Watching the Fifth Hokage crush Kakuzu with overwhelming ease, Kakashi and Might Guy were both stunned. Awe filled their eyes.
What else was there to say?
It wasn't that Kakuzu and Hidan were weak—it was that the Fifth Hokage, Uchiha Ren, was simply too strong.
"Mmm—mmph…"
Perhaps frightened by Kakuzu's miserable end, Hidan—who had been making muffled noises—suddenly went quiet.
Compared to Kakuzu, he was actually doing better. At least he wasn't dead yet—just reduced to a head dangling in soone's hand.

Honestly, he hadn't planned to make a move against Akatsuki yet. But since Akatsuki's mbers had insisted on coming to Konoha to throw their lives away, he could only oblige.
Instantly killing Hidan and Kakuzu was nothing unusual.

The battle situation had already beco completely one-sided.
Jūzō Biwa was barely managing to keep Hyūga Hiashi occupied.
But Uchiha Itachi—fighting two-on-one—was actually suppressing both Uchiha Fugaku and Nara Shikaku.
Uchiha Fugaku and Nara Shikaku were being suppressed by Itachi.
After more than two years of growth, Itachi's mastery of the Sharingan had reached a terrifying level. Even Fugaku could only feel inferior in comparison.
More importantly—
The backlash from Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan seed to have diminished significantly.
Boom!
Another violent collision of ninjutsu echoed out.
Fugaku and Shikaku were forced back dozens of steps. When they exchanged glances, disbelief was clear in both their eyes.
There was no helping it.
Itachi was simply too strong.
"Damn it…"
"This doesn't make sense… how did he beco this monstrous?"
Grinding their teeth, Fugaku and Shikaku still prepared to counterattack.
But Itachi was faster.
"Tsukuyomi."
In an instant, Itachi flashed forward and appeared directly in front of Nara Shikaku. His Mangekyō Sharingan erupted with terrifying ocular power.
"Not good—!"
Shikaku's expression changed sharply. He tried to mobilize his chakra—but it was already too late.
Bang!
One second later—
After enduring Tsukuyomi's tornt, Shikaku's face twisted in agony, and his body collapsed heavily to the ground.
"Shikaku!!"
Seeing Shikaku taken out instantly by a single genjutsu, Fugaku's already pale face turned even whiter.
He wanted to activate his own Mangekyō Sharingan—but his remaining ocular power wasn't enough.
If he forced it, he would go blind on the spot.
"My foolish father…"
At that mont, Itachi's emotions seed to spiral. The darkness in his heart swelled unnaturally as he roared,
"Why?! I'm your son! Why didn't you stand on my side?!"
"That's impossible. You're not Uchiha Itachi."
Hearing this, Fugaku sensed sothing deeply wrong. His voice sank.
"Who are you? What exactly is attached to Itachi's body?!"
"Hahaha—I am Uchiha Itachi!"
Itachi burst into hysterical laughter, the lines on his face twisting grotesquely.
"No… absolutely not."
Fugaku took a deep breath, murmuring, "I know Itachi's limits. He could never use the Mangekyō so recklessly."
"Heh… foolish father…"
Itachi sneered coldly, madness flooding his expression.
"Then let show you… my true power!"
Rumble!!
Before the words even finished—
A terrifying surge of Mangekyō ocular power exploded outward.
A massive crimson skeletal fra enveloped Itachi's body. From that skeleton, muscles and armor rapidly ford, clad in Tengu-style plating.
In the end—
A fully-ford Susanoo manifested, holding the Totsuka Blade in its right hand and the Yata Mirror in its left.
And this was only the beginning.
Inside the Susanoo, Itachi ford hand seals. As overwhelming chakra intertwined with natural energy, crimson markings spread across his face—
He had entered Sage Mode–like state.
If anyone could see inside the Susanoo, they would notice sothing even more shocking—
On Itachi's right arm was a grotesque face identical to Hashirama Senju's.
Boom!!
Without any warning—
A horrifying surge of senjutsu chakra burst forth from the Complete Susanoo.
"How is this possible?!"
"So strong… how can he be this strong?!"
"Th-This is… a senjutsu-empowered Susanoo?!"
Facing the godlike figure of the Sage Mode Complete Susanoo, countless Konoha shinobi froze in shock.
Hyūga Hiashi and Jūzō Biwa—still locked in battle—went blank.
Uchiha Fugaku stood stunned.
Even on Konoha's northern front, Kisa, Deidara, Sasori, Jiraiya, and Tsunade all froze mid-fight.
There was no helping it.
A Sage Mode Complete Susanoo was simply too terrifying.
Whether it was the oppressive aura or the monstrous senjutsu chakra rolling off it—
It felt powerful enough to destroy heaven and earth themselves.
