Bright eyes. A radiant grin. Like candy.
Hagoromo smiled back, genuinely, and walked over.
Did Hagoromo like Kushina?
Of course he did.
But what kind of "like" was it? Even he couldn't quite say.
Did Kushina like Hagoromo?
Of course she did too.
But definitely not the sa way she liked Minato Namikaze.
Hagoromo was still just a kid, after all.

When writing fanfiction, I believe the key lies in semi-original creation.
I consider myself a longti Naruto fan—but ultimately, still just a reader. What I write is my own interpretation. Sotis I get things wrong. Sotis I deliberately alter things for the sake of the story. I hope readers can understand that.
