Early morning. The sky was still dim, a faint gray light spreading slowly across the horizon.

Zoro dressed himself in silence, his movents steady and unhurried. One by one, he fastened the three swords at his waist, adjusting their positions out of long-ingrained habit, ensuring each hilt rested exactly where his hands would expect it. Only after everything was in place did he step out of his room.

In the courtyard outside, a maid of the Uchiha clan was already waiting, carrying the breakfast that had been carefully prepared.

Passing through the wooden door, she moved with quiet, practiced grace and placed the al neatly on the table before Zoro.

"Thank you, Sister Haruko."

Zoro spoke with a faint smile, his tone calm and polite. The maid returned a small, gentle smile, then lowered her head in a respectful bow before turning and leaving without another word.

Sitting down, Zoro began eating breakfast in an orderly, unhurried manner, each motion precise, as if even this simple act followed a certain rhythm.

Today's Chūnin Exam had thrown the entire Uchiha clan into a state of excitent.

They had placed boundless expectations on Zoro.

They were waiting for his entrance.

Waiting for his victory.

Because this was not rely about one person's performance—it concerned the pride of the clan and the future developnt of the village itself.

In the courtyard, the three leading figures of the Uchiha clan stood together, accompanied by more than a dozen elite mbers. They remained silent, yet their presence carried weight, as they quietly waited for Zoro to finish his al.

So of the younger Uchiha children had also been brought along by their elders, their small faces filled with confusion. Following the direction of the adults' gazes, they peered toward Zoro inside, watching him eat with puzzled expressions.

They did not understand why they had to stand here just to watch soone have breakfast.

All they knew was that they had heard phrases like "learn from Zoro-niisan" more than once.

Gradually, this scene shaped Zoro into sothing distant in their eyes.

That upright figure, calm and composed, felt impossibly far away.

That broad, steady back seed like a standard set before them—sothing they would have to grow toward, sothing they would spend years chasing in the future.

As everyone waited, ti passed little by little, the quiet stretching longer with each passing second.

At last, Zoro gently set the final cup down on the table. The soft sound of porcelain eting wood broke the stillness.

He rose to his feet and walked out into the courtyard.

"What is everyone doing here?"

Facing the gazes of the Uchiha clan's strongest fighters, Zoro showed no trace of unease. His expression remained calm, as if such attention ant nothing to him.

"Zoro-niisan… do your best."

Shizuka, only two years old and still shy around strangers, was the first to peek out from behind Uchiha Setsuna. Gathering all her courage, she spoke in a small but determined voice.

A faint blush lingered on her soft, childlike cheeks, revealing just how much effort it had taken for her to say those words.

Hearing his granddaughter break the silence, the corners of Setsuna's mouth lifted slightly, a trace of warmth appearing in his aged eyes.

"Zoro-niisan, do your best!"

"Zoro-niisan, victory is certain!!"

The voices of the younger Uchiha children gradually rose, overlapping as they called out to him, their clear, earnest cheers echoing in Zoro's ears.

In that instant, sothing within Zoro seed to settle.

He began to understand, more clearly than before, the aning of the word "clan."

The Uchiha were never good at expressing their feelings. It was one of the reasons they had ended up in such an awkward position as the village's Police Force, always maintaining order yet rarely understood.

But in these unguarded voices of children, there was no restraint—only pure hope and expectation.

Zoro could feel it.

He slowly swept his gaze across the surrounding faces, each one filled with anticipation and approval, their silence speaking just as loudly as the children's cheers.

Then, a faint smile appeared on his lips.

"This battle…" he said, his voice steady and unwavering, "…I will win."

"Victory!"

"Victory!"

"Victory!!"

The children were instantly swept up by the confidence radiating from him, their voices growing louder, more excited, until the entire courtyard seed to echo with their cheers.

Even Uchiha Shisui, who had long been close to the Hokage and was known for his composure, felt his blood stir at the sight.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Zoro turned and began to walk away. His figure gradually receded, step by step, until it disappeared from their line of sight.

"We should set off as well."

Retracting his gaze, Uchiha Fugaku spoke calmly to the two elders beside him, his tone carrying quiet authority.

"Yes. It seems we are about to witness the Uchiha clan sweeping through all sides once again. I can almost see the shadow of that man from the past."

Great Elder Uchiha Setsuna stroked his beard, his face filled with satisfaction and a trace of nostalgia.

The person he referred to was naturally that Asura-like figure who had once made the entire shinobi world tremble.

Standing beside him, Uchiha Muneyoshi did not offer his usual rebuttal.

When facing enemies from other villages, he would not show the slightest rcy either.

"Hahaha!"

The three leading figures of the Uchiha clan exchanged glances before bursting into laughter, their voices resonating with confidence.

They all understood.

From this mont onward, the Uchiha clan would rise once more.

Just like that Asura of the past—one person would stand above all, suppressing the other ninja villages until they could do nothing but grind their teeth in silent fury.

The Chūnin Exam was nothing like the Ninja Academy's graduation test, where a single match could determine everything in an instant.

This was a large-scale assessnt jointly organized by multiple great nations. Because of that, its structure was far more intricate, and every stage carried its own hidden dangers and intentions.

The first stage was the written exam.

There were nine questions in total, each one extrely difficult—far beyond what ordinary genin could solve through straightforward knowledge alone. More importantly, crude or obvious cheating thods were strictly forbidden.

This exam did not simply test knowledge. It tested how one gathered intelligence.

To pass, one had to cheat—yet do so without being detected by the proctors or any observers.

Within the examination room, two chūnin who already knew the correct answers would deliberately write them down, acting as bait for those perceptive enough to notice.

However, there was a limit.

If one was caught cheating five tis, they would be eliminated imdiately.

In essence, this stage assessed a genin's observational skills, composure, and ability to operate under pressure. Those who truly knew the answers had no need to rely on copying. But for those who did not, survival depended entirely on how skillfully they could gather information without exposing themselves.

In addition to the nine questions, there was one final problem—one that did not test intelligence, but teamwork.

It was a question designed to evaluate the cohesion of a three-man squad. Those who chose to give up would fail, while those who persisted together would pass.

Simply put, those who knew the answers could pass with ease.

Those who did not could still succeed—provided they had the skill to cheat without being caught.

The second stage was the Forest of Death.

Among all the stages, this was undoubtedly the most brutal.

The na itself was no exaggeration. Within that forest, death was not an accident—it was an expectation.

Teams of three would be randomly assigned either a Heaven Scroll or an Earth Scroll at the start.

To pass, a team had to obtain both types of scrolls—a matching pair of Heaven and Earth—and reach the designated location within the ti limit.

This ant that cooperation alone was not enough.

If one wished to advance, one had to hunt.

They had to track down other teams, engage them in battle, and seize the scrolls in their possession.

Only by doing so could they secure the requirents to pass.

And even then, strength alone was not everything.

Luck played an equally critical role.

If fate was unkind, and every team encountered happened to possess the sa type of scroll, then no matter how strong one was, passing would beco nearly impossible.

The third stage was the Chūnin Exam preliminaries.

Those who survived the second stage would be arranged into one-on-one matches. Victory was the only way forward—losers would be eliminated without exception.

The final stage was the official Chūnin Exam tournant.

It followed an elimination format as well, but advancent was not determined purely by winning or losing.

Instead, the examiners—typically high-ranking shinobi and the Kage themselves—would observe each battle closely, evaluating not just strength, but judgnt, adaptability, leadership, and whether the candidate possessed the qualities required of a chūnin.

There were four stages in total.

Among them, the second stage carried the highest mortality rate. The remaining stages were conducted under strict supervision and public observation, so the chances of dying were significantly lower.

Although the exam was said to be jointly hosted, the venue for this Chūnin Exam had ultimately been set in Konohagakure.

Naturally, this decision was not without reason.

Among the Five Great Nations, Konoha occupied the most favorable geographical position, making it the ideal location for such a large-scale gathering.

Before long, escorted by mbers of his clan, Zoro arrived at the testing site for the first stage.

The venue was none other than the Ninja Academy—the sa place where he had once studied.

Now, it was completely packed.

The usually quiet grounds were filled with voices and movent, as genin from various villages gathered in anticipation. Because of the Chūnin Exam, classes at the Academy had been temporarily suspended, turning the entire place into a stage for the upcoming trials.

Outside the periter, students who had yet to graduate crowded together, their eyes filled with envy and excitent as they watched the participating ninja enter the examination grounds.

To them, this was not just an exam.

It was a glimpse into the world they hoped to step into.

Among the crowd, Zoro's forr Academy teacher also noticed the arrival of the Uchiha clan.

His gaze lingered on Zoro, who stood among his clansn like a newly risen star, radiating a presence that could not be ignored.

A deep sigh escaped him.

He had never imagined that the student he once dismissed would rise so quickly.

In just a few short months, Zoro had transford into soone he could only look up to from afar.

So had even begun to whisper in private—

That Zoro possessed the bearing of an "Asura of the Shinobi World."

"So that's Konoha's top prodigy ntioned in the intelligence reports? He really does look quite handso."

Not far away, a young kunoichi from Kirigakure spoke with a playful tone.

i Terumī glanced toward Zoro, her gaze lingering as she lightly ran the tip of her tongue across her lips, a hint of curiosity and amusent flashing through her eyes.

Though only nine years old, she had already awakened powerful kekkei genkai abilities and was being cultivated as a key talent by Kirigakure.

Standing beside her were two other figures who drew attention in their own right—

Zabuza Momochi, ten years old, already carrying an oppressive aura that set him apart from ordinary children,

and Kisa Hoshigaki, also nine, whose shark-like features and calm, watchful eyes hinted at the ferocity he would one day unleash.

And they were not the only ones.

The representatives sent by the other ninja villages were all extraordinary individuals—geniuses, prodigies, and future pillars of their respective nations.

Each of them carried the potential to shape the future of the shinobi world.
