Kakashi didn't answer.

Even Jiraiya had lost to this enemy… in his heart, Kakashi honestly had no confidence in surviving.

Naruto: "Kakashi-sensei, you can do it! You have to beat that guy!"

I've never truly seen the full extent of Kakashi's power. Maybe this ti… I'll finally get to witness it.
