To have survived from the previous age until now ant existing for at least several thousand years.
Given the natural lifespan of humans, such longevity required extraordinary strength.
Lin Moyu had long known how formidable that age had been.
In that ti, multiple Transcendent Gods existed simultaneously, while half-step Transcendent Gods numbered in the hundreds.
As for high-tier God-level, they were too nurous to count.
Compared to the present age, it had been an era of overwhelming prosperity and strength.
With so many experts, it was inevitable that so had forged unique paths of advancent.
Antares would have selected suitable individuals to guide toward the supre path.
Yet, from what Antares implied, even those figures were inferior to him.
Lin Moyu smiled faintly, “Perhaps we’ll et in the future.”
Antares nodded, “If that fellow is still alive, you probably will. After all, you co from the sa world. Though… that self-important fool has a habit of courting death. He might not live until then.”
It was obvious that Antares held him in low regard.
Lin Moyu didn’t know what had happened between them, but whatever it was, they certainly hadn’t parted as friends.
When Antares ntioned him, his tone carried genuine disdain.
The two skill star cores entered the soul world, and Lin Moyu began channeling soul force into them.
His multitasking ability was exceptional, allowing him to manage the process with ease.
Under normal circumstances, his abundant soul force could fully feed a single skill star core without issue.
But sustaining two simultaneously was far more demanding—especially since his soul force had only recently been depleted and had yet to fully recover.
Before long, it ran dry once again.
“Here I co!” Antares let out an excited cry and struck without hesitation.
Having killed Lin Moyu many tis, he was thoroughly experienced.
Transcendent God-level power surged forth, devoid of any laws—purely raw physical strength.
As Antares had once explained, when physical strength reached a certain threshold, it could unleash devastating destruction even without the aid of laws.
Among the myriad laws, so governed this very principle—the most notable being the law of power in the second tier.
Antares struck Lin Moyu with sheer physical strength.
Yet, upon impact, a flash of white light rippled across Lin Moyu’s body. Damage Transfer activated.
“Didn’t kill him?” Antares was taken aback, “That shouldn’t be.”
Although Lin Moyu had advanced from level 83 to level 86, his essence shouldn’t have changed much.
In Antares’s eyes, his defense shouldn’t have increased enough to withstand the blow.
Lin Moyu was equally puzzled, but realization soon dawned on him.
The difference lay in his newly acquired law art: Summon Skeletal Divine Warrior.
The Skeletal Divine Warriors were far superior to the previous Skeletal Berserk Warriors.
Though Lin Moyu hadn’t checked the details, the description stated they matched his soul rank, placing them at level 94.
This ant a leap from level 86 to level 94, and beyond level 90 a qualitative change occurred.
Skeletal Berserk Warrior evolved into Skeletal Divine Warrior.
This transformation was profound and comprehensive.
As a result, Lin Moyu’s defense had been greatly amplified.
The Skeletal Divine Warriors had successfully absorbed Antares’s attack.
Antares waved it off casually. “No matter. I’ll just increase the power a bit. Let’s try Transcendent God 3rd tier.”
As he spoke, another claw strike descended.
The previous strike had been Transcendent God 1st tier; this one was 3rd tier.
This ti, the attack succeeded. Lin Moyu’s Undeath Undead passive skill triggered, instantly reviving his entire undead army.
Sensing the force of a Transcendent God 3rd tier attack, Lin Moyu noted it was several tis stronger than before.
From this, he deduced that the gap between Transcendent God 1st tier and 3rd tier was not small.
It followed naturally that within Transcendent God-level, each tier represented a massive leap in power.
The higher the level, the greater the gap—just as the gap between level 20 and level 25 could be bridged, but the gap between level 90 and level 95 was nearly insurmountable.
Antares struck again. Still Transcendent God 3rd tier.
Despite his seemingly carefree deanor, Antares’s control was precise. Transcendent God 3rd tier was exactly enough to deal a fatal blow to Lin Moyu.
In doing so, he was effectively showing Lin Moyu the limits of his current defense.
After four consecutive strikes, each accompanied by flashes of purple light, Comprehensive Rebirth triggered.
Lin Moyu’s soul force returned to its peak, and he imdiately resud channeling it into the two skill star cores.
Antares watched, a flicker of envy in his eyes, “That talent of yours is sothing else. I’m really envious.”
Lin Moyu joked, “Want to give you half?”
“Pfft. As if that’s possible.” Antares saw through the joke imdiately and turned away, acting tsundere.
Lin Moyu chuckled, “Didn’t you say there are powerhouses in the greater world who can seize others’ talents? Why not learn that? It’s not like I could stop you.”
Antares snorted in disdain, “With my status, how could I stoop to sothing so crude? Stealing talent is a vile act. Only a bottom-feeding race like the Soulkind would do such a thing.”
“What’s yours is always best. Things taken from others co with problems.”
As he spoke, a thought struck him, and he tilted his head, “Actually… that reminds of sothing.”
“What is it?” Lin Moyu asked.
Antares shook his head, “Not now. We’ll talk about it later. The item is in my lair—assuming no one’s taken it. Even if they have, I’ll make them return it.”
Lin Moyu didn’t press further, but he knew it had to be sothing extraordinary.
His soul force drained once more. The two skill star cores were nearly full; just one final push remained.
Before he could speak, Antares was already moving.
The tail lashed through the air. Then a claw. At one point, even his chin struck.
Every part of Antares’s body was a weapon, each capable of unleashing terrifying power.
Under wave after wave of attacks, Lin Moyu was restored to peak condition.
The two skill star cores burned fiercely, on the verge of erupting and turning into stars.
Suddenly, Antares let out a startled cry, “Oh no!”
Lin Moyu blinked, “What’s wrong?”
Antares replied, “Two law art stars forming at once ans two little black dots. Which one am I supposed to watch?”
Lin Moyu felt both amused and exasperated, “Just use one eye for each.”
“Get lost! This isn’t a performance! It requires absolute focus!”
“Just try it. You won’t know unless you do. Don’t tell you can’t multitask.”
Antares looked troubled. But there was no alternative.
Watching only one ant wasting the other, and that was unacceptable.
“I’m probably the first Dragon in history to watch two tiny black dots at once.”
The greater world was vast, so anything was possible.
Lin Moyu couldn’t be sure he was the first to form two law arts at once.
Still…
Lin Moyu smiled, “Next ti, I might try for three.”
“Shut up! There’s a limit to how wasteful one can be!”
Amid Antares’s grumbling, the blazing skill star cores erupted, and two law art stars slowly erged.
