Raizen had no idea that his secondary crossing had caused Naruto Uzumaki—the one intended to support Konoha—to end up in the original tiline Raizen had just left.
Facing the surrounding Six Paths of Pain, he remained calm, steady as an old dog.
"The Rinnegan... I've wanted to challenge those eyes for a long ti," Raizen said indifferently to the Deva Path. "Wait a mont, I'll be right back."
With a single thought, Raizen scooped up Tsunade and vanished from the spot.
"Body Flicker?" "No! There were no afterimages; it was a space-ti transfer."
The Six Paths of Pain searched for his signature, eventually spotting him and Tsunade on the high ruins where Raizen had first appeared.
"Master, are you alright!?" Sakura Haruno asked frantically as Raizen brought Tsunade back.
"The Flying Thunder God..." Tsunade didn't answer Sakura; she simply stared at Raizen in a daze.
"Rest well, Sister Tsunade. Leave this to !!!" Raizen set Tsunade down and gave her a brilliant smile. "Sister, if I win, will you reward with a kiss?"
"If you can save Konoha, forget a kiss—I'd even marry you!" Tsunade replied, her face flushing slightly.
"Then it's a deal. Get ready to marry , Sister!!!" Raizen teased, pinching Tsunade's nose. He gave a wink to the stunned Sakura nearby and vanished again using the Flying Thunder God.
After he left, Sakura asked, "Master, were you serious? If that senior saves the village, you'll marry him!?"
"I'm fifty years old, and he looks like he's in his twenties," Tsunade replied. "Even if I wanted to marry him, he probably wouldn't actually want to. He was likely just teasing ."
"Master, do you think he can really defeat Pain?" Sakura looked at Raizen, who had reappeared before the Six Paths, with worry.
Tsunade said in a heavy voice, "He knows the Flying Thunder God, he wears the Uchiha crest, and he shows no fear before Pain. He is likely an Uchiha whose strength is on par with Pain's."
"Oh no, I forgot to give him the intel on Pain's abilities!" Tsunade realized. "Sakura, find a way to get Katsuyu to him. Have Katsuyu tell him everything."
"Right!" Sakura nodded. She and Tsunade had exhausted nearly all their chakra maintaining Katsuyu to protect the villagers; they barely had the strength to move.
"Sakura, what are you looking for?" Hinata Hyuga asked, approaching them.
Sakura held out a small Katsuyu slug. "I need soone who can still move to deliver this to that senior. He needs the intel on Pain."
Hinata looked around. Everyone was injured, lying on the ground groaning in pain. Almost everyone had lost the capacity to fight. Hinata took a deep breath, her gaze becoming resolute. "Leave it to ! I still have so chakra left. I'll take Katsuyu to him!!"
"Can you still move, Hinata?" Sakura asked worriedly.
"I can," Hinata said firmly.
"Don't do it, Lady Hinata!" an injured Hyuga ninja pleaded. "You aren't on that monster's level. It's too dangerous."
"My mind is made up. Hand it over, Sakura." Hinata's resolve didn't waver.
"Please, co back safely," Sakura said, placing the small slug in Hinata's hand.
Hinata nodded, then paused before jumping. She turned to Sakura and asked, "Sakura... why hasn't Naruto co back yet?"
Sakura shook her head. "I don't know. The ssage was sent. He probably just needs more ti to get here."
"I understand. I'm going." Hinata nodded and leaped down toward the crater where Raizen stood.
"Hinata..." Tsunade watched her go, slightly surprised. "The Hyuga heiress has remarkable courage. May she stay safe!!!"
The Confrontation
Raizen had just finished teasing Tsunade when he returned to the circle of the Six Paths.
"You actually ca back. I thought you had run away with your tail between your legs," the Deva Path said calmly.
Raizen looked at the Deva Path and smiled faintly. "The savior of this world seems to have run into so trouble and couldn't make it. So, I'll settle this for him, Nagato. I'll be taking those Rinnegan of yours."
In this world, Raizen had no baggage. He could run wild without restraint. His lips curled into a smirk as he slowly drew Sōnga from its sheath.
Imdiately, a wave of pure, concentrated evil saturated the air. Sensing the aura, the Deva Path frowned.
Raizen leveled Sōnga at the Deva Path—the strongest of the six—and said, "Let's begin, Nagato. Let feel the power of the Rinnegan personally."
Feeling the pressure emanating from Raizen, the Deva Path actually took several steps back. Seeing this, Raizen imdiately surmised that the Deva Path's power was still on cooldown. He had just used the massive Almighty Push to level the village, which had temporarily depleted his strength.
Just as the battle was about to erupt, a figure leaped down from the ruins and ran toward them. Raizen and the Six Paths of Pain all turned to look, the Paths refraining from attacking out of curiosity.
"Hinata?" As she drew closer, Raizen recognized the newcor, looking genuinely surprised.
"Senior, I've co to fight by your side!!!" Hinata panted, coming to a halt next to Raizen. She subtly placed the Katsuyu slug onto his back.
The small slug crawled up to his shoulder and whispered, "My Lord, I am Lady Tsunade's summon. You may call Katsuyu. I am here to provide you with intelligence on the Six Paths of Pain."
So she ca to deliver the slug, Raizen thought with an internal chuckle. You've worked hard, Big Hinata.
In the original story, Hinata leaped down to fight the Deva Path to save Naruto. Because of his arrival, her mission had changed to delivering intel. Raizen found it ironic—he already knew every single ability of the Six Paths of Pain like the back of his hand.
He looked at her. The "Small Hinata" in his world was already developing well, but this "Big Hinata" was truly... majestic. Of course, he didn't have ti to appreciate her proportions at the mont.
"Senior, please let fight with you!" Since she was already there, Hinata didn't feel right leaving Raizen to face Pain alone.
"My na is Raizen. You can call Brother Raizen, Hinata," Raizen said with a gentle smile.
Though she didn't understand why he called her "Big Hinata," she nodded.
"To think that after that last strike, soone still has the courage to stand against . Admirable," the Deva Path said, eyeing Hinata with a hint of respect.
"Pain, I will help Brother Raizen defeat you!" Hinata stared at the Deva Path with unwavering eyes.
"Oh? Is that so? Quite a big mouth for a little girl!" The Deva Path sneered and began to walk forward slowly.
Seeing the Deva Path's movent, Raizen knew: his power had finally returned.
