DeHart stepped on the air, his figure suddenly soaring higher,

like a towering mountain. He stood firm dozens of ters in the air, gazing down upon Chu He below.

"Hmph. Just because you’re tainted with a sliver of special energy, you really think you’re one of the Deities?"

Chu He shook his head.

His gaze then fell on Galava, who was standing there, overco with joy. "I know you must be ecstatic seeing DeHart reborn from the ashes," he said. "But now, I’ll show you exactly why I allowed him to complete his transformation!"

True Qi surged from Chu He’s body like a violent torrent.

At the sa ti, the boundless sea of golden fire contracted, enveloping his body.

Chu He grabbed at the empty air before him, and a golden Xuanyuan Sword materialized in his palm.

Gripping the Xuanyuan Sword, he swung it at DeHart in the sky without a mont’s hesitation.

The entire sequence was fluid, without a single wasted motion.

’He’s still being so arrogant!’

’Can he do it? How is the Divine Child of the White Elephant Empire so powerful? This defies all logic!’

’Are there really Deities in this world? But if there are, why are the Evil Spirits in other Empires left unchecked? Even the Lighthouse Empire has been taken over by terrifying, Vampire-like Evil Spirits.’

’I have to check out the White Elephant Empire if I get the chance.’

’You’ve got so nerve. I’m not setting foot in that Empire until I figure out what it’s really all about. That place is just too weird.’

’I’m afraid Blue Star’s number one expert is about to fall...’

After Chu He displayed such power,

the Martial Artists present began to favor DeHart, doubting that Chu He could defeat him in his current state.

This battle between Chu He and DeHart was destined to end with one of them dead.

On one side was the supre glory of Blue Star’s number one expert.

On the other, the noble dignity of the White Elephant Empire’s Divine Child.

In a situation like this, neither could possibly back down.

"Your mind should hold information about this power, shouldn’t it?

You inherited the power of the Evil Spirit from the diary, so you know what I’m talking about.

You should also be able to feel it—that indescribable power mixed into DeHart’s Elental Power."

Even as he swung his sword, Chu He continued speaking to Galava, who was sitting on the ground.

Galava swallowed hard, montarily unsure how to respond.

But Chu He hadn’t actually expected an answer; he was just testing the waters, trying to bluff Galava.

To his surprise, the bluff worked.

Galava clearly knew what this special energy was.

This sent a thrill of anticipation through Chu He.

Still, he wouldn’t trust Galava completely.

Therefore, Chu He first needed to pry the information from the White Elephant Empire’s Divine Child, DeHart.

And to do that, he had to be ruthless!

As he swung the sword, Chu He channeled the True Sun Fire within him.

It ford into a brilliant golden Fire Dragon that coiled and danced through the air.

Fire, lightning, and tyrannical Sword Qi mingled and intertwined, coalescing into a solid, golden-purple beam of light.

Simultaneously, Chu He grabbed the God-Beating Whip with his other hand and cracked it with a vicious snap.

DeHart extended both hands, palms facing each other. He slowly brought them together, compressing the space between them.

Crimson flas billowed out from the space before him.

Empowered by the special energy, the crimson flas were actually able to briefly resist Chu He’s True Sun Fire.

It even brought the golden-purple beam of light to a montary halt.

"You are indeed strong," DeHart said smugly. "But alas, you are no longer my match. The Transford Garuda is the power closest to the Deities!"

’It’s not that the True Sun Fire is weak,’ Chu He thought. ’It’s that my Golden Core cultivation is still insufficient.’

Chu He ignored him. To truly unleash the True Sun Fire’s power, he knew he would need to reach a higher level of cultivation.

PFFT!

Propelled by his True Qi, the golden-purple beam vanished in an instant.

The next ti it appeared, it had already pierced through DeHart’s chest.

Blood gushed from the bowl-sized hole, and the surging crimson flas around him instantly dissipated.

DeHart’s body trembled as he slowly lowered his head,

his gaze fixed on the hole in his chest—so large he could see straight through it. His face was a mask of utter disbelief.

’But... wasn’t that golden-purple beam already under my control?

Why did it vanish in the blink of an eye?

And how did it reappear an instant later to inflict such a fatal, piercing wound?’

SWOOSH!

Before DeHart could react, a vicious whip lashed out, piercing straight through his body.

Yet, it felt as if the whip had struck his very brain, causing it to explode into a pulpy ss.

DeHart’s mind went blank with a BUZZ, and his thoughts dissolved into a muddled haze.

He fell backward, his mind remaining blank for tens of minutes.

For those long minutes, the area was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.

At least half of the Martial Artists present lost their composure, including even experts at the Emperor Realm.

DeHart had displayed such overwhelming power, yet Chu He had still annihilated him in an instant?!

Chu He paid no mind to the crowd’s reaction.

With a slight movent of his leg, he was standing before DeHart in the next instant.

Then he raised his foot and stomped down hard.

Accompanied by the sickeningly crisp sound of shattering bone,

half of DeHart’s face was grotesquely twisted and deford.

Chu He spoke. "Tell , what is that special new power you have? If you don’t, I will obliterate you, the great Divine Child, right here and now.

It would be a sha for you to die here just like that, wouldn’t you agree?"

The searing pain from the devastating blow to his head shocked DeHart’s blank mind back into operation.

His hazy vision gradually focused on Chu He’s face, which was as placid as a blue sky dotted with white clouds.

The words he spoke, however, were more terrifying than a whisper rising from the Nine Netherworld Hell.

"It’s... it’s Divinity. Power from the Supre Divinity."

DeHart moved a hand caked in blood and dirt, trying to grab Chu He’s pant leg and beg for his life.

’See? Even a Divine Child fears death,’ Chu He thought. ’So much for the power of the Deities.’

As he asked the question, Chu He had used both his True Qi and Primordial Spirit Power to form a dual barrier, blocking the sound of DeHart’s answer.

As a result, no one else heard a thing.

The sole of Chu He’s shoe, still planted on DeHart’s head, pressed down hard. The imnse force instantly caused DeHart’s entire head to explode.

Without a doubt, DeHart was as dead as could be. The survival he had hoped for never ca.

"The Divine Child of the White Elephant Empire... Chu He killed him..."

A Martial Artist cried out involuntarily.

But he quickly clapped a hand over his mouth, terrified of attracting Chu He’s attention and being silenced permanently.

Among the thousands, even tens of thousands, of Martial Artists present,

in the face of the absolute power Chu He had just displayed,

not a single one doubted that he could easily slaughter every last person there.
