The White-Red Empire.
On the rooftop of the building, the splashing sound of chilling water grew increasingly deafening.
With a PLOP, the Kappa dove into the frigid water and vanished without a trace.
At that mont, Yoshitsune’s face rapidly turned crimson.
The handso, youthful face from before was gone, replaced by the hideous, ferocious visage of a malevolent demon.
His skin was blood-red, with sharp fangs and claws. He was powerfully built, wielding an iron staff, his head crowned with a ssy shock of red hair.
His face was bearded, his hands and feet were like a bear’s, and his body was covered in fur, making him look like a savage beast.
Vishnu appeared, riding the Golden-winged Bird, with four arms holding a Round Wheel, a Magic Conch Shell, a Rod, and a Bow.
"Protection of the Fallen God!"
Brooks chanted an incantation,
spreading his arms. In an instant, several black, ethereal shadows coalesced between his hands.
They shot out, landing in the frigid river water, upon Yoshitsune, and upon Vishnu.
An ethereal shadow then appeared over both Yoshitsune and Vishnu, enveloping them. Their auras instantly grew stronger.
"Magic?"
Chu He tilted his head, watching Brooks with great interest.
’I’ve only ever read about Magic in books before. I never thought I’d get the chance to witness it firsthand.’
"Interesting. Then let’s start with you, the sneaky one!"
Chu He raised an eyebrow and spoke coldly.
Beneath the icy river, the Kappa had already grabbed Chu He’s leg.
But Chu He didn’t hesitate for a second, directly yanking the Kappa out of the water.
The Kappa was aghast, clearly not expecting that within its own domain,

The indentation on top of its head looked as if it were balancing a dish.
In the White-Red Empire, there was a common saying to describe a great disaster: "the kappa’s doom."
Moreover, the Kappa’s body was still enveloped in the Protection of the Fallen God from Brooks.
The ethereal shadow had already begun to assault Chu He, attempting to stop him from acting against the Kappa.
