so I go and learn under my mum in the Hospital while sending a shadow clone to the academy. This is my usual ho route from the hospital so I was quite surprised to see you." said Naruto surprising the two n.
"The academy can't be that bad, can it?" asked Inoichi
"I wouldn't say it is bad. But I already learned all what the academy has to offer before enrolling, so I didn't see the point of wasting my ti there, Yamanaka-san." said Naruto making the two n quiet for a bit.
Shikaku then asked: "You play Shogi, Naruto?" as he pointed at the board. The question surprised Inoichi but also intrigued him as he wanted to see what Shikaku wanted to do.
"I don't know how to play, Nara-san. It is my first ti hearing and seeing this board ga." said Naruto
"Do you want to learn how to play?" asked Shikaku
"Yes please, I would appreciate you teaching , Nara-san." said Naruto making Shikaku nod. He then moved the board to face him and Naruto and then returned the peices to all it starting places.
"co and sit." said Shikaku making Naruto nod and take a seat infront of him.
"This ga is called Shogi. It is a strategic board ga in which...." Shikaku explained all the basics and the rules of the ga to which Naruto listened carefully.
"...and that is all I can teach you about shogi. You will get better the more you play. Ready to play now?" asked Shikaku as he finished explaining.
"Yes, Nara-san." replied Naruto.
"Ok then. You make the first move." said Shikaku making Naruto nod and make his first move.
The ga between Naruto and Shikaku extended to about an hour long. Inoichi,who was watching from the side, was quite surprised. He thought that Shikaku would end the ga in a couple of move. Low and behold, Both Shikaku and Naruto are so focused that they didn't utter a word since the ga an hour ago.
"Tsumi.'Checkmate'" said Shikaku as he brought the long ga to an end.
"Thanks for the ga, Nara-san. I really enjoyed it." said Naruto with a smile.
"It was a good ga. I am glad you enjoyed it, Naruto. How about we play again in the weekend?" said Shikaku inviting Naruto to co and visit the Nara compound.
"That would be great Nara-san. Thanks for the invite." said Naruto with a polite smile before saying: "if you excuse , I am going to leave." to which both n nodded.
Naruto stood up and patted his clothes to free them from dirt and grass. He then looked at both n and bowed slightly while saying: "I will go first. Thank you for your ti Nara-san and Yamanaka-san. See you later." He then straightened himself and started to walk away.
As Naruto walked into the distance. Shikaku looked at Inoichi and said: "That boy's intellect is monstrous, Inoichi."
Inoichi was greatly surprised by what Shikaku has said. He has known him since the both of them were in diapers and he never described anyone like that.
"I know for a fact that this is the boy's first ga of shogi. It was apparent from his first few moves. But as the ga progressed he beca very hard to predict and counter. His ability to think and strategize is terrifying. If the younger when I was double that boy's age played against him, I would have lost. Only my experience saved ." said Shikaku increasing Inochi's shocked silence.
"I will ask Hokage-sama to add an IQ test to the boy's graduation exam. We maybe looking at the next Tobirama Senju, maybe even greater. It would be great for our clans to get close to him." said Shikaku.
Flashback end.
Since then, Naruto visited the Nara compound a couple of tis, soti Tsunade and Mito ca with him, there he t the entire Head familys of the famous Nara, Yamanaka and Akimichi clans.
Everyti Naruto visited, he played aganist Shikaku at least once. It didn't take long until Naruto won his first ga aganist Shikaku which stunded the Three families greatly. Since then, Naruto won so gas against Shikaku but he also lost so. All in all his number of losses decrease over ti. Inoichi and Choza tried to play aganist him but they never stood a chance.
At present ti; the night before the gradution exam;
Naruto just finished getting prepared for bed. He was excited for tomorrow. Not for the exam but for the New chapter of his life that will begin after that exam.
"Good night mom." said Naruto to his mother who was putting Mito to sleep.
"Good Night Naru. Are you ready for tomorrow?" asked Tsunade with a smile that hides a bit of sadness.
Her baby boy is growing up too fast for her liking. Tomorrow he going to beco a ninja, an adult in the eyes of the world. She silently cursed this cruel world.
"Yes I am ready, mum. I will make you proud." said Naruto as he went to his room.
"You already did, Naruto. You always did." muttered Tsunade to herself as a silent tear of pride, joy and sadness fell from her eye.
From Tomorrow, a Shinobi nad Naruto Senju will be unleashed on to the Ninja world.
And the world may not be ready for Him.
