Now reading: Chapter 676: A Miracle! from Necromancer: I Am A Disaster, a Fantasy novel by Pig On A Journey.

Feng Yiming stared toward the Thunderclap Tower. It stood in deathly silence, yet as the legion commander of Shenxia City, he held limited authority over the city.

He could sense that the Thunderclap Tower’s interior was anything but calm. A terrifying force was building within.

Feng Yiming wondered. “What exactly is Godly General Lin doing?”

With Demon and Dragonkind armies bearing down on the city and God-level beings among them, Feng Yiming had ordered all troops to remain behind the walls.

Anyone below God-level who ventured outside would be throwing their life away against Demon Kings and Dragon Kings.

Inside the city, at critical formation nodes, soldiers worked in desperation.

Vast quantities of energy crystals were fed into the city’s formation, converted into a continuous stream of power that reinforced the city’s defenses.

The formation was formidable and still holding.

But energy was finite, and the Demon Kings and Dragon Kings had yet to act.

Feng Yiming silently prayed for two things: for reinforcents to arrive in ti and for Lin Moyu to succeed in his endeavour.

If Lin Moyu could seize control of the Thunderclap Tower and unleash the Godslaying Lightning, the enemies outside would be nothing but a joke.

Ti passed. Feng Yiming’s expression grew darker by the mont.

There was no sign of reinforcents. The activation of the Eternal Great Wall ant the entire Human World was under pressure.

The God-level powerhouses were likely tied down elsewhere. No help was coming.

Their only hope was Lin Moyu.

A soldier rushed over to report, “Legion Commander, our energy crystal reserves have dropped to 50%!”

Half their stockpile—gone in just 30 minutes.

Feng Yiming nodded grimly, calculating in silence, “Even if the Demon Kings and Dragon Kings don’t act, they can only remain in the lower layer for one hour.”

“Half an hour had already passed. If we can hold on until they’re forced out… we might still have a chance.”

It was a fragile hope, but reality…

A massive sphere of green fla plumted from the sky.

One of the Demon Kings had finally lost patience, calling down Abyssal Fire like a falling teor.

The Abyssal Fire smashed into the city’s shield, warping it violently as energy consumption spiked.

Feng Yiming’s face turned ashen.

Since the Demon King stepped in, the ti he could remain in the lower layer shortened drastically. In re minutes, he would unleash his most terrifying power.

The energy crystals burned away at an alarming rate—another 30% vanished in just a few minutes.

Monts later, a spatial passage appeared, and the Demon King was forcibly expelled back to the deep layer by the lower layer’s laws.

But before Feng Yiming could breathe in relief, an even more overwhelming attack descended.

A Dragon King had stepped in.

Feng Yiming’s expression turned even darker

There wasn’t just one or two God-level powerhouses among the enemy ranks.

They were rotating their attacks, thodically battering down the city’s defenses.

Once the shield fell, it would be a slaughter.

No one here could withstand them.

“Prepare for battle!” Feng Yiming roared.

Across the city, every class user drew their weapon at once.

They had long since ford teams and organized into a legion, battle intent blazing in their eyes. Not a single person retreated.

Shenxia people would fight to the death, but they would never submit.

The last energy crystals shattered into dust. With a deafening crash, the city’s shield collapsed.

The Demon and Dragonkind armies surged forward, drowning the area in bloodlust.

Feng Yiming raised his sword high, “Fight!”

“Fight!”

“Fight!”

“Fight!”

The unified roar of the human class users shook the air, killing intent boiling over.

Boom!

A bolt of lightning descended from the sky, exploding midair.

In the next instant, lightning spread across the sky like a vast spiderweb.

Purple light flooded the sky, illuminating the earth below.

The purple lightning was hauntingly beautiful and utterly terrifying.

Thunder roared without pause, shaking the world to its core.

Space itself fractured and collapsed, as though the end of the world had arrived.

The cataclysm lasted three seconds.

Then, silence.

When heaven and earth cald once more, the battlefield was empty.

The Dragonkind and Demon armies were gone, without even a trace left behind.

From top-level Demons and Dragonkind Battle Generals to the hidden Dragon Kings and Demon Kings, all had been erased by the lightning.

The overwhelming troops that had pressed against Shenxia City monts ago vanished like a dream… or a bubble.

Everyone stood frozen in shock.

Weapons slipped from hands, clattering against the ground.

Feng Yiming shook uncontrollably as he stared at the Thunderclap Tower, disbelief filling his eyes.

That was Godslaying Lightning, and it was far stronger than the last ti.

There was no doubt about it.

Only one person in existence could command the Thunderclap Tower to unleash such power—Lin Moyu.

Inside the tower, Lin Moyu looked slightly weary.

The strike he had just unleashed was terrifyingly powerful, infused with law. Channeling such power inevitably invited backlash.

To withstand it, Lin Moyu had employed the Soul-Splitting Art, separating a sliver of his soul to bear the impact.

That sliver was completely annihilated, leaving him with minor injuries.

Fortunately, the damage was limited; it was only a single strand, after all.

The Nine-Colored Dragon Soul Crystal released a stream of soul force, rapidly healing his injuries.

It would not take long for him to fully recover.

Lin Moyu was deeply satisfied with the might of the Godslaying Lightning. The attack had ripped through space itself, its power reaching a level comparable to that of the Demon Emperor.

Though still slightly inferior, it was more than enough to contend with the Demon Emperor.

“Ti to go to the Abyss.”

Lin Moyu produced the Abyssal Teleportation Stone and activated it. In the blink of an eye, he vanished from the Thunderclap Tower.

Outside, Feng Yiming waited for a long while, yet Lin Moyu never ca out.

By then, the entire Shenxia City was swept up in celebration.

People endlessly debated the origin of the purple lightning.

Only Feng Yiming knew the truth, and he kept it to himself.

He knew that what had happened today would one day be recorded in history as a miracle.

Only he knew who had created it.

A single bolt of lightning had reduced more than 100,000 troops to ashes. If that wasn’t a miracle, then what was?

Within the Abyss, eerie green flas burned everywhere—across the land, through the sky, utterly pervasive.

The darker the flas, the more perilous the region, marking the territories of powerful Demons.

This was Lin Moyu’s second ti entering the Abyss.

The first ti, he had been plagued by helplessness and anxiety. This ti, there was only cold, unwavering killing intent.

Holding a Teleportation Stone, Lin Moyu sensed his surroundings. It was a return stone leading to the White God Courtyard, personally crafted by ng Anwen.

Because it bore ng Anwen’s personal mark, Lin Moyu could discern a general direction from it.

After confirming his route, Lin Moyu unfurled his Lightning Deathwings and shot forward.

He moved like a streak of lightning, refusing to detour even when passing a city, instantly drawing the attention of Demons.

“A human!”

“A human dares to fly through the Abyss? Courting death!”

“Let’s eat him!”

The Demons roared, surging forward with bloodlust.

In the next instant, the sky darkened, the phantom undead world descended, and the undead gate opened.

The Undead Eye materialized in midair, silver-white undead fire blazing within it.

The Demons that had leapt into the air abruptly lost focus in their eyes and fell silently to the ground.

The Undead Eye advanced alongside Lin Moyu, gazing down upon the land.

Entire swaths of Demons perished in silence. Wherever he passed, not a single soul survived.

This was only a small city. No powerful Demons resided here, and none could withstand the soul attack of Undead Gaze.

Before long, a second city ca into view.

This ti it was a large city. Before Lin Moyu even reached it, alarms shrieked from within the walls.

A barrier flared to life, and countless Demons poured into the sky.

With the Undead Eye hovering above him and the vast undead army surging at his sides, Lin Moyu charged straight ahead.
