Jiang Yi chuckled, “So I was right. Tell , what race are you?”
Lin Moyu sneered, “And why should I tell you? You’re nothing more than a failure of the Soulkind. What right do you have to question ?”
Jiang Yi suddenly burst into laughter, “I may be a failure, but I’m still part of the Soulkind. You should understand the consequences of killing .”
Lin Moyu’s expression darkened as he stared at him.
Jiang Yi remained calm and confident, as if he truly had nothing to fear.
After a few seconds, Lin Moyu let out a quiet sigh, “Killing you would indeed be troubleso. However… imprisoning you is another matter. I can trap you forever, ensuring you never leave.”
“I’ll lock you inside the Godslaying Fortress, where you’ll be struck by Godslaying Lightning every single day. I’ll torture you slowly.”
"Don’t worry. I’ll adjust the power carefully so you won’t die.”
As he spoke, Lin Moyu raised the Thunderclap Tower’s outer tower.
Purple lightning crackled across its surface, illuminating the soul world with violent flashes.
Lin Moyu’s gaze grew colder, tinged with unmistakable bloodlust.
Jiang Yi’s composure instantly shattered, and he scread, “You can’t imprison . I’d rather kill myself.”
Lin Moyu replied, “Then go ahead.”
“You…!” Jiang Yi was speechless.
Even ants clung to life, let alone a Soulkind powerhouse.
If there was even a chance to survive, Jiang Yi would never choose death.
Lin Moyu thought for a mont before speaking, “It’s not impossible for to let you go. But you must agree to a few conditions.”
Hope flickered in Jiang Yi’s eyes, “What conditions?”
Lin Moyu spoke slowly, “First, you must never again treat the humans as your enemy.”
Jiang Yi nodded imdiately, “Once I’m free, I’ll go to the Abyss or the Dragonkind World. I guarantee I will never appear in the Human World again.”
“Second, I know you want to beco world lord and turn imperishable. I want that too. But during my infiltration, sothing went wrong. I fell into a slumber for many years. Now that I’ve awakened, my mories are fragnted.”
As he spoke, Lin Moyu stared intently at Jiang Yi, observing every subtle change in his expression.
He feared that a careless word might arouse suspicion.
In Jiang Yi’s eyes, however, the gaze rely looked like cautious vigilance.

Lin Moyu had no idea where he had slipped up, but his expression remained calm, “You’re mistaken. If I were native to this world, how could I possess such a powerful soul?”
“I still rember that in the world beyond, my realm should have been True God.”
Jiang Yi suddenly burst into laughter, “You slipped again! A True God cannot descend into this world—the rules forbid it!”
Lin Moyu realized he had misspoken once more.
He knew too little about the world beyond and had been relying mostly on guesses.
