Lin Moyu’s words were calm, yet dripping with murderous intent.

The guest section fell silent. Dozens of eyes turned toward him, instantly understanding why he said that.

Everyone knew about his relationship with Ning Tairan’s granddaughter.

Ye Hao’s earlier remark wasn’t just an insult to Lin Moyu. It was a slap in the face to both ng Anwen and Bai Yiyuan.

Lin Moyu’s counterattack was razor-sharp, each word laced with killing intent.

Ye Hao narrowed his eyes, “Godly General Lin, what do you an by that?”

Lin Moyu’s reply was faint, but sharp as a blade, “Exactly what I said. Let put it plainly—who is your great-grandson? Tell him to step forward. I’ll kill him.”

This ti, there was no room for misinterpretation.

“Overbearing, aren’t you?” Ye Hao sneered, “You’re playing a dangerous ga.”

Behind him, Wang Lin and the other two glared with open hostility.

Lin Moyu, however, showed no fear. With Bai Yiyuan and ng Anwen behind him, he had nothing to worry about.

Even if he stood alone, as long as he was willing to pay the price, he had no reason to fear them.

Lin Moyu sneered back, then turned to ng Anwen, “Teacher, could you investigate who his great-grandson is?”

ng Anwen chuckled, “Of course. No matter how well he hides, I’ll drag him out.”

Ye Hao’s expression shifted. He hadn’t expected Lin Moyu to take it so seriously.

His original intent had been simple: to provoke Bai Yiyuan and ng Anwen while putting Lin Moyu in his place.

In his eyes, no matter how capable Lin Moyu was, he was still just a junior.

Though this junior now held considerable fa and had reached the rank of three-star godly general, Ye Hao remained skeptical of his actual combat prowess and didn’t take him seriously.

But Lin Moyu’s reaction left him feeling cornered, like riding a tiger he couldn’t dismount.

A cold gleam flashed in Ye Hao’s eyes.

He did have a great-grandson, though few knew of him.

The great-grandson was talented, but far inferior to Lin Moyu.

If Lin Moyu bore a grudge, it would be troubleso.

For an instant, murder crossed Ye Hao’s mind.

Lin Moyu sensed it and scoffed inwardly.

Many wanted him dead—Demon Kings, Dragon Kings, even the Demon Emperor and the Dragon Emperor—yet he still lived.

The atmosphere tightened.

Ye Hao hadn’t realized he’d touched one of Lin Moyu’s bottom lines.

Buzz!

A violent fluctuation swept through the air as the dungeon erged from the hidden space.

The Divine Stone Dungeon had fully ford, ready to be entered.

Its sudden appearance shattered the tense standoff.

Ye Hao forced a smile, “Just a joke, Godly General Lin. Don’t take offense.”

Lin Moyu only looked at him in silence.

With the shaless composure of an old man, Ye Hao pretended nothing had transpired, “The Divine Stone Dungeon has opened. Let’s enjoy the young talents’ performance.”

ng Anwen murmured to Lin Moyu, “Let it go.”

“I know.” Lin Moyu replied.

He understood he couldn’t clash with Ye Hao here.

Both sides represented their factions, and any conflict would harm the Shenxia Empire.

ng Anwen was preparing to deploy formations across the country, so in Ye Hao’s territory.

Escalation would only complicate things.

Lin Moyu’s sharp reaction was primarily to send Ye Hao a clear ssage—he was not soone to be taken lightly.

With his point made, Lin Moyu didn’t press further.

The standoff ended with Ye Hao backing down, leaving Lin Moyu’s side looking stronger.

Though Ye Hao gave himself an excuse to retreat, his expression was far from pleasant.

The tension eased at last, and the Divine Stone Dungeon event officially began.

Above the dungeon, the formations projected a hundred screens.

Each round, 100 participants would be teleported inside, their every challenge and choice displayed in real ti on the screens.

Scores would be updated continuously, with higher scores aning stronger performance.

At this ti, the first batch of class users was teleported inside.

The God-level expert from the military, who had summoned the dungeon, stepped forward to explain the rules.

“Each level cleared grants 10 points.”

“Passing the ninth level rewards half a Divine Talent Stone.”

“As for the tenth level—no one has ever cleared it. I hope this year changes that.”

Of course, the great families already knew the rules of the Divine Stone Dungeon.

Even without the explanation, they had co prepared.

On the screens, Lin Moyu watched the first level unfold.

The participants were of varying classes and levels, yet they faced largely the sa first challenge.

A mountain, twenty to thirty ters tall, lood before them like a storm cloud.

From it, swarms of black dots burst forth, streaking toward them.

The speed of the black dots adjusted to each participant’s class and level—slower for mages, faster for others.

Lin Moyu instantly understood: “A test of reflexes.”

Despite their numbers, the black dots always left room to maneuver. Anyone competent could pass.

The participants didn’t flinch. They dashed forward, weaving nimbly through the barrage.

Clearly, they already knew what awaited them.

Lin Moyu quickly lost interest. The trial was too simple.

As expected, within a minute, all participants had cleared the level.

Their scores jumped from zero to ten.

Shortly after, the second trial began.

This ti, strength was tested.

Each participant faced a massive boulder—the higher their level, the harder the boulder. Smash it by any ans, and the trial was cleared.

For these chosen elites, it was hardly a challenge. None of them were weak.

Under the gaze of thousands, failure here would not only disgrace themselves but bring sha upon their families.

“The first trial tested reflexes. The second, strength. So what would the third be?”

As Lin Moyu speculated, the others cleared the second trial almost at the sa ti.

It posed no real challenge, and their scores rose to twenty.

Then, the third trial began.

A massive white tiger materialized, wind howling fiercely around it, indicating its elent: wind.

Each challenger faced a tiger of equal level, making the trial fair.

The battle comnced instantly.

The wind-type white tiger combined blistering speed with brute strength, forcing everyone into a tough fight.

Lin Moyu frowned, “The first trial essentially asured speed. The second, strength. The third… direct combat.”

“The white tiger embodies both speed and strength, rging the earlier trials.”

“The first two were passive tests. This one is active.

ng Anwen murmured, “From this trial onward, eliminations will begin.”

Lin Moyu found it puzzling, “This tiger is powerful, but it’s still just a regular elite monster, far weaker than ordinary monsters in hell rank dungeons.”

He didn’t understand how sothing like this could defeat anyone.

“That’s perfectly normal.” Ca Bai Yiyuan’s calm voice. He and Zhu Qingliu stepped up beside Lin Moyu.

“Not every class has combat ability like yours.” Bai Yiyuan explained.

“Most people, before they fully understand their skills, are weaker than mobs in hell rank dungeons.”

“That’s why humans form parties—because as a race, we’re not naturally strong. Yet from this weak race, we’re always trying to select the strongest individuals. Isn’t that paradoxical?”

Lin Moyu considered his words, “Selecting the strong from a weak race…”

On the surface, it sounded paradoxical. But it echoed Antares’s view: one God-level powerhouse outweighed a hundred level-89 powerhouses.

Every race needed truly top-tier experts.

And the Divine Stone Dungeon was designed to find them.
