While Ajax was still in shock, the Elental Spirit Emperor used Ajax's attack and in the next second, a dozen Lightning Snakes appeared in front of the Elental Spirit Emperor.
These Lightning Snakes looked just like the ones that Ajax summoned earlier both shape-wise and power-wise.

Even though killing the Summoner will kill all the Elental Spirits, that rule won't apply to the Elental Spirits that Ajax had ford the contract during his current trip to the Elental Spirit World.
It was because Ajax had yet to bring his newly contracted elental spirits out of the Elental Spirit World and thus, even if Ajax was killed, nothing would happen to these elental spirits.
As for the elental spirits that he ford contracts with in the past, there would be two outcos.
1) The unofficial elental spirits would die without any choice.
2) As for the official elental spirits, they could either die with their Summoning Master to follow him in his afterlife or they could just sever the contract with Ajax with slight injuries and return to the nearest Elental Spirit World.
That's the reason why almost all the Elental Spirits like to form an official contract with the Summoning Master as it would at least let them have a contract over their life and death.
Of course, these kinds of outcos were only for the other Summoners and not for Ajax.
As for him, since his Soul was already connected to the Soul Nourishnt Tree, he would be returned to the Soul Nourishnt Tree and of course, he had to pay so penalty for his death.
