Seeing the Kiri genin using poison, Anko took out her own poison-laced Kunai and continued to trade strikes with Masaru. But soon shallow cuts started to appear on Anko's body, with her being unable to do the sa to Masaru due to the reach of his long blade that helped him stay out of Anko's Kunai range.
Seeing the cuts on Anko and her inability to retaliate made Masaru chuckle mockingly before saying, "What is wrong? Having trouble reaching ?"
This seems to annoy Anko as she throws a couple of poison-laced Kunai and Shuriken at Masaru, who dodges and blocks them while laughing.
"Co on, entertain . I want to enjoy making you suffer." He said with a twisted tone of voice as he clashed with Anko once more.
As Masaru and Anko fought more, Masaru found out that his poison wasn't having the desired effect on Anko, making him more excited.
Being a snake summoner and a forr student of Orochimaru gave Anko a high tolerance to most poisons.
"You seem to have so tolerance to poison. In that case…." Masaru said before jumping away from Anko, giving him a bit of distance as he started to weave hand seals.
'Suiton: Kirigakure no Jutsu' (Water Release: Hiding in Mist Technique)
With hands fixed in a ram seal, Mist started to appear through the bandage where Masaru's mouth should be and started to spread quickly.
(A/N: Masaru is using his mouth to produce mist as there are no water sources nearby.)
In the participants' booth;
The red Sharingan eyes under Naruto's lenses copied Masaru's Jutsu easily (he activated it when he saw Masaru about to weave hand seals), but Naruto wasn't happy at all. That can be seen with his fists clinching with worry as his fists clenched as he looked at the arena below. His eyes can't see through the thickening mist, but he could still sense the Chakra signatures inside.
"This is bad." Naruto muttered to himself as he deactivated his eyes. Kakashi's worry was correct, and the worst-case scenario happened.
Anko is now in trouble. Her opponent is confird to be a candidate for the Seven Swordsn of the Mist. To Naruto, it isn't a problem, but to Anko, it is a huge problem. She can't see or feel Chakra through the mist. She also doesn't have any wide-range Fuuton Jutsu to counter the mist. Right now, Anko is a sitting duck in the mist.
Naruto just hopes that Anko could hold on until the Jutsu is undone, as he could sense the Jutsu quickly draining Masaru's reserves.
(A/N: The usage of the hidden in the Mist jutsu drains the user's chakra as the Mist is made entirely of the user's chakra. The chakra consumption increases if the area of effect is larger, no nearby sources of water or the area of effect is dry or hot. So a genin could only use this jutsu for a short amount of ti.)
Back in the arena grounds;
Anko looked around in the thick mist, trying to detect any sound or movent, but couldn't.
"This jutsu is famous for its use in assassinations, but I will use it today to enjoy making you bleed." Masaru's voice echoed through the mist, making it hard for Anko to pinpoint the source.
Thinking that Masaru rembered her location before the mist settled, Anko moved quietly away from her original location, but that did little as she was attacked out of nowhere, leaving a cut on her body that started to bleed.
"It is no use. You can't get away. I can hear every step and every breath you take." Masaru's voice echoed before he struck again.
For the next thirty seconds or so, Anko endured slashes, Kunai, and Shuriken directed at her. She blocked so, but most of them left their mark on her body, leaving her bleeding. Her bleeding beca so severe that she beca disoriented due to blood loss and lost control of her legs, making her fall to her knees.
It was a good thing that the mist was starting to lift around her, but that did little to help her in her situation.
As the mist lifted, nurous gasps ca from the crowd at the sight of Masaru standing a bit away from the immobilized and heavily injured, and bleeding Anko.
"Ahh, you look so much better while you are bleeding like that. Let's increase it a bit, shall we?" Masaru said with a twisted smile as he threw more Kunai and Shuriken at Anko.
Seeing the incoming attack, Anko couldn't move; her legs were heavily injured, and she had lost too much blood. However, she forced her arms to move and used the Kunai in her hand to block the incoming projectiles.
She was able to block so of the incoming projectiles, but the others hit her already heavily injured body her body.
"Damn it." Anko breathed out as her world went dark and she fell unconscious. Her body has reached its limits.
"Tsk. Are you already finished? I will just finish you off since you can't entertain anymore." Masaru said as he rushed toward Anko's unconscious form with his blade drawn.
"Stop, Masaru of Kiri." Isamu ordered, but it had fallen on deaf ears as Masaru was too intoxicated with bloodlust to hear him as he neared Anko and was about to strike.
Seeing this, Isamu moved with high speed and captured Masaru in a headlock while pulling him away from Anko.
"Didn't I order you to stop? Are you asking to be disqualified?" Isamu said in a serious tone, after which Masaru seed to calm down reluctantly.
"Winner by incapacitation, Masaru of Kiri." Isamu declared as he let go of Masaru.
With the match ending, the dics rushed towards the unconscious Anko.
"I enjoyed our ti, Konoha genin." Masaru said with a twisted chuckle as he walked towards the exit.
In the stands, there were so applause and cheers that ca from the crowd, but they were very few compared to the first match, as most of the attendees were uncomfortable with the bloody scene in front of them.
In the Kage booth, Silence covered the booth as the second match ended. Hiruzen sighed. Upon seeing the ergence of the mist jutsu, he knew that Anko had very little chance of victory.
In the participants' booth, Naruto's hand clenched around the tal railing as he looked with anger and worry at the predicant Anko is in right now.
