Shizune looked at Tsunade with deep suspicion, wondering exactly what her master had "decided." Seeing the mischievous smirk on Tsunade's face, Shizune felt a sudden surge of anxiety. What kind of trap is Lady Tsunade setting for now?
"Co on, Shizune. Let's go to the Uchiha estate and talk business with Raizen!" Tsunade said, beaming with a smile that reached her eyes.
"Lady Tsunade... I-I... can I stay behind?" Shizune took a step back, her survival instincts kicking in. Tsunade was definitely plotting sothing at her expense.
"No. You must co," Tsunade said, her voice dropping into a tone of absolute command.
Faced with such authority, Shizune had no choice but to follow obediently behind her master. They crossed the main streets and arrived at the Uchiha district before long. Standing at the entrance, Tsunade tapped on the shimring barrier.
Inside the estate, Raizen felt the vibration from Tenseiga and imdiately understood that soone was at the gate. Monts later, he appeared at the entrance. Seeing it was Tsunade and Shizune, he opened the barrier with an enthusiastic smile.
"Sister Tsunade! What brings you back so soon? Co in, co in!" Raizen welcod them warmly. For the past few days, Tsunade had visited daily without bringing up any real business, making him suspect she was just coming over to enjoy the free food and sake.
"Find a quiet place," Tsunade said. "I have sothing important to discuss with you."
Raizen led them to the bamboo pavilion in the center of the lake. After serving tea and sitting across from her, he smiled. "Whatever it is, Sister Tsunade, just say the word. If it's within my power, I won't refuse."
Tsunade took a deep breath and looked him in the eye, her expression turning solemn. "I want you to help resurrect soone. What is the price?"
Resurrection?
Shizune's breath caught in her throat, her face full of shock. Raizen, however, simply smiled. Finally, she couldn't hold back anymore. He had expected this ever since she saw Sakumo and the others.
"Sister Tsunade," Raizen said with a light chuckle. "Given the bond between us, does bringing back one person really require a 'price'?"
"What? No price?" Tsunade was stunned. She had co prepared for Raizen to demand the moon and the stars—she had even brought Shizune along as potential collateral. She never expected him to waive the fee entirely.
"Tell ," Raizen said, giving her a playful wink. "Who is it you want to see again?"
"弟弟 (Little Brother)... such a forbidden technique that defies heaven—will it not cost you dearly?" Tsunade asked, her voice tinged with genuine worry. If reviving soone required Raizen to pay a heavy price with his own life or health, she would be consud by guilt.
"There is a cost, but it's not as heavy as you might think. Don't worry, Sister," Raizen said with an air of deep affection. "To help you, paying a little price is no problem at all."
In reality, using Sōnga to revive soone rely consud a portion of his chakra. For soone like him who now possessed over a hundred "Kakashi-units" of chakra, it was a drop in the bucket.
"Raizen... you truly move ," Tsunade whispered, her eyes turning red with emotion.
"But you must ask for sothing," she insisted. "Otherwise, I won't feel right about it."
Raizen shook his head, looking sincere. "Sister, our relationship is better than that of blood siblings. If I charged you for a small favor, I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror. Just say the na, and I'll make it happen."
Tsunade was moved to tears. "Good brother, I won't let you lose out... Shizune, co here." She beckoned to her assistant.
"Yes, Lady Tsunade?" Shizune stepped forward, looking confused.
"You said you liked Raizen, didn't you? Now, I'm making it happen for you," Tsunade said firmly.
"Lady Tsunade! What are you saying!?" Having her private feelings blurted out in front of Raizen made Shizune's face explode into a deep crimson.
"Raizen-kun, look at my Shizune," Tsunade pitched, ignoring Shizune's protests. "Long legs, gentle and quiet personality, Scorpio, birthday November 18th. She's single, a 'Great' size, a near-Kage level master, and incredibly capable. With her wide hips, she's guaranteed to be a good mother."
"Why don't you marry her? What do you think?"
Tsunade practically pushed Shizune into Raizen's arms. The sudden move caught Raizen off guard. He looked at the flustered Shizune pressed against him, not quite sure whether to hold her or let go. After a mont of awkwardness, he spoke up.
"Sister Tsunade, while I do find Shizune-san very charming, a marriage requires Shizune-san's consent."
Having already taken many wives, adding Shizune wasn't a problem for him, so he followed Tsunade's lead without much hesitation. Hearing Raizen say he liked her, Shizune's blush deepened until it reached her ears.
"She likes you, you like her—it's perfect!" Tsunade waved her hand dismissively. "We'll pick an auspicious day and hold the ceremony imdiately."
"Sister, shouldn't we ask for her opinion first?" Raizen prompted.
"Shizune, are you willing?" Tsunade asked the girl still hiding her face in Raizen's chest.
Shizune, voice muffled by his shirt and thick with embarrassnt, whispered, "Shizune will... follow Lady Tsunade's wishes."
"Haha! Excellent! It's settled then," Tsunade laughed boisterously.
Since Tsunade had effectively gifted him a wife, Raizen was ready to return the favor. "Sister Tsunade, tell who you want to resurrect. I am ready."
Tsunade stopped laughing, her eyes filled with a longing she had suppressed for decades. "I truly wish to see him again. Raizen... please, resurrect my brother, Nawaki."
"Nawaki, is it?" Raizen nodded. "I understand. Let's go right now."
"Don't we need to prepare anything?" Tsunade asked.
"No need."
"Then where are we going?"
"The Konoha Cetery."
Raizen kept one arm around Shizune and extended the other toward Tsunade. "Co here, Sister. I'll take you there directly; it's faster."
"A hug?" Tsunade asked suspiciously.
"I can carry you on my back if you prefer," Raizen joked.
"A hug is fine," Tsunade muttered, stepping closer. "But how exactly are you taking us?"
Raizen slipped his arm around her slender waist. As expected, such a tiny waist with no extra fat at all, he thought. She maintains her figure incredibly well. If I could just see under... well, that would be bliss.
Being held by the waist made Tsunade's face flush. The close proximity of Raizen's masculine scent made her breath hitch. Raizen didn't try to take advantage of the mont further, but when he tried to form hand seals, he realized his hands were occupied with two waists.
"Ah, Sister, Shizune-san... you'd better hold onto instead. I can't weave signs like this."
He let go, and Tsunade, her face red, wrapped her arms around him. Shizune shyly did the sa from the other side. With both won holding him tight, Raizen focused.
Under their shy yet curious gazes, the three of them vanished from the pavilion in an instant.
