Now reading: Chapter 100 100: The Duke vs. Abel, O5's Most Desperate Day from New Star In Marvel, a Action novel by Dragonscribe31.

SCP-083 was an anomaly with vampiric traits—traits reminiscent of the blood-drinking monsters in fantasy novels. But by his own claims, he wasn't rely a vampire.

He was the progenitor, the ancestor of all vampires.

What made him particularly terrifying wasn't just his imnse strength or speed, but the bizarre and unpredictable way his body reacted to different blood types. Each variation in blood could trigger a radically different reaction—ranging from docility to uncontainable rage.

Initially, life in the Foundation's custody wasn't difficult for him. He followed protocols, was relatively stable during tests, and even communicated on occasion. That peace shattered one day during an experint.

In Test 083-C, SCP-083 was unknowingly given blood from a victim of sexual assault. She had been a virgin prior to the event. This seemingly minor detail caused an unexpected and unprecedented reaction.

Duke. Rage.

[Docunt 25-083-076]

Location: Containnt Area 25

Event: Subject SCP-083 experienced extre rage upon consuming blood given during Test 083-C. Rage levels exceeded previous benchmarks.

Result: SCP-083 breached containnt.

Coinciding Event: SCP-076-2 also initiated activity within the sa containnt zone.

Consequence: Simultaneous breach of both SCP-083 and SCP-076-2 led to imdiate containnt failure. Reinforcents were called in by O5 command.

SCP-076-2.

The mont that designation flashed across the monitor, the entire audience watching the live broadcast fell into shocked silence.

"Wait a second… isn't that Abel?!"

Natasha Romanoff leaned forward, her voice tense. "They actually let Abel out again?"

mories flashed across her mind. Abel—the near-unstoppable warrior. The being who had once nearly obliterated SCP-682 with a single blow. The one who had destroyed the 'Flower of the Universe' and, according to classified reports, had restarted the world using his sheer force of will.

Every agent present felt a chill.

Abel was back.

The Duke was loose.

And now… the two most dangerous Keter-level humanoids were facing off. Was the Duke truly capable of standing toe-to-toe with Abel?

The footage continued.

[Security Log - Tistamp Corrupted]

Following the event, SCP-083 entered a hyper-aware state. He broke into a previously decommissioned chamber belonging to an SCP whose designation remains redacted. He wielded the relic within as a weapon. The object allowed him to stall SCP-076-2 long enough for remaining personnel to evacuate.

A warhead was subsequently detonated. Final outco: [DATA EXPUNGED].

That report silenced the live chat instantly.

All previous comnts vanished in the blink of an eye. What had started as a chaotic flood of reactions beca a wall of stunned silence.

And then—chaos erupted in the comnt stream again.

"WTF?! This guy went insane because of blood?"

"He caused the containnt breach and then FOUGHT 076-2? Wasn't he the one who started all this?!"

"That's... actually insane. Like, top-tier nuclear ltdown insane."

"Wait, so he's a monster, but also helped slow Abel down? Now I'm confused."

"So this is why they wanted to terminate him. Makes sense now!"

anwhile, back at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, the agents were equally dumbfounded.

"Clearly," Nick Fury muttered, his expression unreadable, "he had self-control before the Rage state… but when he loses that, he's a full-blown nuclear warhead in humanoid form."

The room nodded in grim agreent.

"This kind of unpredictable threat is exactly why the Foundation decided to terminate him."

Now, the logic of terminating SCP-083 was clear to everyone. The question that remained was who would carry out that execution?

"Wasn't it Dr. Clef's job to handle Keter terminations?" asked Jas, placing the file back on the desk.

"Yes," said Victor Hale with a shrug. "But this ti, the Foundation made a different call."

Victor leaned back in his chair, arms crossed and a self-satisfied grin on his face.

"They decided to launch an official termination protocol for SCP-083. The person chosen to execute it was selected from the Foundation's internal 'Execution Pool'—a roster of individuals with extensive experience in eliminating humanoid anomalies."

He stood up theatrically, puffed his chest out, and began imitating the grandiose tone of the O5 Council:

"An individual with a no-nonsense attitude, surgical precision, and a flawless track record…"

He then placed a hand over his heart and proudly declared:

"That individual… is !"

Jas nearly choked. "At first, I thought they were describing Dr. Clef."

Victor's expression imdiately twisted. "Don't ntion that bastard's na around !"

He glared at Jas as if he'd just insulted his mother.

"Just you wait! I'll show everyone what a textbook execution looks like."

Jas bowed playfully. "Then I look forward to being educated."

The livestream audience, however, shared a different opinion. A very grim one.

If there was one thing they trusted Clef with, it was successfully terminating Keter-level threats—no matter how grotesque or violent the thod.

But Victor Hale?

He had a reputation. For chaos. For collateral damage. For unintended consequences.

If Clef was a scalpel, Victor was a sledgehamr with a blindfold.

Their concerns were confird faster than they expected.

The next segnt of the broadcast opened with an eerie silence and a solemn tone. Jas was seen being led by Foundation staff through a grand hall filled with banners and officials. A massive screen lood above the crowd.

In bold red letters, the screen read:

"Review Hearing: High-Level Supervisor Victor Hale's Misconduct in SCP-083 Termination Operation."

"Subject: Unauthorized Protocol Breach & Resulting Containnt Failure – Site 19."

Jas: "…"

Live Chat: "…"

The chat erupted again.

"WAIT—What happened to the textbook part?!"

"Dr. Kondraki is here! And he's DOWN!"

"Fast-forwarded straight to the STRUGGLE SESSION???"

"BRO I JUST SPIT OUT MY DRINK."

"Is this what a 'surgical' termination looks like?! Because it feels like he used a chainsaw instead of a scalpel."

"This man turned a termination into a TED Talk… about failure!"

For a brief, beautiful mont, the entire Marvel world was united—not in fear, but in laughter.

Even the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents watching couldn't help but chuckle.

And amidst all of it, Jas stood with arms crossed, watching Victor Hale's public humiliation unfold. He raised a brow and leaned toward one of the agents.

"I'm guessing they won't be calling him for the next termination."

"Nope," the agent replied, trying to contain his grin.

In the aftermath, the O5 Council issued a revised protocol. All future Keter-level terminations must go through double vetting, and only Class-XK authorized executioners could be assigned.

Victor Hale was temporarily removed from duty.

Jas, however, continued his role as an investigator and liaison. His curiosity about the Foundation's thods—and their internal politics—only deepened.

As for SCP-083?

The Duke's current status remains [CLASSIFIED].

So say he was neutralized.

Others believe he simply vanished during the chaos—possibly even escaping into the wilds, injured, but still alive.

And Abel?

His whereabouts remain uncertain.

But one thing is clear.

O5 faced one of their most desperate days… and barely survived.
