In the infirmary;
Naruto entered the room intending to heal his wounds. As he entered, he was spotted by Anko, who was about to call out to him but stopped upon seeing his wounds and how disheveled he was.
"Naruto, are you ok?" Anko said with worry in her tone.
"I am fine, Anko. These are just surface wounds. I just need to clean and bandage them then I will need a change of clothes." Naruto said with a reassuring smile before going to the furthest bed in the infirmary and pulling the privacy curtains around him.
"Did you win, Naruto?" Anko called out
"Of course I did, Anko. Did you think otherwise?" Naruto said from behind the curtains with amusent in his voice.
"Well, excuse , mister. You entered the infirmary with cuts on your arms, chest, and abdon. So, I am sorry that I thought sothing bad happened," Anko replied with a huff
"As I said, it is superficial wounds with no internal injuries. Yugito was quite difficult to deal with." Naruto said
Anko was about to say sothing, but so people entered the infirmary.
The dical staff carried the still unconscious Yugito on a stretcher before putting her on a bed beside Anko's. After setting her on the bed, the infirmary doctor started to check on her.
As the doctor worked, Mabui and Samui entered the infirmary with a look of concern on their faces.
Seeing the bed that Yugito was on, the two rushed to stand by it.
"Sensei, is Yugito going to be ok?" Mabui asked with worry in her tone as the doctor completed the check-up.
(A/N: To those who don't know, people in Japan call a doctor 'Sensei' as a sign of respect when addressing him/her)
"She will be fine. Other than bruises, superficial wounds, and overuse of chakra, there is nothing serious. As long as she gets enough rest and let her bruises heal along with her chakra network, then everything will return to normal." The doctor replied, calming down the two worried genin.
"Thank you, Sensei." Mabui said with a slight bow along with Samui.
After cleaning Yugito's wounds, treating her bruises and bandaging her, the dical staff left the genin resting and left the infirmary.
"So, how was the final match?" Anko asked, as she tried to strike a conversation to break the silence.
"It was cool and very intense," Samui replied
"Yeah, these two are on a different level. By the way do, you know Where Naruto is?" Mabui said, looking around
"Right here," Naruto said as he pulled back the curtains, making the others look at him.
Naruto was wearing a fresh set of clothes with bandages on his arms and under his shirt. He didn't need the bandages though. As soon as he was out of sight behind the curtains, he let his healing factor loose, making all his wounds close in a matter of monts. But for the sake of appearances, he, along with the help of a shadow clone, wrapped the places where he had wounds with bandages.
"You ok, Naruto? That fight between you and Yugito was sothing else." Mabui asked, looking at Naruto's bandages
"Yeah, I am fine. Nothing that would take too long to heal." Naruto said with a reassuring smile
"Was the match really that intense?" Anko asked
"It was. They destroyed parts of the arena." Mabui said with a bit of disbelief in her voice
"Naruto's strength is cool. He was able to crack the ground open with just his fist." Samui said with slight awe, making Naruto scratch the back of his head in embarrassnt.
"It is nothing really," Naruto said with slight embarrassnt.
"So, who do you think is going to be promoted to Chunin?" Anko asked
"That is sothing that is up to the Kage. Promotion has a lot of different requirents, but we will know soon enough." Naruto said with a shrug, making the others nod in agreent.
He wasn't sure about the other contestants, but he was pretty sure he got his promotion.
The chatter was stopped when Hiruzen, along with Tsunade and Jiraiya, entered, startling the Kumo genin.
"Hokage-sama." Mabui and Samui back straightred as they bowed slightly to the foreign Kage.
It is extrely rare for shinobi, especially genin, to et forign Kage in a peaceful setting. Usually if a Kage-level Shinobi appeared on the battle field without another one on the opposing side, it usually ant near total annihilation for the weaker side. That is why Kage and Kage level Shinobi are well known, feared and respected in all the other villages.
"At ease, no need for that." Hiruzen said with a kind smile putting the Kumo genin at slight ease.
"Are you both alright?" Hiruzen asked Naruto and Anko
"Yes, Hokage-sama." Both genin replied
"That is good. And congratulations on winning the Chunin exams, Naruto. Your performance was splendid. But we will have to leave Kumo soon, so get ready." Hiruzen said, confusing the genin
"Wait, why? Weren't we going to stay here for a couple more days?" Anko asked
"That was the original plan, but circumstances have changed, and we have to leave early. Just get ready to leave, and we will talk on the way." Jiraiya said, making the two genin nod
As Naruto was helping Anko get ready to leave, Mabui and Samui were whispering to each other a bit away from the Konoha group.
"So these are two of the legendary Konoha sannin?" Samui asked
"Yeah, I am sure they are Tsunade and Jiraiya of the Sannin as the third defected from Konoha." Mabui said
"Cool. But why is Tsunade-sama looking at like that?" Samui asked with an uncomfortable tone. Tsunade was giving her a heated glare.
"I don't know. Did you upset her with anything?" Mabui asked
"How would I know? It is my first ti eting her." Samui replied.
Unknown to both of them, Samui was on Tsunade's watch list for what happened after her match against her son.
