"So I'm dead?"
"Unfortunately, yes. You died from the curse that the demon king placed on you."
"..."
"DAMN! FINALLY!" I stood up, raising my hands, shouting at the top of my lungs, "I can rest now!"
"Eh?... H-Hero-sama?" The woman standing next to was stunned at my reaction, not expecting that I'd be happy that I died.
"Hmm?" I looked at the woman in front of , or rather, the goddess of the sun. She was a gorgeous beauty, a tall and slim body, smooth white hair that reached her shoulders, and her eyes were the sa captivating white color. Her skin was pale, and her dress was simple, a pure white dress with a golden outline.
"Yes?"
"A-Ah... no... umm... please wait a mont. I-I will explain everything... Yes, that's right, please give a minute." The goddess of the sun was stuttering, looking back and forth in a daze and confusion.
'What's wrong with her?' I thought, confused about her reaction. She's the one who's acting weird here, not .
"..."
Alright, too. But you get the point.
After a few minutes of awkward silence, the goddess finally spoke.
"Do you hate , Hero-sama?" she asked, sohow already knowing what my answer would be.
"Yes, I hated you for a ti," I replied with no hesitation. "The responsibility of being the Hero was too much for a young boy to handle."
At the age of 12, I awakened my magic, and as you may have guessed, my magic was of the sun. At the start, I was so excited about the idea of being the Hero. I would help the people and save the world from the demon king, and everyone would adore . But the reality was the complete opposite. When I got my powers, I was imdiately sent to the battlefield to fight. They never told the reason for the war, but that was all I did. Fight, train, fight, rest, train, eat, and then repeat the process again.
Fighting for twenty bloody years was exhausting, and the expectations of the people that kept rising with each victory over the demons really got under my skin. Greedy and selfish people, they never held a sword in their life, only expecting to do all the fighting for them.
And I did, to the end, slaying the demon king.
"I'm sorry, Hero-sama." The goddess looked down, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I'm sorry for everything that happened."
"It's fine, it wasn't your fault," I said, trying to console her.
"B-But—"
"Look, I'm not angry, I'm not sad, I'm just tired," I said, the exhaustion I had since being the Hero finally ca crashing down.
"I know, Hero-sama. You did well. The war is now over. You don't have to fight anymore," she said, smiling brightly.
Yes, the war is over with the death of the nobles.
"..."
What? You thought the demon king was the biggest threat? Nooo. Let tell you a little secret. Humans are more capable of doing evil that surpasses even the demons.
After slaying the demon king, I found out that nearly all of the human nobles were in a secret pact with the demons to keep the war going. Apparently, warti is more profitable than peace.
So what I did was I enslaved what remained of the demon king's army and marched with them as their new king, killing all the human nobles. Then I made a little show of coming late and slaying all the demons, saving what was left of the humans.
Perfect plan. Two birds with one stone—killing the demons and the nobles. And no one found out about the truth.
"Yes, the war is over, and my ti is over," I sighed, looking up at the white ceiling of this strange place.
The goddess's domain.
"So what happens now?" I said, staring at the goddess in the eyes. "Where should I go now?"
"For your sacrifices, I'm here to grant you a place in my paradise," she replied with a smile.
"Paradise?"
"Yes, a world without sin and without suffering. A world full of happiness and bliss. You have sacrificed your life, Hero-sama, so you are entitled to it," she said with the sa warm smile.
"Oh.."
'So that's what happens to a Hero after they die,' I thought.
"Yes… But that's not all," the goddess suddenly added.
SNAP!
FUSHHH!
She snapped her fingers, and a magical circle appeared in front of .
"I'm ready to give you a chance to beco an angel of the highest order."
"Angel of the highest order?" I asked.
"Yes," she nodded. "You're the only one who managed to defeat the demon king, and this is your reward."
"I see."
Angel, huh... Not a bad offer. They are immortal beings with extraordinary power. At so point during the war, what remained of the Sun Church priests gathered and perford a ritual asking the goddess for help during dark tis. The goddess responded by sending one angel who wiped an entire army on his own.
"No need to give an answer now," the goddess said, approaching with slow and graceful steps that sohow made recall the painful fact that I died as a VIRGIN!
You may think that a hero would have a lot of girlfriends and lovers, but no. I was too busy fighting and training, plus most of the girls around looked like duds, so yeah. I kind of forced myself not to think about that.
"Ummm, Hero-sama, are you alright?" the goddess asked.
"Ah, yes," I said, shaking my head, trying to erase those not-safe thoughts.
"That's good. If you want, I can wait," she smiled.
"No, it's fine. I'm ready to accept it," I said.
"Good. Let us first head to my paradise, and then we can transform you into an angel," she said happily, holding my hand and guiding to the portal.
"Do you think I'm stupid?" I said, pulling her to with force.
"Eh?... Hero-sama?"
[Hell Chain]
"W-What is this?!" The goddess was shocked at the sudden appearance of black chains that wrapped around her body, binding her to the floor.
"Hero-Sama?! W-What are you doing!?" she asked, panicking, her beautiful white dress getting torn by the black chains.
"Cut the crap, Sol," I said, calling her by her true na that very few people knew about. "I know I'm not dead."
"What are you talking about?! I-I have no idea!" she pleaded, still trying to play the fool. But I wasn't in the mood for gas.
SLAP!
I slapped her right across the face. She was montarily shocked—a mortal slapping a god. Can you imagine that? But that shock didn't last long. Her beautiful face changed to one of a cold and nacing expression. She was glaring daggers at , but I didn't flinch. I glared back, not letting her intimidate . After all, she was a goddess. A very powerful one.
"You're quite brave to slap a goddess," she said, her voice cold as ice. "Pathetic human!"
"Ahh... here it is, the true face of the goddess of the sun," I said, grinning, raising my hand high, finally seeing her true colors.
"So, how did you figure it out?" she asked, calm and cold, no longer caring about the cute and innocent character of the goddess that she made and the whole world believe to be her real self.
"Use your imagination, goddess of the sun," I said, mocking and tracing my hand on the black chains that bound her and touching her white thighs in the process.
'Damn, what smooth skin.'
"..."
What? Oh... co on. The most beautiful woman in existence is tied before , and you think I wouldn't take my chances? I'm a MAN! A real man.
"Don't touch with your filthy hand, human." She glared, raising her right hand, bringing her fingers close, ready to snap. "I have other important things to do, and I don't have ti for your gas."
SNAP!
She snapped her fingers while staring at with a cold smile as if I was done for the mont she snapped. But to her surprise, nothing happened.
"W-What?" Sol exclaid, looking at her fingers in disbelief. Snapping a second, and third ti, but nothing happened.
"Hehehe... surprised?" I asked, unable to hold myself from cracking a laugh.
"H-How is this possible? What did you do? Tell !" Sol demanded, glaring at , her anger clearly visible.
"Hehehe... oh, you'll find out soon," I said, enjoying the sight of the goddess tied by my chains, her beautiful body covered in sweat from her struggles.
"You know," I began, waving my hand, summoning a black throne, further shocking the goddess. After all, we're inside her domain, and any form of magic should have been impossible to do.
"I waited a thousand years to see your face again, Sol." My voice was montarily distorted as a shadow began to take form on the left side of my face.
"D-Demon King?" Sol trembled, her eyes wide in shock. "I-Impossible... you died."
"Surprised?" the shadow face said, smiling, revealing its sharp fangs. "Well, I can't bla you. After all, I did die."
"H-How?"
"That's a secret," the shadow face whispered, laughing. Floating out of my face and turning to . "Thank you, Hero, for this gift. I can rest in peace now."
"No need to thank , bro," I replied. "You helped too."
"But I have to," the shadow said, turning back to the goddess for one last glance before disappearing. "I will forever be grateful to you."
'Phew... at last, so peace of mind.' Massaging my eyes, I was happy that the voices had finally stopped.
That shadow face of the Demon King wasn't the real one, just his mories—a part of his soul that I had absorbed thanks to a unique skill I acquired during my travels with pure luck. Because of this skill, I absorbed the Demon King, and because I absorbed him and gained his mories, I discovered the true face of the Goddess of the Sun.
"Now then," I said, standing up from my throne, and walking towards Sol, a big grin on my face. "Ti to claim my reward."
"W-What do you an?" she asked, trembling and struggling against the black chains. "What reward?"
"Well..." I placed my right hand on her cheek and said with an innocent smile, "It's ti for to graduate from my virginity."
"WHAT!"
