Just as Uchiha Obito's hand was about to grab Yahiko's throat—just as Yahiko was preparing to face death—a large hand suddenly seized Obito's wrist.

Yahiko hurriedly received her with both hands, holding her as if she were the most precious treasure in the world, terrified of even the slightest harm coming to her.
Only then did Ren turn to look at Obito.
His expression was complicated.

Perhaps he would have made the sa choice as Yahiko.
Because of this realization, Ren decided to change his original plan.
He chose to reveal himself before Obito.
He wanted to give Obito more chances to reclaim himself.
Ren looked at Obito and spoke calmly.
"It's true what they say—after three days apart, one should look at soone with new eyes."
"I never expected that the forr dead-last of the Academy would grow this strong."
Obito's heart skipped a beat.
He swallowed hard.
"You are… Uchiha Ren, aren't you?" he said cautiously.
"The most dazzling figure of the current Uchiha Clan."
"I've heard of your na."
"But we've never t before, have we?"
"I am Madara Uchiha."
Obito tried to sound confident, but his tone lacked conviction.
It carried the unmistakable air of soone bluffing.
Ren chuckled softly.
"When soone wears a mask for too long… eventually it grows into their face."
"And when that happens…"
"Taking it off will tear flesh and bone."
"It's not too late to turn back."
"You're still you."
"A hero of Konoha."
Obito's gaze flickered.
He avoided Ren's eyes.
"You're speaking nonsense, brat," he said uneasily.
"I am Madara Uchiha—a traitor to Konoha."
"I'm no hero of the Leaf."
"Madara Uchiha?" Ren smiled faintly.
"Stop pretending."
"You can't fool ."
"You're clearly Uchiha—"
"I'm not O—"
"Kenji."
"???"
Obito froze.
His mind went blank.
Ren grinned.
"You're Uchiha Kenji, right?"
Obito: "..."
